I am trying to make a form which displays after clicking the button "Click to enter Observations". The same form should appear when the "Next Observation" Button is clicked. This should happen in a loop until I click the "Finish" Button.
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.6.9/angular.min.js"></script>
<body>
<div ng-app="myApp" ng-controller="myCtrl">
<form>
Vendor Name: <input type="text"> <br> <br>
Vendor Details: <textarea> </textarea> <br> <br>
<button ng-click="myFunc()">Click to enter Observations</button>
</form>
<div ng-show="showMe">
<br> <br> <form>
Detailed Observation <input type="text">
<button type="submit" ng-click="myFunc()"> Next Observation </button>
<button type="submit"> Finish </button>
</form>
</div>
</div>
<script>
var app = angular.module('myApp', []);
app.controller('myCtrl', function($scope) {
$scope.showMe = false;
$scope.myFunc = function() {
$scope.showMe = true;
}
});
</script>
</body>
</html>
If I understand you correctly, you don't need to change the UI (e.g. render the form again or something) but reset the form after every "next" click.
If so, my suggestion is to hold an array of observations. Clicking on "next" will push the input's value into this array and clear the input. Clicking on finish will do something (log currently) with the array.
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.6.9/angular.min.js"></script>
<body>
<div ng-app="myApp" ng-controller="myCtrl">
<form>
Vendor Name: <input type="text"> <br> <br>
Vendor Details: <textarea> </textarea> <br> <br>
<button ng-click="myFunc()">Click to enter Observations</button>
</form>
<div ng-show="showMe">
<br> <br> <form>
Detailed Observation <input type="text" ng-model="observation">
<button type="submit" ng-click="nextObservation()"> Next Observation </button>
<button type="submit" ng-click="finish()"> Finish </button>
</form>
</div>
</div>
<script>
var app = angular.module('myApp', []);
app.controller('myCtrl', function($scope) {
$scope.observations = [];
$scope.showMe = false;
$scope.myFunc = function() {
$scope.showMe = true;
}
$scope.nextObservation = function() {
if ($scope.observation) {
$scope.observations.push($scope.observation);
$scope.observation = '';
}
}
$scope.finish = function() {
$scope.nextObservation();
console.log($scope.observations);
}
});
</script>
</body>
</html>
Update
In order to keep the previous values but add a new one on click on "next", you can use that array with ng-repeat to render the ui based on that array. Notice that you need track by $index this time to avoid entities duplications (For more info: https://stackoverflow.com/a/26518721/863110)
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.6.9/angular.min.js"></script>
<body>
<div ng-app="myApp" ng-controller="myCtrl">
<form>
Vendor Name: <input type="text"> <br> <br> Vendor Details: <textarea> </textarea> <br> <br>
<button ng-click="myFunc()">Click to enter Observations</button>
</form>
<div ng-repeat="observation in observations track by $index">
<br> <br>
<form>
Detailed Observation <input type="text" ng-model="observations[$index]">
<button type="submit" ng-click="nextObservation($index)" ng-if="$last"> Next Observation </button>
<button type="submit" ng-click="finish()" ng-if="$last"> Finish </button>
</form>
</div>
</div>
<script>
var app = angular.module('myApp', []);
app.controller('myCtrl', function($scope) {
$scope.observations = [];
$scope.myFunc = function() {
$scope.observations.push('');
}
$scope.nextObservation = function($index) {
$scope.observations[$index]
if ($scope.observations[$index]) {
$scope.observations.push('');
}
}
$scope.finish = function() {
console.log($scope.observations);
}
});
</script>
</body>

I am creating a to-do list in angular js. I am trying to access the form in the controller. However, when I click the add new button, it doesn't add to the list.
There is also no error displaying which shows to me that the function probably isn't doing anything.
How do I get the add new button to add to the list.
