Unable to move to cache, unable to move cache folder, unable to create cache - reactjs

I am using VS code to open my react projects. Neither the folder from the git repository nor the locally stowed projects are accessible.
[13512:1219/213241.168:ERROR:cache_util_win.cc(20)] Unable to move the cache: Zugriff verweigert (0x5)
[13512:1219/213241.169:ERROR:cache_util.cc(145)] Unable to move cache folder C:\Users\magsu\AppData\Roaming\Code\Cache\Cache_Data to C:\Users\magsu\AppData\Roaming\Code\Cache\old_Cache_Data_000
[13512:1219/213241.169:ERROR:disk_cache.cc(196)] Unable to create cache
I tried to reboot, cleaned and emptied the cache, deinstalled and reinstalled VS code.

I have experienced the same error message with node and python applications. In my case the issue was that I have executed the script file without the language prefix. Instead of:
node myscript.js
python myscript.py
I have executed:
myscript.js
myscript.py
I hope that this answer helps anyone having the same issue.

Either the permissions are bad or some process is holding a lock on those files (more likely).
I'm guessing in the background you have some process open that uses these files. For example, a dev server. Try killing all node processes via Windows Task Manager if you can't find the window and then try again.

Unable to open files in VS Code via terminal over SSH

I have a windows10 machine using Remote-SSH to interface with repo on an Ubuntu18.04 system.
Until about a month ago I was able to open files using VS Code's integrated terminal.
Now entering code ./myFile.txt returns immediately. No error, no file opened.
If a non existent file is opened code ./myNonExistentFile.txt the same thing happens.
Running code ./myFile.txt into an entirely local setup (no Remote-SSH) works; the file opens in VS Code.
Remote-SSH is otherwise working.
Has anybody else noticed this behavior?
#Max Lobur may be right. If not, you still feel free to restart the VS Code.
It's expected. You probably don't have vs-code on a remote machine, nor have forwarded the X-server thus nothing will happen when you run this.
I suggest mounting the remote file system to local machine and run code . locally: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-use-sshfs-to-mount-remote-file-systems-over-ssh
As a last resort, try deleting your server's .vscode-server folder, which is located at your home folder, as detailed in https://github.com/microsoft/vscode-remote-release/issues/1443

Can't access .well-known/acme-challenge folder

I'm trying to install an SSL certificate on my shared hosting by Plesk.
It worked before, but the renewal went wrong.
I finally uninstalled the certificate, but when I try to get a new one, I can't access the .well-known/acme-challenge folder.
I tried to put a test file inside but ends up with a 404 error.
If I place the file inside .well-known, I can access it.
If I rename the acme-challenge folder to acme2-challenge, I can access it.
What makes this specific acme-challenge file so protected, and where can I unprotect it?
There may be an Apache module or config that controls the directory. Search a config acmetool and the module md in the Apache board or in command line with grep -rinF acme /etc/apache2.
There are two common modules that manages acme, so to fix it, you may run sudo a2disconf acmetool or sudo a2dismod md, then regenerate certificate (you may have to wait one hour or one day if you reach the limit of Let's Encrypt).
To avoid a future issue, search for the package that modified the apache config too.

Xcode 9.4 : unexpected service error: The Xcode build system has crashed

I’m getting strange error while building project in Xcode 9.4
Build system information - unexpected service error: The Xcode build system has crashed. Please close and reopen your workspace.
I tried Xcode quit and reopen but that didn’t worked. Any solution?
Please clear derived data folder (located at ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData) and restart the Xcode project.
This error usually happens between Xcode major versions. Apple usually claim their new build system is ** times faster than their previous version. If you see this error(I see this on changing Xcode9 to Xcode10 beta), you can always change it to the legacy build system. Here is how you can do this:
Open 'workspace settings'( it is now changed to 'Project Settings' if you are using Xcode10 or later) in the File Menu
Change build system to 'legacy'
Update for Xcode 13.4.1:
I had this infamous bug today as well. I tried a lot including clean project, delete derived, restart max etc.
What did the fix finally is similar to the answer of kakaiikaka: I set the workspace settings to "Legacy Build System (Deprecated)" for both, the shared and per user workspace. I tried to build with this, but got an error because I had packages wich are not supported.
Restarted Xcode, then changed back the build system. Restarted Xcode again.
Now the crash doesn't happen any more.
Looks like something internal was spoilt and cycling the build system fixed it.
I moved a lot of files all at once between folders, including nested folders. This error started happening. Nothing I did in regards to cleaning, purging derived data, or undoing the move operation would help.
What I did to help was: restore the previous version of the project file from source control and then re-add all the applicable new files to it. It was project file related. Deleting user data inside the project container did not help in my case. So as long as you use source control and can rollback the .xcodeproj, this may be an option.
it happened to me when i changed build configuration names. After deleting Pods folder and Podfile.lock, and then runnnig "pod install" fixed the issue.
For Xcode 10.2 delete podfile, podfile.lock, xcworkspace, open terminal, cd directory of project, pod init, add pods you want to pod file, pod install, open xcworkspac. Everything will be indexing now and then you can build.

