SFDX Authorize an Org failed to run - salesforce

When running the VSC>SFDX command "SFDX: Authorize an Org", I am getting the error: "SFDX: Authorize an Org failed to run" (I am using VSC on a Mac).
VSC>Terminal>Output displays the following messages:
Starting SFDX: Authorize an Org
20:03:10.886 sfdx force:auth:web:login --setalias DEV --instanceurl https://test.salesforce.com --setdefaultusername
/Users/eduardo/.local/share/sfdx/client/bin/sfdx: line 16: /Users/eduardo/.local/share/sfdx/client/bin/../7.132.0-6621068/bin/sfdx: No such file or directory
20:03:10.912 sfdx force:auth:web:login --setalias DEV --instanceurl https://test.salesforce.com --setdefaultusername
ended with exit code 1
Any idea of how can I possibly resolve this issue?

You can try running it in your terminal :
$ yarn install --network-timeout 1000000
And also try to clear the cache by running the below cmd
$ yarn cache clean
$ yarn // to install dependencies, no need for "yarn install"

Try to NOT run build on Azure. Do this by answering NO when you publish.
Have you already made the settings to build on Azure (answered yes) .. undo by deleting the following files
.vscode\settings.json
.deployment
Create the file .yarnrc, and write into file:
network-timeout 1000000
Save file & deploy your app with the file

First of all not able to write the title again and again showing issue please

I was trying to create react app but again and again npm update check failed issue was comming so i tried a lot of solutions to fix this error but none of them worked. And i am using a windows 10 pc
First of all Reinstall NodeJS, If problem is still there then follow the following steps:
Following is the answer from github
Fix for windows, I got this message :
npm update check failed Try running with sudo or get access to the
local update config store via sudo chown -R $USER:$(id -gn $USER)
C:\Users.config
so I went on to C:\Users.config and deleted the
"configstore" folder. once I done this, next time a ran npm start, the
folder was re-generated, and error stopped

cordova platform add android#8.0.0 --verbose exited with exit code 1.
Even including --verbose doesnt give any more insights into whats went wrong! Any clues on resolving this?

Error: EPERM: operation not permitted, open "C"

I am getting following error while running a build definition.
I tried to give read/write permission by right clicking the Builds directory, but after running the build using build definition the permissions get reset.
The files get created by calling "gulp" command from a post script bat file.
How to get rid of this error?
I was wondering if it's related to the npm install issue. Please refer this npm install fails on Windows with "EPERM, operation not permitted" for more details.

Cloud9 error when running project "Error retrieving pid file"

I have been playing around with the Cloud9 web-based IDE learning PHP
Today I went to run my project, and was presented with this error:
(20014)Internal error: AH00058: Error retrieving pid file /home/ubuntu/lib/apache2/run/apache2.pid
AH00059: Remove it before continuing if it is corrupted.
I have since been able to migrate my work using XAMPP, but would like to resolve my Cloud9 issue. Does anyone know how to resolve this in the Cloud9 environment?
Well, I feel rather dumb...resolved the issue myself by using Cloud9's terminal to navigate to the directory and then removed the corrupt file.
I got Same type problem & solution as follows. Hope someone may helpfull
Problem:
Started apache2
(20014)Internal error: AH00058: Error retrieving pid file
/home/ubuntu/lib/apache2/run/apache2.pid
AH00059: Remove it before continuing if it is corrupted.
Solution:
sudo rm /home/ubuntu/lib/apache2/run/apache2.pid then
sudo /home/ubuntu/lib/apache2/run/apache2.pid restart