Here is the index.html:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
<h1>To do List</h1>
<script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.2.1.min.js"></script>
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.6.9/angular.min.js"></script>
<script src="app.js"></script>
<meta charset="UTF-8">
<title>Title</title>
</head>
<body ng-app="myApp" ng-controller="todoCtrl as vm">
<form name="vm.myform" ng-submit="toDoAdd()">
<input type="text" ng-model="todoInput" size="50" placeholder="Add New">
<input type="submit" ng-click="vm.toDoAdd " value="Add New">
<br>
<div ng-repeat="x in todoList">
<input type="checkbox" ng-model="x.done"><span ng-bind="x.todoText">
</span>
</div>
<p>
<button ng-click="remove()">Remove marked</button></p>
</form>
</body>
</html>
Here is app.js:
var app = angular.module('myApp', []);
app.controller('todoCtrl',['$scope' ,function ($scope) {
$scope.toDoList = [{todoText: "check", done: false}];
function todoAdd() {
var vm=this;
vm.toDoAdd=toDoAdd;
$scope.toDoAdd = function () {
$scope.toDoList.push({todoText: $scope.todoInput, done: false});
$scope.todoInput = "";
}
}
}])
I have made some changes to your application:
<body ng-app="myApp" ng-controller="todoCtrl">
<form ng-submit="toDoAdd()">
<input type="text" ng-model="todoInput" size="50" placeholder="Add New">
<input type="submit" value="Add New">
<br>
<div ng-repeat="x in toDoList">
<input type="checkbox" ng-model="x.done" /><span ng-bind="x.todoText">
</span>
</div>
<p>
<button type="button" ng-click="remove()">Remove marked</button></p>
</form>
</body>
var app = angular.module('myApp', []);
app.controller('todoCtrl',['$scope' ,function ($scope) {
$scope.toDoList = [{todoText: "check", done: false}];
$scope.toDoAdd = function () {
$scope.toDoList.push({todoText: $scope.todoInput, done: false});
$scope.todoInput = "";
}
}])
There are two ways of using controllers, one with $scope and other with controller as vm in this case for simplicity I am using $scope you can read more about the other notation in this guide
var app = angular.module('myApp', []);
app.controller('myCtrl',function($scope){
//Adding New Check# and Check amount Text Boxes
$scope.texs = [{id: 'tex', value: 'tex1'}];
$scope.add = function() {
var newItemNo = $scope.texs.length+1;
$scope.texs.push({'id':'tex'+newItemNo});
};
//Removing Last Check# and Check amount Text Boxes
$scope.remove = function() {
var lastItem = $scope.texs.length-1;
$scope.texs.splice(lastItem);
};
});
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.4.8/angular.min.js"></script>
<body>
<div ng-app="myApp" ng-controller="myCtrl">
<div class="col-md-12">
<div class="col-md-6">
<div ng-repeat="tex in texs">
<div class="form-group">
<label>tex:</label>
<div class="col-md-5">
<input type="number" class="form-control" id="tex.id" ng-model="tex.id" maxlength="6"></input>
</div>
<button ng-show="$last"
ng-click="remove()">-</button>
</div>
</div>
<button type="button"
ng-click="add()">Add More</button>
</div>
</div>
<div class="col-md-6">
<label>{{tex.id}}</label>
</div>
</body>
</html>
Above i mentioned my code. here If i did not use the ng-repeat="tex in texs",the label tex and texNo is displaying the value once i entered the values in input. But If I did use the ng-repeat="tex in texs", the value is not displayed. I know the code is wrong,but what i want is If i click Add More and entered the values of the second tex and texNo, I want to display the both of values of tex and texNo in the Label.
please suggest me with something.
The tex.id contains a string tex whereas ng-model is expecting a number.
