Bulk Insert failed when executed from remote client but success on local - sql-server

Please find the diagram as below for my issue:
I have 3 servers in the same domain, there is a SQL Server instance A (it's windows service run under domain\User1), In this instance, we have a Stored Procedure used for BULK INSERT a text file from a network shared folder in server C, the domain\User1 has full permissions on this folder.
My issue is: The Stored Procedure runs ok (green arrow) when connecting by SSMS in its (server A). But it failed when I change to SSMS in server B (log in by the same domain\User1 to the same Instance A). The error is "Access denied" to the text file (red arrow). Does the client have a role in this? I think the client does not matter, the file reading is done from the server (by the user that run Instance A service)
Note: If I connect Instance A from SSMS B with SQL Logon User (not windows account), the stored procedure works fine.
Could anyone give me some advice and sorry for my bad English

I believe you are running into a double hop issue. I searched everywhere for the BULK INSERT permission model and finally found this https://dba.stackexchange.com/questions/189676/why-is-bulk-insert-considered-dangerous
which says this about using BULK INSERT:
When accessing SQL Server via a Windows Login, that Windows account
will be impersonated (even if you switch the security context using
EXECUTE AS LOGIN='...') for doing the file system access

when accessing SQL Server via a SQL Server Login, then the external
access is done in the context of the SQL Server service account
When you have issues with windows authentication and there is three servers and impersonation, it's often a double hop issue.

Permissions issue in SQL Server 2016 and R

We’re very experienced with SQL Server as well as R (as a standalone product). We’ve setup SQL Server 2016 test server (production version from MSDN) with R also installed. The machine works fine, and we’ve tried some rudimentary R, and that works fine as well (which also means that we’ve referred to this article from Microsoft: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt696069.aspx).
So, the issue we’re having is trying to load an R script from a location on our network. For example:

Just in case UNC didn’t work, we tried mapping a network drive to a drive letter, but received the same, “No such file or directory” error message.
There seems to be a permissions issue accessing this file. If we copy that file to the local test server, it works fine. For example, we have no issue with this:
source(“C:\\Temp\\MyRScript.R”);
For this test, I am using SSMS 2016 and I am logged in as a Windows AD user with DBO permissions, and I have permissions to the remote folder. The SQL Server 2016 service accounts are also AD “users” with appropriate permissions. I read that R has its own user group (SQLRUserGroup) and 20 user accounts are in that group – all of this is assigned by SQL Server during the install; these are accounts that are local to the test machine. I suspect this is the issue: R/SQL Server must be trying to access that network folder/file as a local user – not an AD user with appropriate permissions.
Has anyone run into this and found a resolution that you can share?
FYI, as expected, running the following R script in SQL Server 2016 (SSMS):

Reports that my script is running as "MSSQLSERVER01" with a local/home directory and GUID for that user. I'm sure that's the issue, but how do I change that to run as an AD user with proper permissions?
I get the strong feeling that this is not going to be possible, but can anyone here verify?
SQL Server R Services always runs the scripts in the context of worker accounts that are local to the system, for security and isolation purposes. And it is not possible to run them in the AD user context.

Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON' - MS SQL Server - possibility of being unable to solve the issue

I have an error
"Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'"
This is a common error with several possible reasons and solutions. The problem is that I have no knowledge of the database and server administration and credentials authentication topics, thus I will need to spend some significant time understanding what is being said and proposed.
Before I do that I would like to ask if it might be possible for me not to be able to solve the problem due to technical limitations. I will describe the situation in more detail now.
There is an MS SQL Server A with database Adb and table dbo.At. I can read from it. There is also an MS SQL Server B. I can read and write here.
I have MS SQL Server Management Studio 2012 open on my computer. I have a connection with server A open with query "select * from Adb.dbo.At" which works just fine. The connection used Windows Authentication.
I have a connection with server B (Windows Authentication as well) with query "select * from A.Adb.dbo.At" which results in the aforementioned error.
At this point I do have read access to A, I have read and write access to B. I can export data from A and then import it to B using my computer, i.e. I can do a kind of a copy paste and I will end up having what I want. There is no insurmountable wall between these 2 servers with me being the middle man. I simply would like to make it easier. Before I dwell on SPNs, delegations, Kerberos, Active Directory and whatnot I would like to ask if, assuming that I have nothing more than read on A and read/write on B, I might not be able to solve the issue?

