I was able to get realpath by running:
brew install coreutils

What is the output from 'sudo /opt/local/bin/port diagnose'? And is there some reason that you haven't got '/opt/local/bin' in your PATH?

######## update 2
I was under the impression that anything on pypi can be downloaded with pip. like here https://pypi.org/project/lalsuite/.
Below is just in a regular cmd not using conda
C:\Users\jack.flavell>"C:\Users\jack.flavell\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python37\Scripts\pip.exe" install lalsuite
ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement lalsuite (from versions: none)
ERROR: No matching distribution found for lalsuite
WARNING: You are using pip version 20.1.1; however, version 22.2.2 is available.
You should consider upgrading via the 'c:\users\jack.flavell\appdata\local\programs\python\python37\python.exe -m pip install --upgrade pip' command.
... apparently not ...
should things be available on pip if i find them on pypi?
turns out it doesnt work on windows,i need linux

Docker: Stderr:fatal error: runtime: out of memory on AWS Elasticbeanstalk

Each time I am trying to build and deploy my React Project on AWS Elastic Beanstalk using Docker, I am getting this error:
Stderr:fatal error: runtime: out of memory
The project is the basic react project and nothing more, serving it via nginx. What might be the reason of this error? And how do I resolve it. Please note, I have emptied my S3 bucket and have restarted the appServer too, to try and resolve any unnecessary memory or cache use. And I am able to successfully build and run this file locally. The logs are as follows:

Error: failed to build docker image: Command /bin/sh -c docker build -t aws_beanstalk/staging-app /var/app/staging/ failed with error exit status 2. Stderr:fatal error: runtime: out of memory
You docker image does not enough memory allocated:
In the ElasticBeanstalk application environment Dockerrun.aws.json, you can increase the memory allocation ("memory": 80 to e.g. "memory": 100):
"containerDefinitions": [
{
"name": "request_repeater",
"image": "my/image",
"essential": true,
"memory": 80, <- change this
Also, maybe you need to change the instance type. For example the t2.nano has a max memory of 0.5 GB
You can do this in Modify capacity settings when you are creating your application, or edit in Configuration > Capacity setting on the current env configuration.

Build job pulls repo and then starts to build the image but takes too long or ends in failure

I want to create a simple jenkins pipeline for my react app in order to see how the concept works. Jenkins runs in a container in digitalocean and I want to be able to deploy in another container the react app. I have tested jenkins and its able to run docker commands.
I want to pull from gitlab the repo everytime the master code changes, then stop/remove the previous react container if it exists and finally build the app and deploy as a container. I also want to add that i want the docker with the react app to continue running until a new commit is made where the whole process repeats.
The build job in jenkins pull the repo and then starts to build the image but takes too long or ends in failure. I am guessing I messed up the Jenkinsfile so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I am no NPM / Node expert but between exit 1 one and that resource it reads as NPM is unable to make a connection to the remote resource. IE network / proxy issues. Can you boild the project locally (on your development machine)? Are you and the Jenkins machine on the same network / using the same access point?

Trouble with pslib installing gnudatalanguage

Today i spent some hours trying to install the gnuplotlanguage package with macports, with this result every time i tried

Error: The following dependencies were not installed: pslib
To report a bug, follow the instructions in the guide:
http://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets
Error: Processing of port gnudatalanguage failed
I tried to follow solutions found googling some of the lines that i thought could be causing this problem.
From the log file, lines like:
Can't run fetch on this port without elevated privileges. Escalating privileges back to root.
Can't run destroot under sudo without elevated privileges (due to mtree)
org.macports.destroot for port pslib returned: command execution failed
Error code: CHILDSTATUS 54561 2
I unfortunately found that none of the proposed solutions worked.
Has anyone found the same issue, and solved it? I really need GDL for a project.
