ExtJS Chart Hide Grid - extjs

I'm using the axis.drawGrid() method but I'd also like to use something like axis.hideGrid() , is there a way to do that ?
Thanks

Yes, it's doable. I use the following code to hide grid lines on each axis.
chart.axes.getAt(index).gridLines.hide(true)

Chart.js Radar Chart how to add custom tooltip a non-point location

I have a pretty basic radar chart and its working as it should.
Now I'm wondering if there is a way to add tooltips that use the default styling but for non-point coordinates, such as the centre position.
I would like to re-use the built in tooltips to benefit from styling and transitions without having to built a custom onHover overwrite.
So I would like to specify x and y coordinates in which the tooltip should show up and then the text that should be displayed. Some kind of callback would work I assume.
I suppose I could add a dataset which has all 0 values and add a custom tooltip to that, but that's not quite exactly what I am trying to achieve here.
Does Chart.js support this? I couldn't find it in the specs nor on stack overflow.
Thanks in advance!

how to make ExtJS grid summary feature show above grid header

I know it is possible to use grid's summary plugin and dock it to the bottom or top of the grid (underneath the header part), however I was wondering if it is possible and how would one go about putting the summary right above the grid headers..
Thanks.
Evan Trimboli gave the correct hint: You can adjust the weight of the summaryBar. This does not take immediate effect at runtime, so to enforce the new weight being used, you will have to call moveDocked:
panel.down('[itemId=summaryBar]').setWeight(99);
panel.moveDocked(panel.down('[itemId=summaryBar]'), 'top');

A nice-looking WPF knob control source code?

I am trying to make some rotary knob with WPF and C#, .NET3.5; So right now what I am having is:
but instead, I really want to have something like these:
Anyone has any idea how I can make it look nicer? I am writing the WPF code from scratch. Thanks a lot.
You are using SolidColorBrush right now. Play with RadialGradientBrush instead to achieve the look.
You can create such an effect by finding a nice pictue of a knob, and then apply a rotatetransform on it.
If the picture contains the scale, you will need to edit that out to an other image, which can be under the knob picture.

Display percentage on piechart in WPF

Hii
Can anyone tell me how can I show percentage on the piechart....
The percentage is seen on mouseover event but I dont know how to show
the percentage on the piechart's slices....
If you are looking to put labels on the chart itself (instead of tooltip), take a look at this great blog post by WPF guru Bea Stollnitz.
It shows how to do this, in many different modes, and explains not only how, but why.
Take a look at amCharts Bundle for WPF. Pie chart supports labels on the slices, outside connected labels and includes an algorithm to prevent label overlapping.
I've just followed this tutorial (just to make sure) and I get the percentages of each slice as tooltip on mouse over by default.
If you post your code we might be able to spot if there's a problem with it.
You can use labelFunction in mx:PieSeries, and lableFunction look like that
private function pieSeries_labelFunc(item:Object, field:String, index:Number, percentValue:Number):String
{
return StringUtil.substitute("{0} ({1}%)",item.description,percentValue.toFixed(1));
}
Where description is the label that you want to see.
feel free to ask any question.

Need a WPF rendering tip

I want to make a WPF Grid in which users can drag and drop controls from one cell to another and when the user is dragging I need to draw tips on the screen, like arrows. It's as if the tips were in ANOTHER LAYER in the screen. That is, they are not drawn IN the grid I mentioned.
The problem is: I don't know how to OVERLAP a "transparent" canvas over my Grid so that I can draw on it.
Do you experienced guys have some tip? THANKS.
I think what you are looking for are Adorners. You can read something about them here:

Heres an example with a listView control, pretty good.
Heres a tut also decent.
And even a section in msdn