I have found a workaround. I can use Server Agent on server B. Using this I can use the server to perform some actions, for example query other servers. The Agent jobs are of a specific type (like T-SQL script). For specific job types the Agent can run the jobs in "run as" mode (requires a proxy). I created a proxy referring to my normal Windows login. Sadly T-SQL script type job cannot be executed in "run as" mode. But PowerShell type job can. PowerShell can also execute SQL statements. Thus I have created PowerShell job running with proxy with the command being:
SQLCMD -Q "select * into Bdb.dbo.Bt from A.dbA.dbo.At" -E
This solved my problem.

SQL Server Express edition - read-only database?

I'm having a very strange problem with a fresh install I have of SQL Server 2008 Express edition (yeah it's a bit old now, but whatever). When I connect via SQL Server Management Studio, I can both read and edit data (update or insert), but when I connect via my web application's data access layer, which uses SqlConnection and SqlCommand to try and update and insert data in tables, no changes occur in the database. The strange thing is that the code runs as if no error had occurred though; no exceptions are thrown, and my update statement causes SqlCommand.ExecuteNonQuery to return 1, indicating that supposedly 1 row has been updated. However, it hasn't. The application can, however, read data from the database via select statements.
Does anyone have any idea what's going on here? I even tried tracing SQL Server using ExpressProfiler, and its output seemed to indicate that the update should have occurred:

Yet TicketsSold stays at the same value (123) it was at before, and does not update to 1234. Is there some kind of "silent" read-only mode SQL Server 2008 Express could be running in? I'm baffled as to why the database isn't being updated.
By the way, this is a proper SQL Server database I created in SSMS, not some attached MDF file that resides in the same directory as my web application. The database is not set to "read-only" in database options, and I'm pretty sure that the user that the web application is logging in as has read/write permission on the MDF file; it is logging in as the same user I am logging in as using SSMS - with integrated Windows security - and I am able to update/insert as that user via SSMS.
Thanks to shf301 in the comments - I was creating a transaction but forgetting to call .Commit before the end of the using block. :-D I put that in and now it works.

SQL Server linked server error 7303 to Access database

I've performed multiple searches and read numerous pages and tried loads of different configurations and nothing seems to solve a nuisance problem we have. We have a SQL server (2008 R2 v10.50.4000) that has several linked servers to several different access databases on a different server. They are all set up using UNC paths and they work...for a time.
At some point, something happens and then we can no longer access the databases and the only way I have found to solve this is to restart the SQL server service, which obviously isn't ideal in a production environment. This is the exact error message we get when we try to access it:
OLE DB provider "Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0" for linked server "HIDDEN" returned message "The Microsoft Access database engine cannot open or write to the file '\servername\path01\path02\path03\databasename.mdb'. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view and write its data.".
Yet it works absolutely fine again if I restart the SQL Server service, so I know the settings are correct. I strongly suspect it has something to do with the Microsoft ACE driver because they all (the Access database linked servers) stop working at the same time - even though they all look at different files.
At this point I'm willing to try anything.

How can I properly link my SQL Server database to an Access form and distribute it to the network and have them input information?

When I link the Microsoft Access to SQL Server locally, everything works. The second I go to a computer that is on the network, I am not able to open the form I created on the Access database.
I found out that if I open the link, I will get an error. If I choose where the DB through configurations in Access, I get the error again. If I try this a third time, it connects to the database and it is fully linked--I am able to type data into Access and it will store it in the SQL Server database as well.
My question is: How do I get it to connect to the server on the first try? I have to hit "connect" three times which takes about 5 minutes to log in. That isn't very efficient when the people using this program nothing about computers.
Linking Access to SQL Server uses ODBC. Make sure your ODBC settings are correct.