Cannot install appx through graphic installer

I'm facing a problem right now and I don't really know how to get more informations about it.
I've converted a desktop application through Microsoft's Desktop App Converter, made some manual modifications about the visual assets, and rebundled it through "makeappx.exe". Then I signed it.
Everything went fine. Except that when I double click the appx to check it, I have the following window:
Appx Error
Which roughly translates as "Couldn't open the appx or appxbundle file" and "Reason: Failure caused by an unknown reason".
This does not helps me a lot :/
However, if I try to install the package through a simple "Add-appxpackage MyPackage.appx", it works perfectly fine.
Could anyone help me find some leads on what's happening here? I've already checked the event viewer as explained here but I couldn't find anything unusual.
Thanks,
Skefrep
It seems the Microsoft team has taken notice of this problem and investigated this appropriately.
-Here is their solution-
The problem can be because when you convert an app with DesktopBridge the resources are signed with the manifest info and store that info in the .pri files you found in PackageFiles folder. Later, when you change something like the Publisher or the Name this signature doesn't match. To fix this you only need to recreate the .pri files.
rm *.pri. Remove the old .pri files.
cd C:\foo\PackageFiles\. Change current directory to the PackageFiles folder. This step is important for the next step.
makepri createconfig /cf priconfig.xml /dq en-US. Create a configuration file for the resources.
makepri new /pr "C:\foo\PackageFiles" /cf "C:\foo\PackageFiles\priconfig.xml". Generate the new *.pri files.
Then you can make the package as usual: MakeAppx, etc.
You can find more information about this problem in "Failed due to unknown reasons" error when you try to sideload a Desktop Bridge app - App Consult Team.

KNIME Command Line Execution - ClassNotFoundException

I'd like to schedule a KNIME workflow. The workflow does its job very good as long as I start it from the KNIME GUI application. When I execute the same workflow via command line, java complains that com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver
could not be found (ClassNotFoundException).
I invoke it via:
"D:\Progamme\KNIME\knime.exe" -nosplash -application -consoleLog org.knime.product.KNIME_BATCH_APPLICATION -preferences="absolutepathto\preferences.epf" -workflowDir="absolutepathto\workflow"
Since the error message signals missing content in the java CLASSPATH I also tried to add the parameters
-vmargs -classpath .;"absolutepathto/sqljdbc42.jar"
But still I earn a java slap, pointing to the same error...
I also tried to run the command from within the knime.exe's directory and I also tried to add the JAR file to Preferences -> Java -> Build Path -> Classpath Variable / User Libraries (referenced via the -preference argument). But that had no effect.
Did anybody face the same problems? Maybe with other third party JARs?
It is all about a Database connector that is configured like this:
Does the integrated security maybe force a misleading error?
System spec: KNIME 3.2.2 on Windows Server 2008 R2
Update - extract from preferences file
/configuration/org.eclipse.core.net/org.eclipse.core.net.hasMigrated=true
/configuration/org.eclipse.ui.ide/MAX_RECENT_WORKSPACES=10
/configuration/org.eclipse.ui.ide/RECENT_WORKSPACES=<list of some workspaces>
/configuration/org.eclipse.ui.ide/RECENT_WORKSPACES_PROTOCOL=3
/configuration/org.eclipse.ui.ide/SHOW_RECENT_WORKSPACES=false
/configuration/org.eclipse.ui.ide/SHOW_WORKSPACE_SELECTION_DIALOG=true
Is there maybe a problem due to the fact that it is a shared KNIME instance among several users and the command line execution does not know which workspace has to be chosen? Is the workspace somehow needed and why?
Partial Solution:
I finally managed it but I don't know exactly why it works now. What I did was to load a fresh portable version of KNIME and ran the same commands only changing the executable path to the new portable version. Before that I started the portable version once to set the workspace directory and register the database driver in preferences dialog and .ini file, nothing else, same configuration so far as the shared KNIME instance. What I am really wondering abpout is that from now on the commands are also working with the shared KNIME instance. I really don't know what caused the change that let KNIME find the driver class.
Info
Because I encountered a few more problems within shared environment in KNIME command line mode, that led to undeterministic execution results, I wrote a little .NET library. This gives me more flexibility/control over the workflow execution (which returncodes and error messages occured and so on). You can find it here if you're interested: KnimeNet
I took a very minimal approach:
cd "C:\Program Files\KNIME"
.\knime -nosplash -noexit -consoleLog -reset -application org.knime.product.KNIME_BATCH_APPLICATION -workflowFile="D:\Work\Knime Workflows\Output\CMD_Test.knwf" -preferences="D:\Work\Knime Workflows\Output\CMD_Test.epf"