You can use dynamic keys and provide an initial value to it
Inside controller
$scope.texs = [{'id1': 1}];
$scope.add = function() {
var newItemNo = $scope.texs.length+1;
$scope.texs.push({['id'+newItemNo]:1});
};
Inside HTML
<div ng-repeat="tex in texs">
<div class="form-group">
<label>tex:</label>
<div class="col-md-5">
<input type="number" class="form-control" id="{{'id'+($index+1)}}" ng-model="tex['id'+($index+1)]" maxlength="6" />
</div>
<button ng-show="$last"
ng-click="remove()">-</button>
</div>
</div>
<button type="button"
ng-click="add()">Add More</button>
</div>
FIDDLE
So, you need to use:
$scope.texs = [{id: 'tex', value: 'tex1'}];
And in HTML:
<div class="form-group"">
<label>tex:</label>
<div class="col-md-5">
<input type="number" class="form-control" id="{{tex.id}}" ng-model="tex.id" maxlength="6"></input>
</div>
<button ng-show="$last"
ng-click="remove()">-</button>
</div>
<div class="form-group">
<label>tex No:</label>
<div col-md-5">
<input type="number" class="form-control" id="{{tex.value}}" ng-model="tex.value" maxlength="9"></input>
</div>
</div>
</div>
I'm new to Angular and Ionic and I have problem with getting value of input. I get "undefined". Here is my code:
.controller('myCtrl', function($scope) {
$scope.submit = function () {
console.log($scope.name);
}
}
<form ng-submit="submit()">
<input type="text" ng-model="name">
<button class="button">Send</button>
</form>
try this
<form>
<input type="text" ng-model="name">
<button ng-click="submit()" class="button">Send</button>
</form>
Try this code
<form ng-submit="submit()">
<input type="text" ng-model="FinalData.name" name="name">
<button class="button">Send</button>
</form>
And then in controller
$scope.FinalData={};
$scope.FinalData.name ="dasda";
$scope.submit = function(){
console.log($scope.FinalData.name);
}
Check with this example
angular.module('myApp', []).controller('myCtrl', function($scope) {
$scope.name = 'Hello World!';
});
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.6.4/angular.min.js"></script>
<body>
<div ng-app="myApp" ng-controller='myCtrl'>
<form ng-submit="submit()">
<input type="text" ng-model="name">
<button class="button">Send</button>
</form>
</div>
</body>
</html>
I'm seeing weird flickering when mousing over the ng-clip enhanced button. I've got the ng-clip enhanced button being shown/hid when the enclosing div is moused over. As the user moves the mouse over the button, it flickers. I'm assuming it's something to do with event handling between Zeroclipboard and the Angular code?
Here is a Plunker page displaying the issue: http://plnkr.co/4gFy9U
The code from Plunker:
<!doctype html>
<html>
<head>
<link href="//netdna.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.0.3/css/bootstrap.min.css" rel="stylesheet">
<script src="//cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/angular.js/1.3.14/angular.min.js"></script>
<script src="//cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/zeroclipboard/2.1.6/ZeroClipboard.min.js"></script>
<script src="//rawgit.com/asafdav/ng-clip/master/src/ngClip.js"></script>
</head>
<body>
<div ng-app="myapp">
<div class="container" ng-controller="myctrl" ng-mouseover="isHovering = true" ng-mouseout="isHovering = false">
<div class="page-header">
<h1>ngClip <small>example</small></h1>
</div>
<form>
<div style="background:red;" class="form-group">
<label >Copy #1</label>
<input type="text" class="form-control" placeholder="Enter text to copy" ng-model="copy1">
<button ng-if="isHovering" class="btn btn-default" clip-copy="copy1">Copy!</button>
</div>
<br/><br/><br/>
<textarea class="form-control" rows="3" placeholder="paste here"></textarea>
</form>
</div>
</div>
<script>
var myapp = angular.module('myapp', ["ngClipboard"]);
myapp.config(['ngClipProvider', function(ngClipProvider) {
ngClipProvider.setPath("//cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/zeroclipboard/2.1.6/ZeroClipboard.swf");
ngClipProvider.setConfig({
bubbleEvents: false
})
}]);
myapp.controller('myctrl', function ($scope) {
$scope.fallback = function(copy) {
window.prompt('Press cmd+c to copy the text below.', copy);
};
$scope.showMessage = function() {
console.log("clip-click works!");
};
});
</script>
</body >
</html>
I was also having this issue. I fixed by using ng-mouseenter on an outer div instead of using ng-mouseover and ng-mouseleave on an inner div instead of ng-mouseout. No flicker!
