Im currently working on my backend for my website and Ive found that I need an index html. As I've done my front end in react (on Vscode) do I just copy and paste the exact same index html code I've already done in react in spring boot?
On my index page there is a search bar where users will enter text and I will pass it through to my algorithm that I've created in spring boot on eclipse and then the result will be returned on a new page. I've searched how to do this but a lot of the examples are more to do with saving items entered into a database. Im assuming I will need a controller which I have made that will link to the index page? But I don't know what else comes after that This may seem trivial but I am a complete beginner. Thanks in advance!
The class named review.java is my algorithm. I read that I probably need an entity, repo and service but I am unsure what goes in them. Ive attached my package explorer. Sorry if this a very basic question.

i'm trying to create a wordpress plugin and got a bit lost.
I'm not looking for a solution in code but could anyone direct me to a tutorial/docs where to find the correct approach.
I'm trying to post an array of objects to a mysql database.
Most basic stuff that you can do - onClick function, that connects to a database.
My wordpress plugin is created using React and I have previously used AJAX, but this time it throws quite a lot of errors that I have not seen, so I don't even know where to begin.
mysql npm package is also not working as I have used it before so i'm just confused.
Essentially could anyone tell me which API to use and link a good tutorial
I'm currently working on a GUI utilizing REACT (node.js backend) and I want to create a page that pulls repo file names from a specific Gitlab repo (my own repo). So I would press a button and up comes a sub-window showing the Repo data pulled. I intend to use this to grab the name of the file and store it for later use on another part of the GUI.
I am new to REACT and I'm still learning it. My question is how would I go about grabbing the information as far as coding goes? I imagine the Gitlab REACT API would be what I want to use for starters. I've seen videos where they create a page to search data from different repos such as Giblab users, but I could not find the same for searching for repo file structures.
Thanks for any help.
I am working on integrating a 2sxc content WebAPI feed into a ReactJS application.
I have managed to get a JSON feed of data into the application, and am in the process of mapping out the data.
I'm wondering what the best practice would be to "resolve" a URL which is coming through as a DNN Page/ Tab ID.
Below I will showcase the various points this is referenced...
First the Setup of the entity / data types...
Then this is an example entry with the data filled out... The page link / URL is set up to point to another internal page on the DNN website:
Finally you can see this data item come through as a JSON feed via the 2sxc API:
What is the best way to convert this piece of data into a URL which can be used in a SPA type application?
There isn't any "server-side" code going on, just reading a JSON feed on the client side...
My initial idea would be to parse this piece of data in JS, to extract the number then use something like this:
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/tabid/85/default.aspx
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/default.aspx?tabid=85
I was hoping someone with more experience would be able to suggest a better / cleaner approach.
Thanks in advance
If you were server-side in Razor you'd be doing something like this:
#using DotNetNuke.Common
View List
XXXX = Dnn.Tab.TabID or define a string with the tab id you want
I seem to have a vague memory that I saw somewhere that Daniel (2sxc) has a way to use Globals.NavigateUrl() or similar on the client side, but I have no idea where or if I did see that.
The Default.aspx?tabid=xx format will certainly work, as it's the oldest DNN convention and is still used in fallbacks. The urls aren't nice, but it's ok.
The reason you're seeing this is because the query doesn't perform the automatic lookup with the AsDynamic(...) does for you. There is an endpoint to look them up, but they are not official, so they could change and therefor I don't want to suggest that you use them.
So if you really want a nicer url, you should either see if DNN has a REST API for this, or you could create a small own 2sxc-api endpoint (in the api folder) just to look that up, then using the NavigateURL. Would be cool if you shared your work.
I'm pretty new to react and building out a little prototype using Firebase as a backend. One of the primary functionalities involves a user writing a post in an editor, which is saved to firebase. On submit in the editor, I am trying to create a new standalone page for the post with the firebase uid as the ending part of the new unique URL.
The problem I'm having is figuring out a way to create the new page on submit. I haven't been able to find any documentation for a similar problem like this specific to react or firebase, and was just wondering on a high-level what a good approach to executing this might be? Thanks
The newly launched Firebase Hosting + Cloud Functions integration can help here. The first bullet point in the documentation looks like it describes your use case exactly.
You also mentioned React. There is a handy sample project showing how to implement an isomorphic React app with Firebase.
I was wondering if anyone could help me at all.
I posted a previous question in regards to this title but I didn't receive much of a response (probably due to lack of information).
I started out with an Ionic Application and built the view files using state URLS to navigate from page to page in the WWW folder. I've then created corresponding controllers for the view files, for basic calls and functionality that I want my app to do in the front-end via Ionic.
My question is how do I setup MongoDB + Mongoose so I can have access to the models I have created?
I have scoured the internet but to no avail, I mean I know there is no set way to define a model within this type of application but some general guidance would be really appreciated.
I understand that when building an application with Angular you're essentially building 2 applications, the front-end where your CSS, JS and HTML goes with the front-end frameworks on top of them.
Then the backend application that runs the server, stores data and runs the business logic. This is where I have created the User Schema model for my application and have inserted a document into my database via the MongoDB shell whilst running mongod.
However I also created a users.js in another models folder in my front-end where I'm returning a resource following a url with either a get, save, query, remove or delete.
First of all I would like to say I'm relatively new to building mobile applications so this may even be entirely wrong and secondly up to this point I get lost as to what to do in my application.
I have tried setting up an express server in my app.js file and I can connect to it via my terminal as it is listening on the port number, but in the browser it is coming up with cannot /GET.
If you need any more information please feel free to ask, I know I haven't really gone into any technicals, but I'm really not sure even if I'm asking the right questions to begin with.
Thank you in advance.
