dotnetnuke event module other modules disappear - dotnetnuke

ok i have a dotnetnuke default event module installed in the website . it is at the bottom of the page in a eventcontentpane i designed for it on the home page. the thing is that when i click on any event on the calender it displays the event details in the middlecontentpane on the page but everything (other modules) disappears .what could be the work around ? anything guys? or i have to create a new detail module for that

In recent versions of the Events module, you should see an option in settings for "Event Detail New Page:". If that is unchecked, it should do what you are wanting.
If you don't have that option, make sure you've got the latest version of the module.

DotNetNuke (DNN) and Hyperlink Manager "Track the number of times this link is clicked"

I have clients using the DNN CMS (Evoq Content 7.3.2) system and are questioning a specific area in the "Hyperlink Manager". There are two checkboxes (View image):
Track the number of times this link is clicked
Log the user, date and time for each click
If checked, where do we go to view these analytics?
I found resources online that mention we have to create an API for it, but are there any out-of-the-box solutions for this?
After some more researching, I solved my own problem and I wanted to share this with anyone who was looking for an answer to this.
For versions DNN 7.3.2 and lower, the Telerik RadTextEditor includes the feature as mentioned above. To view the analytics with an out-of-the-box method, simply return back to the link and open the "Hyperlink Manager" then navigate to the new tab called "Tracking".
Alternatively, I found developers can implement a control in a custom module called UrlControl. Refer to this link for more information: Link tracking information in html editor (DNN 7.1.2)
In DNN 8+, this feature no longer exists on the front-end UI. I'm not 100% sure if it's still usable or if this information gets migrated when upgrading from 7 to 8, though.

Admin Menu Vanished in Drupal 7

I was installing some modules in Drupal 7.  Suddenly, the helpful buttons across the top for admin mode disappeared.  Can anyone tell me what happened and what I have to do?
I am able to go to {website}/admin and essentially see the same buttons on the page that, I guess, I would see across the top of the page, but I wonder if I am missing out on some functionality.
But even if I still have the functionality, I still can not find the place where I can install new modules, and the system is telling me I need the "views" module to view some content I need to manage.
What do I heed to have enabled in the modules to view these buttons across the top?  Is it called "dashboard"?
Also, if I never find a way to see these buttons, where is the page that will let me add a new module?
I do not understand what exactly do you mean. Which buttons? The black admin toolbar?
Dashboard is a module for creating a special page with different admin view blocks.
Anyway, the page for modules administration is available on /admin/modules in Drupal 7.
I think your administrative toolbar is not visible.
Check whether the module named Toolbar is deactivated in admin/modules. If Yes, Turn it on. It will solve your problem.
If not solved, kindly explain your issue.

Umbraco - Menu always loads to route #/content after any menu click

I have just updated my site to latest version I have been notified about.
I have following issue:
Clicking on any link in menu in admin site (/umbraco)
The workaround I have found is
click on the link
click on profile
click edit
confirm that you want to leave the page
then the page reloads to correct page
or
I can reload manually by typing lets say
/#settings and the the angular routing does work
Now ever it is annoying and I cannot give it to anyone else to use like this.
Ok,
After few days investigation, I have copied all resources from my local pc to the server and to my surprise It works now.
This leads me to the following conclusion:
My project from which I have deployed my versions did not contain all the required files even if all the scripts successfully completed.
If you have same issue, copy all folder to the deployment location and this should do the trick.

Installed DNN Module - Not showing in dropdown to give link

I had an link in my DNN site Menu - pointing to aspx page of my installed module.
I replaced this link with an external link.
And now i wish to change back to old one - aspx from module. BUT am not getting that listed in the dropdown
How to get that back or I missed anything ? I could found the module still in that EXTENSIONS.
Please suggest
Rigin
I think you may be a little confused,
Modules are placed on pages, (One or mor module generally makes up a page.
Menu links refer to pages,
To add a module to a menu it must be on a page.
Once you have placed you module on a page you can select it from the select a web page drop down
A dnn module got 2 pages a view page and a settings page. So you must be sure that your module start's with the correct page.
So what you want is not possible the way you want it.
Best way for you is to control the page in your module. You can control this with for example a user controls(ascx). See image for a default module view.

DotNetNuke - Module settings disapear on new user control

I have a DNN module which renders a user control (view.ascx)
All is ok ( I am logged in ) and I get the DNN settings menu.
however when I add another control and load it like so:
string url = Globals.NavigateURL(PortalSettings.ActiveTab.TabID, "View_Details", "mid=" + ModuleId.ToString());
Response.Redirect(url);
I lose the settings link when the new control loads.
Any ideas? Is there a property somewhere to turn on settings for the loaded user control?
When you have "mid" in the querystring, you're going to be using module isolation (i.e. that module control will show up in the edit skin's ContentPane and will be the only module on the page). When in module isolation, the action menu doesn't include settings. This is just a fact of DNN.
You have a couple of options. First, you could choose another navigation method (see Michael Washington's old (but still good) Module Navigation Options for your DotNetNuke® Module article).
Second, you could put your own link to the Settings on that control. You may be able to implement IActionable and just add it back to the action menu (I'm not sure if that would work), or you can add some sort of button or navigation bar to your module (potentially on all of the controls for consistency).
Are you designing this module for the general DNN community, or for a client that isn't familiar with DNN? People with DNN experience won't expect to be able to get to the settings one they're "inside" a module.
