Cannot see Tenant Setting when already a Power BI Administrator - azure-active-directory

I need to enable Service principal API access.
I am already a Power BI Administrator and also a Global Administrator (as shown below)
I still cannot seet Tenant Settings on Power BI Admin Portal

I tried to find Tenant Setting in my environment by assigning the roles and got the same result as below:
To resolve the error, make sure to create an Administrative unit and add the user like below:
Assign the Power BI Administrator/Global Administrator to the user like below:
Click on the user -> Assigned roles -> Add Assignments
Make sure to login to the PowerBI Admin Portal with the same user account and the Tenant Setting will be visible like below:

Not able to access any tabs in AAD

I'm not able to access any tabs in AAD. What could be the issue?
Please check if below points can be worked around in your case.
Buttions or options being greyed out maybe because , you may not have had global admin rights/user administrator rights on the azure AD tenant. There are a few roles which can create users within the directory. You may not have any roles within the directory which permit the operations.

Even in Azure AD free edition ,one should be able to create the users if you have proper roles .
On completion of the first 30 days of Microsoft Azure’s free trial,
your ‘Free Trial’ Azure Subscription will be disabled. To fix this,
the subscription needs to be changed to the ‘Pay-As-You-Go’ plan
instead of the ‘Free Trial’ plan which it is currently on.
For example :For applications under Enterprise application, one of the following roles: Global Administrator, Cloud Application
Administrator, Application Administrator, or owner of the service
principal.
You can check Azure AD built-in roles, and by checking the
description of role , assign the required one to manage identity .
You can Assign Azure AD roles to users to manage the identities
if you have global or role administrator rights. Approach the
admin to assign the roles .Also see custom roles in Azure AD
if needed.

Possible to login to Snowflake using SSO without a user account or default role?

I'm working on improving the user experience for our org when logging into snowflake. We have adfs sso enabled and are provisioning mapping users to roles using azure ad. I had a colleague attempt to sign in with SSO who didn't have a user account created in snowflake and they were greeted with
"The signed in user <user#email.com> is not assigned to a role for the application (Snowflake)".
My question is, is it possible to have users sign into snowflake without being mapped to a default role, perhaps only have the public role assigned, and without being synced with azure ad.
If it is, i'd appreciate any pointers to documentation i can reference. The goal is to get all users that can SSO, to by default be able to login
AD group syncing occurs every 40 minutes in Microsoft, and I don't believe it's possible to force a sync or change this time frame. In addition, like the OP mentioned Snowflake cannot connect to an on-prem ADFS server so all users must be in Azure AD.
AD group syncing is somewhat configurable via the "Scope" (see Step 15 of this tutorial)
If your Scope is set to "Sync only assigned users and groups", you can either
Change the scope to "Sync all users and groups" (may cause issues if you don't want to import all this data into Snowflake)
or
Confirm that your desired users' AD group is one of those assigned to be synced to Snowflake (requires manually assigning these users, or that all of these users are part of the same AD group that you choose to sync to Snowflake).
By seeing the error its not allowing user who don't have appropriate role for the application.
In these why can't we create generic stored procedure to assign default role and instance to new user based on the group they belong to.! Each time if we add any new user then we have to run stored procedure to assign default role and object prior to his login to snowflake.

Azure create servicePrincipal results in Insufficient privileges to complete the operation

I am trying to create a new service principal using the command below using azure cli v2.0.
az ad sp create-for-rbac --name ServicePrincipalName
Changing "ServicePrincipalName" to a valid URI of "http://ServicePrincipalName", which is the required format used for service principal names

I am not sure what privileges the Azure Admin of my tenant should assign to my user so i can create a servicePrincipal any guidelines or document pointers please
First, you have to know what this command will do. The command az ad sp create-for-rbac --name ServicePrincipalName will create an AD App(app registration) along with a service principal in your tenant, the AD App will have an Application ID URI named http://ServicePrincipalName, a Display name named ServicePrincipalName. Then the command will add the service principal to your subscription as a Contributor.
The error you got means there is already an AD App with the Application ID URI equals http://ServicePrincipalName existing in your tenant. And you are not the Owner of the AD App. (Note: in the tenant, the Display name is not unique, but the Application ID URI is.)
To solve the issue and use this command successfully, follow the tips below.
1.Change the ServicePrincipalName to a different one. (Or if your admin allow you to use the existing AD App mentioned above, just let him add your user account as an Owner to the AD App. - not recommend)
2.If your account's User type is just a Member in the tenant. Make sure in the portal -> AAD -> User settings -> Users can register applications is Yes. If your account is a Guest , except the Users can register applications need to be Yes, also User settings -> External collaboration settings -> Guest users permissions are limited need to be No.
3.Your user account should be the Owner of the subscription. Otherwise you can create the service principal successfully, but you cannot add it to the subscription.

modify permissions of global administrator using graph explorer

I used Graph explorer->Logged in with Global administrator -> Modify Permissions-> chose User.ReadWriteAll,Group.ReadWriteAll,Directory.AccessAsUser.All and then select "access to your entire organization" and logged in again with global administrator
I get below error.

How can I add permissions to global administrator user?
Since your account is a guest in the tenant, you could not use the account to query the tenant, even if you are a global admin.

Credentials are only owned by a single tenant. The tenant is discovered by Graph Explorer based on domain. You cannot use Graph Explorer to query tenants your account is a guest on, it can only query the tenant that owns the account. The only way to use those creds with another tenant would be to force the OAuth uri to use that tenants ID instead of "common". This isn't supported by Explorer. You'd have to download the source an reengineer the auth process

No subscriptions found in the old Azure portal

I am using a visualstudio account in Azure. i have created a new user and given admin access to the active directory to this user. I also added this user as the owner to the subscriptions i had.
I now login as this into the new portal. I can see the subscription that i have. However i do not see the icon for Azure ActiveDirectory. Therefore i try to login to the old portal. This time I get stopped by a "No subscriptions found" prompt which does not let me for farther.
What is going on? why is there such discrepency between the two sites?
The classic (i.e. old) site only works with the old access model (service admin and co-admin), and requires at least one subscription to get into the site. The new site uses the fine-grained RBAC model (owner, contributor, etc...), and does not require any subscription just to get in to the site.
Adding a user as an 'Owner' in the new Azure portal does not make them a co-administrator, and thus, does not give them access to the classic portal:
The owners you added through the Azure portal cannot manage services in the Azure classic portal.
In order for your new user to get into the classic Azure portal, they need to have service admin or co-admin access to an Azure subscription. You can do one of the following:
Add the new user as a co-admin to your existing subscription (you would do this in the classic portal)
Make the new user the service admin for the subscription
Transfer the entire subscription to the new user (which also makes the new user the account admin)
