I have 2 columns in my Excel File. First column is called Planned Q and has values separated by Comma. The second column is called Current Q and it has only one value.
As per below screen, I want to check if any of A2 value is in B2 value it should find/call a MATCH otherwise it is Mis-Match. How can I perform this task?

I am very new to SSIS and I am performing a task where I have to take the flat-file text document and then derive the columns with specific digit lengths. For eg, lines in the text document are:

I want to skip the null values here in order to take the value 112
how do write an expression for this?
For a non-null scenario, I can proceed with the same substring function but I want to handle these blank spaces or null values too.

You should use two derived column transformations in that scenario:
The first is to remove extra blank, you can use the following expression:
REPLACE([column 0]," ","")
If the word NULL is written as a text, you can use the following expression:
REPLACE(REPLACE([column 0]," ",""),"null","")
The second derived column transformation takes that output and split the lines into separate columns.
I have a list of item numbers.Some of them don't have details associated with them. I would like the list of item numbers that don't have info associated. they can be identified with #N/A error.

i am using this array formula to return the associated details. which are in column A

if the lookup can't find the associated item number in column a it returns blanks, otherwise it returns the associated data.
the ones that error, i need a list of those.
is there a formula or a vba macro to get this information?

As XORLX said: why you are using {values} as its picking items from column B?
Anyway you can change your formula with
=IFERROR(VLOOKUP(J12,A:H,{2,3,4,5,6,7,8},FALSE),"N/A")
So in case of error it will give N/A which you can later filter.
But I think you want result as in this pic

In my example I am looking for Joy which is in Row 2.
Now after finding Row 2 it will go and check 2nd Column B which is empty so it will go for 3rd C and so on and when will return the data from the 1st column and if find nothing then will return error.
On my first tab, I need to return the data from the second tab, columns A,B and C; only when the value of column A is greater than 0. I have pics to send but don't see a way to upload them. Currently using this formula, but have been unable to expand on it to get what I need.

Filter MSA Units and for columnA select all other than (Blanks). Copy ColumnsA:C of what remains visible into Daily Report Coversheet.
I am facing a problem. i have a huge data file in text format and the entries are in this format:
18 1 1471-213X-6-54-12 503 5.333333e-001 xyz
the First column range from 1-22 and first column and third column must not be duplicated. If duplicated values exists i want to remove them. I am working in Matlab.
I could not find any suitable stuff to solve this problem.
Anybody hint/help will highly be appreciated.

Here is a hint, suppose your first column is called f, and your third colum is called t.
you may be interested in the following commands:
[xxx,IA_f] = unique(f)
[xxx,IA_t] = unique(t)
[xxx,IA_tf] = unique([f t], 'rows')
Assuming that your data is in matrix'M' and you have selected IA as the proper index, you can do:
M_unique = M(IA,:)
I have a column filled with data in those rows and i would like to select the 1st row from that column but skipping the 2nd row and choosing the 3rd row after and insert them into an array.

Basically, i would want to select the first row, which is 153....282 and then select the 3rd row which is 30...1661 and repeat this process for all other rows accordingly. From there i would like to then insert those data into an array.
The source of these data are from a PostgreSQL database which i have imported into my workspace.

If I understand correctly, this should work:
output = data([1 3],:);
This selects the 1st and 3rd rows of data, and adds them to a new variable called output. To select every odd row, use the colon notation and the end keyword, like this:
output = data(1:2:end, :);
This starts at the first row selects every 2nd row until the end.
One solution would be to dump it all to a text file and then use importdata() which will allow you to specify the delimiter character, as in data = importdata(file.txt,':'). This will give you a MATLAB array data full of numbers, which you can then process as you please.
Let's assume that after you import your data, it is a cell array of strings, called A (this is what it appears to be in your question, because of the single quotes on each line).
First, let's get rid of the the letters appearing in the data, since we probably want just the numbers. We do this with a regular expression replacement:
A = cellfun(#(x) regexprep(x, '[^\d:]', ''), A,'UniformOutput',0);
Next, we use the strread function to parse each line into an array of integers
B = cellfun(#(x) strread(x, '%d:', -1), A, 'UniformOutput',0);
Now each element of B is the array form of the corresponding element of A. So you can get the 3rd row, for example with
B{3}
