Can't play godot game as a software in pc - export

I made a game in Godot and exported it in release mode in Desktop as exe file.
But, it also created a .pck file and a highscore.data file.
I want to create it as an installable application and I don't want the highscore file in front.
What can I do? I also want to publish it.
I am new in Godot and this is my first game.

Installers are usually wrappers, aside applications that extract the main app to specific directory. Godot doesn't provide functions to create one. If you really need installer, you can write one or just generate with tools like NSIS, Inno Setup and others...
Separate .pck file can be embeded by enabling "Embed Pck" option in export settings.

I'm not sure what highscore.data file is, but it looks like something creating from code. Use user:// prefix (like user://highscore.data) for file paths to create them in app_userdata directory (more in docs).
So if you use this two options, you will get a single .exe file with game.

Changing Directory of STM32CubeIDE Projects

When I create a new STM32CubeIDE project, it default saves it to my /Documents directory. This isn't too bad except I like to have a folder for each application so that it isn't just a bunch of files. I tried creating a folder called "STM32CubeIDE" to save new projects to, put it gives me an error: "overlaps the location of another project".
I've done some googling and found that this issue also exists in Eclipse (which makes sense) but couldn't solve my problem from those solutions.
I was also wondering if there is a way to move all of my existing projects to this newly created folder? Last time I tried, the IDE flipped out on me and couldn't find my stuff.
First of all, do not call your folder "STM32CubeIDE" if this already exists. Use a different name, because this is normally used by default and it may cause issues (probably the reason why you are getting that error).
When you install or update STM32CubeIDE it gives you the option to choose where you want your default folder to be. For example, my default folder is
C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\STM32CubeIDE\workspace_1.6.0\
Now if you want to use different folders for different projects, there are two options:
You can Export your project (application) to a desired folder and then Import it using the File tab. This is a good method if you want to make backups, or just want to make sure that all relevant files are transferred correctly to avoid "missing file" issues.
The other method (my favourite) is to simply copy you project folders and paste them to a different folder, wherever you want to put them. Then you simply open STM32CubeIDE, go to File > Open Projects from File System... and chose your project. You might get a pop-up about software compatibility issues (if you made an update), etc. but this should open up your project and show it in the Project Explorer.

Standalone Executable with Kivy?

I recently created my first Windows package for a small app I made using Kivy. I have a few questions with regard to running the app.
First, is there a way to get the app to run without a record log popping up in another window? It is just ugly and doesn't seem like something I want in my final "product".
Second, how can I run the app from my desktop? Right now I have a shortcut placed on my desktop, but if I wanted to send my app to a friend, how could I send it to them where they can simply have an icon on their desktop to click on?

The entire process is done in 2 steps.
Step 1: Make the windows executable files (not Python files)
You'll need to use PyInstaller to create EXE for Windows. Here's the link

You will notice a new folder created where all the files are kept along with the application executable file.
Step 2: Pack these into a Single Installer File (EXE you are looking for)
You can use a third part software like InstallForge to create a single package installer for these files.
This EXE file can be share with anyone and they can install the program just like any other windows software

How deal with FileChooser in GTK with static compilation

I have to create one-file (.exe) program.
In this program user can choose directory from his computer.
I create program in order of http://www.tarnyko.net/en/?q=node/31 and it run well.
But when I invoke FileChoser (click on button) I got this error
GLib-GIO-ERROR No GSettings schemas are installed on the system
Response of Tarnyko to this issue is in coment on webpage - this is known "bug" with static compiling.
How can I work around this?
On the one hand I have to have one-file.exe.
On the other hand I realy do not want create "sophisticated" FileChooser on my own... is there any option to deal with this?
My ideas:
1 - Call native File chooser of OS (windows)
2 - Create file chooser on my own - if it is not "much hard" in gtk
I do not know how to do either of this.
Sorry for duplicating - probably succes solution is in answer form "ebassi" here GLib-GIO-ERROR**: No GSettings schemas are installed on the system (not tested yet)
Settings schemas (which are used in GTK in more places than just the file selector widget) cannot be statically linked into a binary: they have to be installed in a well known location (controllable via the $XDG_DATA_DIRS environment variable) and they have to be compiled into a cache.
GTK's dependencies like Pango and GDK-Pixbuf also use ancillary files and loadable modules that are not strictly compatible (unless you're willing to spend time on it) with static linking.
The usual recommendation for only providing a single executable for your application is to have a self-extracting installer that contains all the installed files necessary to running a GTK application, and avoid static linking.
I don't think it's possible to create just one .exe file (without any other files) with GTK+. Maybe only when you recode the GTK and it's dependencies - which is not an easy task to do.
The best solution I found is to put all schemas (and also icons for your GTK+ app) in the same location where your .exe file is placed:
EXE_LOCATION\program.exe
// For icons:
EXE_LOCATION\share\icons\hicolor...
// For schemas
EXE_LOCATION\share\glib-2.0\schemas
Then you deliver these files together with your .exe file and with all needed .dll files.
About the native file chooser in GTK+: It also needs the schemas - at least on Windows OS.

How to import files from computer?

I have been making a simple program on my computer using Dr. Java, and I would like to know how to move it to my android on AIDE. I can easily get the files onto the android, I just can't figure out how to make AIDE compile and run them.

Using My Files or the file browser you prefer, move your entire project directory into a folder call AppProjects. Should be fairly easy to open from there. Also you will want to make sure the directory is set up correctly. If all else fails, you can always recreate the project using AIDE and copy your java files into the java folder and XML files into the layout folder, and your images and icons into the drawable folders. These folders are automatically generated by AIDE so you don't have to create them.
You can copy the source files normally as you do with other files but Desktop's Java is not always same as Android's. So it needs some more coding and editing to make the code work as you want. But if the code is so simple, it can work.

Icons from remote files

I have started coding an FTP client application (for fun). I’m trying to represent remotely hosted files with icons. For example, let’s say I’m browsing the root folder of an FTP server (/) and want to display the Backup.zip file with the icon association from that client operating system. On some systems, this may be the windows compression icon and other operating systems this may be WinZip or WinRAR icons.
I have the client browsing local files with the SHGetFileInfo() function. This works great with files that are local, however, this function requires the physical file in order to retrieve the associated icon. So, this will not work with remotely hosted files. I have found some samples of loading icons given a file extension, and this is really where the question comes in... What would be the best strategy to get icons associated to remote files?
Go to the registry every time and look up extension to icon associations
Create 1 byte files with each extension and use the SHGetFileInfo() function for remote files (using local 1 byte files as association for remote files)
Other strategies???

I suggest that you don't go to the registry every time: go if you need to, but if you've already been for a given filetype then remember/cache that result (within your program) and reuse it.
Use the procedure here from a previous Stack Overflow question on the same idea and uses the registry instead of an actual file.
