how can i configure out the specific project on GCP console? - google-app-engine

I'm figured out the project is visible on gcloud via cl.
I did check by using the following...
$ gcloud config list
[core]
account = hogehoge#gmail.com
disable_usage_reporting = False
project = hogehoge_project
Your active configuration is: [hogehoge_project]
But the project is not shown on GCP console...
I did log in same gcp account both gcp console and gcloug cl.
please advise what i should check it out...
i am going to configure the project setting.

hogehoge_project is an invalid project ID. _ are not permitted.
Here is the requirement: They must start with a lowercase letter and can have lowercase ASCII letters, digits or hyphens. Project IDs must be between 6 and 30 characters.
It's unclear how this value was set in the configuration but it's not valid and it can't match a GCP project.
I recommend you gcloud config unset project to remove the setting and follow #nurgasemetey advice to gcloud project list to enumerate all the projects that are available to hogehoge#gmail.com.

Getting: Could not detect any platform in the source directory. for Deploying React on Azure Static site

Im deploying on azure static web app but getting the error, which says:
Could not detect any platform in the source directory.
Error: Could not detect the language from repo.
i tried changing the app_location to /src but still showing could not detect the language from repo.
# For more information regarding Static Web App workflow configurations, please visit: https://aka.ms/swaworkflowconfig
app_location: "/src" # App source code path
api_location: "" # Api source code path - optional
output_location: "/build" # Built app content directory - optional
Glad #Bhanuvidh Mansinghani, that the given reference worked to resolve your issue.
I have found the similar issue from the GitHub of mslearn-staticwebapp repository that states could not detect the language from repository in static web app workflow.
Many customers faced the similar issue and fixed with the following steps:
Select the location and output folder for the application that is built for production environment and select custom option on step 5 instead of selecting the language.
Now, redeploy it after making the changes to existing one.
Also, check one of the workarounds given by the gcoines-uoc that to check the path of the application’s folder within the .yml file and had given the project folder structure based on hierarchy levels.

Intellij Keeps Telling Me "App Engine SDK path is not correct.'

Trying to deploy my first Google Cloud Java app using Intellij. I've followed and read so many threads and have gotten absolutely nowhere on what is seemingly one of the simplest steps of getting this set up. I have installed gcloud CLI and followed the instructions here. After installing, I run the commands 'gcloud components update' and 'gcloud components install app-engine-java'. I see the folder located in both 'C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\Google\Cloud SDK\google-cloud-sdk\platform\google_appengine' and 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Cloud SDK\google-cloud-sdk\platform\google_appengine'. I installed as multi user after hours of trying to get the single user install working, so now I have both. When in Intellij I am creating a new Google App Engine project under Java EE, it asks to specify a Google app engine SDK. There are no options so I choose to select the path. I have tried both above paths and it only tells me 'App Engine SDK path is not correct'. What am I doing wrong?? The steps seem ridiculously simple and it just doesn't work.
You stopped at the general google app engine folder
You need to specify the full path to the java-sdk folder, see the image in this question.

Permission when deploying gcloud app engine

I'm trying to deploy an application, but gcloud informs me that I don't have permissions, even though I am the main user of the account with the Owner rule, see: Deploy console
My gcloud auth list:
Credentialed Accounts
ACTIVE ACCOUNT
* hi#myemail.com
myproject#appspot.gserviceaccount.com
To set the active account, run:
$ gcloud config set account `ACCOUNT`
My gcloud init (default project is ok):
Welcome! This command will take you through the configuration of gcloud.
Settings from your current configuration [myproject] are:
core:
account: hi#myemail.com
disable_usage_reporting: 'False'
project: myproject
Pick configuration to use:
[1] Re-initialize this configuration [myproject] with new settings
[2] Create a new configuration
My IAM & Admin Permissions for project "myproject": IAM List
How to solve this problem? It is the only project in my account.
I think the issue is because you're trying to overwrite a deploy with version 2 that is stopped.
The message is very clear in your first image.
Traffic cannot be allocated to stopped version 2. Please ensure that traffic is only allocated to serving versions.
I'll suggest to check that the deployment in App Engine with version 2 is not stopped or deploy to a new version, for example just to test:
gcloud app deploy site.yaml --version=5165165

