React-Simple-Map not scaling / Map is very small - reactjs

I am attempting to create an interactive map of my home country using react-simple-maps, I am facing an issue where the map I am rendering in is extremely small, I have tried using height/width and scale but I cannot seem to get the map to render larger than scale(8).
Minimum useable code recreation:

I edited your code, you can check solution here.
The problem vas that scale property in your JSON map data was too small.
If you want to make your map even more bigger change scale prop in ComposableMap.

Creating a responsive barchart in amchart v4

So I read on the docs that responsiveness for amchart 4 is still currently under development, and so perhaps that explains my difficulties here.
I'm trying to create a barchart that will shrink properly without distorting how the data is displayed. I've tried shrinking the parent container with an #media rule, but that distorted the data.
What's happening: When I shrink the view (i.e. open up inspector or run the web app on a smaller machine) half the category labels on the X-axis are disappearing for some strange reason. It seems to be every other label exactly is gone.
I've tried setting:
categoryAxis.minWidth = 0;
As an approximation of v3's minHorizontalGap property but of course they aren't the same.
I've tried setting the column width in hoped that that would influence the labels.
series.columns.template.width = am4core.percent(50);
And finally I've tried setting both the whole chart to responsive, and the categoryAxis:
categoryAxis.responsive.enabled = true;
But doing this gives me the following error which I can't find support for online:
bootstrap:114 Uncaught (in promise) Error: Loading chunk vendors~responsivedefaults failed.
I'm not sure what the problem is or how to resolve it, I can't believe they'd release a version of amcharts that didn't have responsivity in this age, and so I think it has to be something I'm doing wrong.
So I found the v4 equivalent to minHorizontalGap and that has solved the problem for me.
categoryAxis.renderer.minGridDistance = 60;
It's as simple as that. I still don't know why responsive.enabled doesn't work, but this is a satisfactory solution.

Render part of page to file

How can I make InDesign render a region of a page, as it would be rendered when exporting the whole file?
I know I can render a PageItem using the exportFile function, but this will ignore any other PageItems sharing the same region.
My current solution is to make a new document the size of the region of interest, with a copy of each PageItem whose coordinates fall into that region. It’s very inelegant, and it seems it cannot be done without the user seeing windows meaningless to them come and go.
Another approach I can think of is to export the whole spread containing the region, then crop the resulting file using something like ImageMagick. But I’d still prefer to be able to render only the region I need, if possible.
You can open the InDesing document without showing its UI as well.
app.open(filepath, false);
and while closing the doc, simple use
doc.close(SaveOptions.NO);
You anyways don't need to save that doc on disk.
This will let you have the document open without showing its UI at all.
I did something like this recently. Here are my steps:
duplicate all spread items and group them
make a frame with a proper size/position
cut and paste the group into this frame
export the frame as PNG
If you need another region on this spread you don't need to repeat all the steps, you can change size and position of the frame and to export it again.
There is a limitation: master page items will be omitted.

React native text issue

I was just creating app calculate user amount with some and display into text.Issue I facing when user amount is too long the result in the text splits like for example result amount is like Rs 7004505400089090760
it display in Text like Rs 70
045054000890760 splits amount like this i have to show in single in react native.guys pls help me. I have tried PixelRatio also if there is any possible to reduce size dynamically in react native?
The most sophisticated approach in case of amount would be to round this off for user experience and from the perspective of shortening it , you would have to reduce the font size of the text and one more way to cut the text in an elegant manner would be using http://facebook.github.io/react-native/releases/0.46/docs/text.html#ellipsizemode
this would just add '...' in place to let user know that text is truncated due to space.

Online Maps (google, nokia)

Is it possible to highlight a list of countries with a different colors?
I need to display some countries' statistics on the world map.
Now I use an image and fill a region with color (calculated for each country) by country's coordinates. It's a simple solution and it works well. But now I need to specify the countries' name too (and I think it's not the last customization).
There is a polygon solution, but it uses an array of coordinates. I don't think it's a suitable solution to highlight countries's territory.
I haven't found a solution yet. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Highlighting countries or regions to support statistics is known as Choropleth Mapping
, but unfortunately there usually isn't direct library support for Choropleth maps bundled into an online map API. This means you'll have to create your own framework, but fortunately it is possible to create one - I wrote an example using jQuery + HERE Maps to
answer the question here
Updated WKT solution now available
Access to KML shapes is no longer required, since the Geocoder API now offers an IncludeShapes attribute which returns the shape of a country in WKT format. A WKT parser can be found here.
A simple WKT choropleth example can be found here.
KML Base solution
For any framework you will need to have a file holding the boundaries of the countries or regions you need. The example uses a KML file, but you could also start with polygons if you had them. Country borders are a political minefield, which is the reason I guess most online mapping APIs steer clear of them. As a hint: try starting with something like http://geocommons.com/overlays/119819 and simplify it as much as possible to speed up the rendering- many small wiggles in the coast lines and small outlying islands are unnecessary.
Of course you could also try searching for "create choropleth map" from a search engine of your choice and use an tool to create a static image for your data (potentially at several zoom levels) and then use this as the basis of an map tile overlay. This requires a lot more work up front, but would push all the calculations server side and hence be faster to display.
Working example can be found on GitHub here
You could put the country's name into the image. It's not that difficult to place text into an image. The only tricky bit is if you are using tiles, you need to deal with names that cross tile boundaries by drawing the name once for each tile.

How do I add an "enviroment" to my scene in 3ds MAX?

I'm Currently working on a scene and i cant seem to find infomation as to how to make a setting for my scen. Its basically a street with buildings on either sides. about 500m long.
I want to put it into a city "enviroment" for animation. Also there will be camera movements so i dont think simply adding an image as a background will work. what i want to know is, Is there a a way to achieve what i want without actually building a small city?
any help or a pointer in the right direction would be great.
thanks in advance
A cubemap might work. http://wiki.polycount.com/CubeMap
There are applications which will generate a city for you, based on criteria you enter. You can enter the building types, sizes etc. I've used one called City Engine - I used the built in wizards to create this but you can create one from scratch even specifying the road layouts: Youtube Video
3ds max has predefined models within it's system,
For example a tree:
