And here comes the question. Material ui stepper has handleNext function. Its my submit for each step. Each step will be some kind of form with validation. When user is on step1 and he press submit i want to show him input errors (something is required etc) and prevent jumping to next step. Step1 can have multiple small forms so all the form should be validated when handleNext is pressed.

What I finally did to resolve it:
Wrapping the pages with a form (instead of the div)
Setting a reference to the form using the 'useRef' react hook
Check whether or not the form is valid on the 'handleNext' method and return if it's not. The access to the form object is achieved by the useRef hook, and the validity check made by the function 'myForm.current.checkValidity()'

The best way I've come up with to do step-wise validation is by breaking the form up into little forms and have a controller component combine all the form values together like in the Wizard Form Example.

Onclick function only works when I Click twice

All other input data get clear when I remove an input

Hi i am working on a React application where there are four inputs.when a user add an input the element will be added to the wrapper.In the following code add operation works fine but remove operation is not working properly ,it is not removing the corresponding element.Another problem the values on the inputs fields not present when the component re-renders.so experts guide me how i can achieve removing the corresponding row when the remove button is clicked and the input values should not be reset when the component re-renders
So when I refresh the page and click to remove an input it will clear all other input data. How can I fix this problem ?

Why is my react stepper component is look like small?

I've used material-UI stepper to make multi-step form inside of the Drawer content which also a material-UI Drawer. But when I use that stepper code it looks like the below picture.

I just changed the width. But it doesn't work. How can I correct this error?
I just found out the answer to that. In useStyles (styles in my code) I added marginRight: 700, to root class. Then the stepper stretched.

How can I edit a todo in my react app using hooks?

I'm trying to figure out how to edit a todo item in my react app using hooks, but I can't seem to figure out how to write the code.
Most of the solutions I've seen online are using class components and it's not written with the same logic as my app.

So right now everything works where I can add todos and delete todos + cross out todos. Only thing missing is being able to edit them.
I saw some suggestions about updating the text value with an input form, but I'm not too sure how I'd implement that in my editTodo function.
Similar to your removeTodo handler, you want to pass the todo.id to completeTodo.

Make sure you read and understand code first. Logic is pretty simple what you do in completeTodo. You just need to update text part. Tricky part is to open in input. So logic is like track if user click on id set that id. And check if id is there open input with that id value other wise normal one.

How to unit test stateless material-ui components? functions are not accessible from the outside

In some of the material-ui examples they have internal functions inside the functional component. Those are unaccessible for unit testing, am I losing something?
What I've could done is just either convert it into a class component or extract those functions outside and bind the params inside...

in this example functions like isStepOptional, isStepSkipped,
handleNext are not accessible from the outside of the component
from a test file would be necessary to access those functions in order to unit-test them.
And another good question would be if those functions are not re-defining on every prop change of that component...
Isn't it a little bit anti-pattern?
