I am pretty new to Oracle ADF, and I am working on an existing project. I want to add some attributes (via table) to an existing EO. But whenever I'm trying to open the EO from Jdeveloper, I am getting the following exception, and the EO remains uneditable.

See the image description for the EO that I couldn't able to add any attribute:
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Is this happening for all tables or only for a single entity?
I have a similar issue with an older version of ADF. What happens is that my column names in the database table have longer than 20 characters in length and JDeveloper can't handle that, so for that case I make a manual edit of the EO or make the EO to be based on a view that uses the same table but with shorter column names.
I think this error could be fixed by update JDeveloper to newest version.

since I started using the css (activated "CSS Theme Support" in the CN1 settings), whenever I launch the Component Inspector in the simulator, I get a load of stack trace errors (example below) before the Inspector shows. It seems more or less one stackTrace for each component shown on the screen, although I've not checked. In the end the inspector shows up and works correctly, but it often takes 30-60s to show all the stack traces first...
It doesn't happen for a small test example, so it seems it's specific to my code, but since I don't see anything related to my code in the stack trace I'm a bit at a loss about what causes it. Any suggestions or paths for investigation?
Thanks

This is an EDT violation in our code. It's not a big one and is actually permissible so this code is legal. However, the EDT violation detection code can't tell the difference between our code and yours. It can't tell whether a specific violation is "OK". So it prints this warning with a stack trace as a false positive.

I already add the flink-json-1.6.1.jar into flink lib path.
Could anyone helps?
Try adding the kafka connector sql jar (e.g. flink-connector-kafka-0.11_2.11-1.6.1-sql-jar.jar). You can find the whole list of connector dependencies here.
I have not update this themes.res (using the CN designer for a while) suddently after 1 day I do some update in my code and sent an Android build to rebuild, I found one of the form is not working.. when the form going to show, the apps through
'java.lang.String com.codename1.q.r.be()' on a null object reference.
After investigate, I found the UI Designer is able to open the theme.res file, but not able to show that particular form "Report".
I rerun the designer in command line to view any error through by the UI Designer, and it is:

Somebody please advice whats happen?
To workaround the issue you can probably delete and recreate that form. Assuming you find a way to consistently reproduce this I'd like to know what that is.
Before doing that copy the project to the side, open that project. Assuming you are using NetBeans go to project properties and select the option to convert the old GUI builder project to a new GUI builder project in the project properties under the Codename One section.
Once that is done go to the files section of the view and look at the project. Open res/guibuilder and find the .gui file matching this form. Look in it you should see a component with a "problematic" type value... If not please edit your question and place the XML of the .gui file there.
I just wrote my very first GWTTestCase but running it always gives me a VerifyError. Here's my embryo of a great testsuite to be :
public void test() {
Invoice invoice = new Invoice();
invoice.setInvoiceDate(DateTimeFormat.getFormat(DomainResource.DATE_PATTERN).format(new Date()));
InvoiceEditorDriver driver = GWT.create(InvoiceEditorDriver.class);
InvoiceNumberEditor editor = new InvoiceNumberEditor();
driver.initialize(editor);
driver.edit(invoice);
assertFalse(driver.isDirty());
}
For completeness, I use Google AppEngine and GWT together, and I think this may relate to the security sandbox of AppEngine.
The class that is being loaded is "com.gargoylesoftware.htmlunit.SocksSocketFactory".

I tried excluding GAE validation for given class but without success. I'm not sure if excluding validation is sufficient and if it's possilble to setup validation exclude rules for files in a jar.
Might be a classpath problem.
There was a similar problem on the mailing list, solved by removing a second instance of the PlainSocketFactory from the classpath.
I'm trying to resolve the problem with ClassNotFoundException for 3 days, and I can't find the solution, so I'm asking for help, the problem happens when i try to use every method except find or findAll on EJB Entity Beans.
For example when I try to use method remove():
ctx = new InitialContext();
remote = (CategoriesRemote) ctx.lookup("CategoriesFacade/remote");
remote.remove(category);
I get not nice looking Exception:

Previously I got others exceptions regarding no security manager, I resolved it adding
System.setSecuritymanager(new RMISecurityManager);
and adding client.all file to VM Options.
But I can't find the solution for this problem.
I think that in this case the problem is not because of ejb or security manager, but because worng classpath, but in my Netbeans project I added Eclipselink library, additionaly I set the global classpath with this folder containing jar file of eclipselink which have IndirectList class.
I'm getting this error in my client application. EJB Module works on JBoss Server.
Situation for me looks weird, I don't know why find or findAll methods works perfect and remove or create crashes.
I'm really exhaused because of the problem, I don't know how to move on, please help.
Well, according to what I see here, this class "org.eclipse.persistence.indirection.IndirectList" which is missing is present in glassfish distributions. So, I guess there might be a wrong distribution of eclipselink that you are using for your project that works with JBoss AS. A quick (but not be the right solution), would be to add one of the jars (from here) which best matches your environment to your classpath. My advice would be to double check the version, distribution of eclipselink.