So:
<div ng-app="myapp" ng-mouseenter="isHovering = true">
<div class="container" ng-controller="myctrl" ng-mouseleave="isHovering = false">
<div class="page-header">
<h1>ngClip <small>example</small></h1>
</div>
<form>
<div style="background:red;" class="form-group">
<label >Copy #1</label>
<input type="text" class="form-control" placeholder="Enter text to copy" ng-model="copy1">
<button ng-if="isHovering" class="btn btn-default" clip-copy="copy1">Copy!</button>
</div>
<br/><br/><br/>
<textarea class="form-control" rows="3" placeholder="paste here"></textarea>
</form>
</div>
</div>
I am new at AngularJS and I am trying to figure out how to add and delete notes to the setup that I have created. I have tried a lot of different things but I cant figure out how to get it to work.
I have cleaned up my code so it should be easier to figure out.
Please take a look at the jsfiddle version or snippet of my code:
'use strict'
var app = angular.module('plunker', ['ui.sortable']);
app.controller('MainCtrl', function($scope) {
var i;
$scope.itemsList = {
items1: [],
items2: []
};
for (i = 0; i <= 5; i += 1) {
$scope.itemsList.items1.push({
'Id': i,
'Label': 'Item ' + i
});
}
$scope.sortableOptions = {
containment: '#sortable-container',
accept: function(sourceItemHandleScope, destSortableScope) {
return sourceItemHandleScope.itemScope.sortableScope.$id === destSortableScope.$id;
}
};
});
.as-sortable-item,
.as-sortable-placeholder {} #sortable-container {} .touch-mover {
float: right;
padding: 3px;
margin-top: 5px;
}
<html ng-app="plunker">
<head>
<script data-require="angular.js#1.2.x" src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.2.17/angular.min.js" data-semver="1.2.17"></script>
<script src="https://rawgithub.com/a5hik/ng-sortable/master/dist/ng-sortable.js"></script>
</head>
<body ng-controller="MainCtrl">
<div id="sortable-container">
<div class="form-actions">
<div class="input-append">
<form>
<input class="span3" size="16" type="text" placeholder="Add a note">
<button class="btn btn-success" type="button" ng-disabled="" ng-click="">
Add Note
</button>
</form>
</div>
</div>
<div class="sortable-row" as-sortable="sortableOptions" ng-model="itemsList.items1">
<div ng-repeat="item in itemsList.items1" class="simpel-fighter-input" as-sortable-item>
<input class="category-form textboxid" type="text" name="input" ng-model="item.Label" placeholder="Deltager1">
<div as-sortable-item-handle class="touch-mover">MOVE ME</div>
<a ng-click="" href>
<div class="touch-mover">DELETE</div>
</a>
<input class="category-form textboxid" style="float:right" type="text" name="input" ng-model="item.Label2" placeholder="Deltager2">
</div>
</div>
</div>
</body>
</html>
For adding a note just insert into your controller MainCtrl this function:
$scope.addNote = function() {
$scope.itemsList.items1.push({"Id" : $scope.itemsList.items1.length, "Label": "Item " + $scope.itemsList.items1.length})
}
and edit your form (add ng-model to input and ng-click function to button) like:
<input class="span3" size="16" type="text" ng-model="noteText" placeholder="Add a note">
<button class="btn btn-success" type="button" ng-disabled="" ng-click="addNote()">
Add Note
</button>
For deleting use in you controller something like
$scope.deleteNote = function(index) {
$scope.itemsList.items1.splice(index,1)
}
and attach this function to the tag "DELETE" like
ng-click="deleteNote($index)"
I hope this helps.
