Is there is a way to grab the Resource Monitor notifications history in Snowflake? We would like to track and analyze alerts sent by Snowflake Resource Monitor.
Currently there isn't an account usage view that supplies this to my knowledge, but you might have to write something custom to support this using metering history views I would guess.
Also, add this as a desired capability to Snowflake's ideas page

I was going through the integration documents available for snowflake & service now. But, all documents are oddly focussed on sf consuming snow data for analytics. Didn't find anything related to creating tickets for failures at snowflake. Is it possible?
It's not about the monitoring & notification aspect of snowflake but connecting with service now and raise a ticket for query failures (tasks,sp etc.)
Any ideas?
There's no functionality like that as of now. I can recommend you open an Idea for it and if enough customers want it our Product Management will review it.
For the Snowpipe, we found a way to use it. We send the error message to SNS and then we can do a Lambda function to call the Rest API of ServiceNow to create a ticket.
For Task, we find that it is possible to use External Functions to notify to AWS whenever the Task fails, but we haven’t implemented it.
Email is a simple way. You need to determine how your ServiceNow instance is processing emails. We implemented incident creation from Azure App Insights based on emails.
In ServiceNow find the Inbound Action you need to process the email or make one.

We have a Health Information system where about 75+ users login to the system from different healthcare facilities and register patients for different health care services. I wanted to create aggregated data dashboard using google data studio for specific health facility where they can see ONLY details related to the their institution. Is there way to create such customized dashboard in data studio ?

Add a filter to the table. See attachment #1.
Set up parameters for your filter as shown in attachment #2. Click Save.
As a result you will see, that your table shows data limited to one facility. See result here.
Repeat the process for all facilities on separate reports.
I am creating an AdminUI for my users where I set all the permission. As part of the requirements, every time that a user logins on my IdentityServer I need to set some default permissions, but those are handle on my Admin application. Which is the best way to raise an event to let that application that a user was created on the IdentityServer?
The simplest is i think to create a simple WebApi in IdentityServer that returns the latest users and then let the other application poll this API every X seconds. In that way the system is cleanly decoupled. Perhaps expose the data as a a RSS XML document or a JSON list of items.
There is a built in eventing model in IdentityServer that you could use and push notifications to the Admin application. But push is a bit more complicated to get right, especially how to deal with all the failre/error cases.
I's suggest to add a custom event sink to process UserLoginSuccessEvent or any other event you need, here is list of all builtin events. Find their code here.
In the custom sink as suggested in the other answer you can call an API on admin app to inform it about changes.

I think to keep two applications decoupled you better to setup a service-bus for simple implementation a sub/pub mechanism. when any user complete registration(or any other actions),then as mentioned in another answer handle the events and add message. admin UI should subscribed before to receive these messages with some information to create a user related data.
We are working to publish more data to our Active Directory address book.
We would like to know if there are any strategies to monitor when users or applications perform an LDAP query against Active Directory to read data.
How would we configure our domain controllers to log these sorts of events?
Is monitoring these types of LDAP queries even achievable through Windows Event Logs?
An example of a query we would like monitored or logged is when an account pulls a list of all User objects in Active Directory.

You can use Wireshark to capture the LDAP requests and report from there, if your requests are encrypted you will have to configure Wireshark accordingly
An alternative would be to use Active Directory Collector sets in Performance Monitor as explained in this article which seems to show LDAP queries, but the article gets technical fast!
I'd like to monitor a users gmail account for new messages and take an appropriate action. Is there a way to fetch the history events for just new messages but NOT for things like starring an email or changing its labels, etc.?
So I ended up using messages.list and storing the timestamp of the most recent message. Then on subsequent calls to messages.list I'd supply a query of "after:theMostRecentTimestampIKnowOf" to find new messages since the last time we synced.
Another route I've seen done, is if you have the ability to add a filter (e.g. user's can do that, or use the Google Admin SDK for Google Apps users, or do it through HTML/DOM hacking) then you can simply setup a filter to apply a label to all new messages. Then just messages.list(labelId=THAT_LABEL) when you do your polling (and remove it after you process them).
There is not any ability now to filter history based on change type, though it's something that would be nice to provide at some point.