React native Google Signin Fail When i will build release apk

I will signin with google it's working but whenever I'll create release build it not working
GoogleErrorcode : DEVELOPERERROR
Please check if Google Play App Signing is enabled from the Google Play Console -> Release Management -> App Signing.
Please try below steps:
1] You have to copy the SHA1 from the 'App signing certificate' section and need to add it to the Firebase projects general settings section.
2] Afterward need to regenerate the json file and add it to the project.
3] Re-generate the apk and the error will get resolved.
If folks are still having this issue and have stumbled across this as i did. Here's what i figured out for my react native android firebase project
THERE ARE MULTIPLE SHA-1's TO ADD IN FIREBASE
1. SHA-1 For Release Variant
This is found in the Keystore file. You would have to add it to your Firebase Console Project Settings
a. Get release variant SHA-1 by running command below from you RN project root
$ cd android && ./gradlew signingReport
b. Add the release SHA-1 from here to your Firebase Console Project Settings
2.SHA-1 After you upload to google play store for testing / prod rollout
a .SHA-1 is found in the left nav of your google playstore console.
Setup -> App signing -> App signing key certificate
b. Add this to your Firebase Console Project Settings
for google sign in to work in testing / prod
Solved by adding release keystore SHA-1 to firebase console.
Use below command to create release SHA-1 and Add it to firebase console:
keytool -list -v -keystore {keystore_name} -alias {alias_name}
Note : Apk not need to create again.
Yesterday same problem occurred to me.
Google has released a new signing service in playstore publish console in which google will signin your app with his keystore. After signing , it will give you a new SHA which you have to add in your firebase account.
see the image for the better understanding
enter image description here
I have got a solution to this problem.
You have to put both SHA key i.e. SHA for debug Keystore file and SHA for release jks file, into the firebase project setting.
Go to: https://console.firebase.google.com/
Now choose your project
Click the setting button near Project Overview
Choose Project Setting
Enter both SHA1 (debug SHA1 and release SHA1) in SHA certificate fingerprint
Save it
Download the google-services.json file
Run npx react-native run-android --variant=release in terminal
It worked for me very well.
After than many time trying i got the solution.
In GoogleSignin.configure i was place android client it, that why i getting the error
Finally i will place the web client id(Here)
GoogleSignin.configure({
iosClientId: 'client ID',
webClientId: 'My Web client ID'
})
There is a new signing service from Google in the Playstore publish console, in which Google will sign your app with his keystore. After signing, it will give you a new SHA, which you need to connect to your Firebase account.
Go to Google play store ->
Release -> Setup -> App Integrity
Copy: SHA-1 certificate fingerprint from "App signing key certificate"
Add this into Firebase Project
Project Setting -> Select your app -> Add Fingerprints and Paste it here

Unable to deploy to App Engine with colon in project id

I have an older Google project account that all of my services live on which has a project id with the format domain.com:api-project-123456789123. I am in my project's working directory trying to execute appcfg.py -A domain.com:api-project-123456789123 -V v1 update . but all it tells me is This application does not exist (app_id=u'domain.com:api-project-123456789123').
If I create a new project in the Google Cloud Console and use the new ID, all works just fine.
I am aware that with certain Google services such as the Container Engine Registry, they have added support for these old ID's by allowing substitution of the : with a / but that does not work here.
How do I get this ID to work with App Engine?
Edit
It may be worth noting that in the console, going to the App Engine section shows the following error instead of the normal getting started text:
Try the domain with the numbers in the project id. Example:
domain-123456789123
Your command would be:
appcfg.py -A domain-123456789123 -V v1 update .
