React JS : Chakra UI - Split view - reactjs

I am looking for a split view in react js , i am using chakra ui for my layouts and i am not able to achive it .
Left Pane is Menu which has a fixed height (no scrolling needed)
Right Pane is the page which gets loaded every-time user selects an option in left menu.
Right pane should be scrollable.

You should give a try on the Choc-UI Layouts for achieving this:
https://choc-ui.com/docs/application-shells/sidebar-layouts
Or here too:
https://chakra-templates.dev/navigation/sidebar
On the links you will get previews of components that have a side bar on left side getting th full height of the viewport, also a sidebar and a container for your app content or other components.
This section is independent of the sidebar and navbar showed on the previews. You can access the code with the show code option on each previo (top-right location)
Try removing the navbar and modifying the width of sidebar, and you will get a split version of the layouts as you are reaching for.

material ui, layout component for desktop to mobile responsive transition

I am writing a Single Web App with material ui, that needs to be responsive, but I do not know which is the control where I must allocate the mains component, if it is a grid or a box.
The next image show the main components arrangement in md,lg,xl
The next image show the main components arrangement in sm,xs when width < 960
In the web I found many complex and very difficult to understand layouts, but not find a basic example. Some like "material ui responsive for dummies".
The mobile version, will have a breakpage between the Appbar and Sidenav, both will occupy the full height, and the Map in the second page will fill the screen.
I did it for you with MU Grids and media queries, if you have questions, ask. I am always ready to help. This is codesandbox link. Let me know if it help you.

It display your layout for md lg xl correctly. For xs and sm screens, sidenav & map take full height with a break page between sidenav and appBar
Thanks to both, it solved the main part o what i need.
Also need to implement a change of page.
I forget to mention that the map will be React-Leaflet,
so need to implement a flap button over the map for the mobile version.
The button is for scroll to up, because any finger movement in the map area only will affect the map content.
Do not will have effect in the scroll.
Another thing to implement is the break page concept:
The behaviour of the break page is like when you see a pdf in presentation mode and press
the keyboard button Repag - Avpag, it change all the content and never see the half top and the half down.

React with Semantic-UI, struggling very hard with how to approach this layout (side bar and top nav bar)

My overall goal is something like this for the main overarching layout component:
Live example of my goal: https://app.mobalytics.gg/
Where there is a persistent 'sticky' top bar and side bar at all stages of the application. And then from that point on I use my router to modify the white portion of the screenshot with whatever component / functionality I want the user to experience.
However I am unfortunately struggling to get this to work at all. Various attempts have resulted in navbar overlapping the sidebar and then others the sidebar overlapping the navbar, some attempts crushed the sidebar to basically be only as long as the navbar. Tried using grids and then that crushed the "white portion" when I added components through the router and a few other non-solutions sadly...
How would someone achieve this with semantic-ui-react?
Other answers I've looked at and tried to no success sadly:
1: Separating Top Nav bar and Side nav bar
2: Sidebar + Fixed Top Menu in Semantic-UI React
3: semantic-ui-react fixed sidebar and navbar: can't get sidebar and content to scroll nicely

Carousel with thumbnail images at the bottom

In a Codenameone app, I'm trying to develop a carousel with a thumbnail list at the bottom. I've used Tabs control to display files (of diff types like images, video, text, button etc) in carousel style in the center of a form and another Tabs control to display thumbanail images (of the first carousel files) at the bottom of the form. When a user selects a thumbnail image in the bottom carousel, corresponding component should be displayed in the first carousel.
hi.add(BorderLayout.CENTER, mainCarousel);
hi.add(BorderLayout.SOUTH, bottom_tab);
bottom_tab.addSelectionListener((i1, i2) -> {
// bottom_tab.getTabComponentAt(i2).addPointerPressedListener((i) -> {
mainCarousel.getTabComponentAt(i2).setVisible(true);
mainCarousel.getTabComponentAt(i2).repaint();
// });
});
But the component not getting displayed in the central carousel.
Also, I tried to capture the event addPointerPressedListener, but it's not getting fired when I select a thumbnail image.
You can't set tab components to visible/invisible to show/hide them. That won't work. I'm guessing that what you want is a horizontal list for the bottom UI similar to the answer here.
I would suggest using pointer released always. Notice that this will only get delivered to focusable components or the form. To make sure you get the event you can register a pointer release listener on the form.

How can I rebuild Form Component in Codename One

I'm trying to create Custom Form configuration with scrollable TitleArea. The Form (black) has a BoxLayout.Y_AXIS Layout in BorderLayout.CENTER (blue). StatusBar (green) stays in BorderLayout.NORTH (green), when rest of the TitleArea (cyan) is in the first position in BoxLayout.
removeComponentFromForm function is unavailable for using in extended class. How can I remove components from Form to removing titleArea from BorderLayout.NORTH?
Why use the title area at all? Why not just add a component to the top of the box layout Y and style it as a Title that way you can scroll it out?
You can also use the new Toolbar API that includes many abilities to fade out the title as you scroll etc. See:
