Ubuntu 18.04 issue with xrdp and user - ubuntu-18.04

Since morning I am facing some issue with the ubuntu xrdp. I have 3 users server, admin and root. server user is once which is configured during the installation. if is use root user then I am able to login but if I use other server its throw following error.

sesman connect ok

login successful for display 10
started connecting
connection problem, giving up

for admin user its show following error
Unable to determine failsafe session name. Possible causes:
xfconfd isn`t running ( D-Bus setup problem) environment variable $XDG_CONFIG_DIRS is set incorrectly (must include */ etc") or xfce4-session is installed incorrectly.
My Ubuntu version is: Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS
It`s fresh setup and i also try to reinstall xrdp and its dependency packages but nothing works.
The output of $echo $XDG_CONFIG_DIRS is empty.

After digging in deep and doing lots of troubleshooting, I finally able to access RDP from other users also. I reinstall everything and then install vncserver and kill all the running process of xface from the terminal. Now it's working.

I have installed and configured and also used TV the first time today in Nvidia jetson Xavier,
but after restart Im getting this issue:
teamviewerd.service: Can't open PID file /var/run/teamviewerd.pid (yet?) after start: No such file or directory
Please tell me why and how to fix it, it is of extreme importance !
I use TeamViewer to connect to a machine (Ubuntu 20.04) that not always have a graphical user session started and I noticed that even with teamviewerd running the machine is offline.
I fixed the problem running:
sudo teamviewer setup
From teamviewer --help:
teamviewer setup Configure headless modes (non-gui/console)
Without running this, the only way for me was to start manually a graphical user session and open the TeamViewer GUI on the host I wanted to use.
Make sure you enable/start gdm.service or another supported login manager
Found this question via a search when facing the same issue on Fedora 30 x86_64.
Solution for me was to edit /etc/systemd/system/teamviewerd.service and comment out the line that says:
PIDFile = /run/teamviewerd.pid
So it reads:
# PIDFile = /run/teamviewerd.pid
(or whatever PIDFile it specifies)
then run:
systemctl daemon-reload
systemctl start teamviewerd
systemctl status teamviewerd

This work for me:

service jenkins restart on my Ubuntu
For Windows users, restarting the Jenkins service will resolve the issue.
For that Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Sft+Esc) -> Services -> right-click on Jenkins service and choose the option restart
If you are using the Jenkin's image in Docker if you see this error just try to execute the below command:
http://localhost:8080/safeRestart
you will get a prompt do you need to restart don't click on yes just ignore then start creating your jobs by clicking on NEW, it's just a plugin
For the docker version
1-open the browser
2- write your_ip_address:your_docker_port/restart
Note: you must have the password generated by your Jenkins server

As a comment suggested: always look for official images mentioned here jenkins.io/download.
I faced the same issue when using the docker image jenkins:2.60.3, it turned out that this image isn't an official one, the official images look like jenkins/jenkins:<something>, you can find them here: https://hub.docker.com/r/jenkins/jenkins
If you are behind a firewall (local or through a VPN), there's a good chance that it's failing to download files correctly.
Try installing from another location or disabling the VPN.
Or request your network admin to allow the connections.
When I initially started my server while on a VPN there were two connection failure stack traces.
I am running Jenkins on Ubuntu in AWS.
I had this initial problem after booting up the box.
Ran the following:
sudo service jenkins restart
All working for me now.
Check the Context Path in tomcat for Jenkins that you have given during deployment and then restart/safeRestart from that path.
For example: The Path in the below screenshot is "/jenkins", So the restart URL will be
http://localhost:8080/jenkins/restart OR
http://localhost:8080/jenkins/safeRestart
I just Unchecked all the plugins and clicked on the install button. After that, it successfully takes me to the inside.
Just restart the machine. It successfully worked for me.

How to configure pgadmin4 (PostgreSQL)

When I finished installation postgresql-10.5 and ran pgadmin4 (that came installed with postgresql) I get a configuration error that says:
An error occurred initializing the application server:
Failed to launch application server, server thread existing
It then asks me to input a python path and an application path.
Can anybody help me and and advise what to do to run pgadmin4. I tried find problem solution, but nothing helped me(

MongoDB Connect Fail Error in windows

I have installed MongoDB shell version v3.4.9 in windows 7 and when I type mongo in cmd then I get the following error

I am a beginner in MongoDB.
Run a netstat -an from a Console window. Then locate the default MongoDB port 27017 in the output. If it's there you may have a firewall issue.
If it isn't then MongoDB is not running or not listening on the default port. In this case you want to either start the windows service if you've installed MonggDB as a service or manually run mongod. The following links provide some guidance around that:

unable to attach client process to postgresql server using gdb

I am working with PostgreSQL 9.3.4 source using Eclipse IDE in ubuntu 14.04. I am facing a problem in attaching client process to postgresql server using gdb to debug. When I start the postmaster then I connect to it from client on a terminal. It works fine. Queries get responses. When I run debug config from eclipse then select postgres process id from list I get error saying
Can't find a source file at "/build/buildd/eglibc-2.19/socket/../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/x86_64/recv.c"
Locate the file or edit the source lookup path to include its location.
After this when I send any query from client, it just stucks. No response comes. After attaching gdb to client process, client does not get any response from postgres server. One thing to note is that I was able to debug properly till yesterday. But now it is not working. I tried reinstalling but did not help. How could I fix this issue? Kindly help.
