Search the object with like in "Find database objects" on snowflake.com - snowflake-cloud-data-platform

How to search the object with like instead of just starting with.
"Find database objects" currently allow only the object search with Starting name as name%.
is there a way to make it a %name% ?

I think your question is about UI's search option. Unfortunately it only supports searching with starting name. On the other hand, you can use SHOW OBJECTS command to search everything in your account:
SHOW OBJECTS LIKE '%ATI%' IN ACCOUNT;

How to show variable's value in Dialog Name (Einstein Bot)

I need to show the Product's Name in the Menu, I think image says it all:
Click here to see the image
I have a menu, with two options, and the first show a text with a variable, but {!Product} don't works, there is a way of this work?
When I put {!Product} in Message or Question, this works normal...
I didn't find any solution for showing the variable in the title dialog, my solution was to change the message to "Know more about this product", I left a generic message.
Old topic but the answer might help someone.
There's a great article explaining how to get some dynamic information https://www.infallibletechie.com/2021/11/how-to-create-case-from-einstein-bot.html
In your case, I guess you need to
Query your products (the out-of-the-box Einstein Bot query is simple and has a limit of 3 items but you could call a flow or apex to get better granularity on the filter/logic and control le size)
Store the query result in a Custom record list Variable
Query data with a flow
Use a dynamic question and merge fields to display what you want

Search Highlights in file Contents

We have .net application displaying data from using Azure Search service, based on DotNet search App Template
Is there a possibility to show only parts of the file with the highlighted term - for example PDF file page with term highlighted on top?
Have you looked up using the highlight feature?
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/searchservice/search-documents#highlightstring-optional
Your search results will then have a new #search.highlights field which contains a collection of passages with the searched terms. Then you can also use the $select parameter to decide which fields to retrieve and which one to ignore.

CRM 2011 Search Exact Match

I have a problem with CRM 2011 , I currently have 22 users . In the Accounts or Cases entities some of them can search with half of the word and some of them have to enter the whole exact name to get answers which is really annoying . Can someone help please?
Thank You !
By default you can add which fields will be searched to the Quick Search view, see how Example.
You still can use wild cards "*" (ex: "John") when performing a Quick Find Search.
Make sure they use all the same view (the Quick find one usually) and, from
Settings->Customizations->Customize the system->Entities->(Select the desired entity)->Views and then open the view users are using then you can set the filter criteria to whatever you would like for each fields.
I don't think you can enforce a view on users though, but my guess if for some users partial searches work, and for some others not, they are probably using different views.
EDIT: You can select said view and in More Actions above set it to default view. Then again, users are still able to create personal views and set them as default...
Surely you mean that your users search their wanted fields in quick find area that this is system view and the problem posed do not have relation to view's setting, because it was the same for all the user's.
so i guess this problem arises out: keyboard not uniform.......

Salesforce: How to add a Custom Object to Search results

Seems like a simple question, but I can't see where this is set.
I created a custom object, Account Thing, which is related to Accounts with a Master-Detail relationship.
It has a text area field, Body.
It has a Search Results Layout, and if i search for something contained in Body, a result returns.
I created another analogous custom object, Contact Thing. It also has a text area field, Body.
It does not have a Search Results Layout. If i search for something contained in Body, nothing returns. Looking at the list of objects being searched in the results page, Account Thing is listed, but not Contact Thing (or any other custom object i have created)
I'm thinking there must be a flag or search setting that i set for Account Thing, but I can't find it now.
I looked under App Setup > Customize > Search > Search Settings,
but there is no relevant config there.
Any help is appriciated!
I did some digging and found the solution to this issue.
Apparently only Custom Objects that have their own tab are included in search results.
I had somehow created a tab for Account Thing (but removed it from view), but not for
any of the other Custom Objects. After I added a tab, Contact Things were returned in relevant searches.
One other side piece of info is that the body was a Rich Text type, not a standard Text Area. So that explains why it is searchable.
Are you sure the Body on Account think uses a text area? I didn't think those would be searchable as you can't use them in the where clause of a SOQL query so would be surprised if the system did search them. Other than that, is the object marked as 'Deployed' or 'In Development'? If the latter, it probably wouldn't appear.
Because this is a non-code question you may well get closed down here, please follow (and vote on some questions) my Salesforce Stack Exchange proposal, I'm putting it forward so that these kind of questions (which are valid Salesforce development questions) have somewhere to live on Stack Exchange network!

Report Builder 2.0 Create a dataset with Parameters

I cannot get my dataset to recognise a parameter supplied to it.
I have created a report parameter "ProjectID".
(In Report Parameter Properties, Name="ProjectID", Prompt="ProjectID").
In Dataset Properties|Parameters, Parameter Name="ID", Parameter Value="[#ProjectID]".
When I click on the Filter button in Query Designer, the "Projects with" panel says:
"? ID equals (unspecified)".
But when I run the query I'm not prompted to enter a parameter value, and multiple rows are returned.
I should stress that I'm simply trying to replicate the functionality of a pre-existing report where all this works exactly as expected.
When I diff the rdl files of the two reports there are obvious differences, and I can hack the xml (of the semantic query) so that it works, but I don't really have the understanding of why it's working, or how to replicate the necessary changes via the GUI.
Can someone please give me some pointers - preferably without referring me to the documentation as I've been through this numerous times as well!!
Thanks in advance,
Peter.
p.s. I can post some of the rdl differences if that will help, but wanted to keep my initial post clear and to the point.
OK, so what you need to do is when in the Filter screen of the Query designer, assuming you've already specified a filter in the main pane, such as:
"ID equals (unspecified)"
You need to click on "ID" and a context menu appears with "Edit as Formula", "Prompt" and "Remove Condition".
Select "Prompt", and there you go.
