WebStorm test shortcut - reactjs

Does anyone know why the shortcut to go to the tests for a given class (cmd+shift+t) doesn't work in WebStorm as it does in IntelliJ Idea, or how one can enable it?

Cmd+Shift+T does work in WebStorm; navigation is based on test names (i.e. marking folder as test root won't help here), e.g. performing Navigate | Test inside a file named My.js will navigate you to MySpec.js file.
Patterns are hardcoded to *Spec.js, *_spec.js, *-spec.js (+same patterns with "test" instead of "spec"). Note that if the file extensions differ (jsx > js), it won't work..
We have a feature request for making patterns configurable, WEB-29053; please feel free to vote for it

You need to mark the root test folder as such, you can do this by marking it by right clicking, "Mark Directory as->Test Sources Root" as below:
Or alternatively by the project preferences->directories as below:
After this one should be able to navigate between tests and their source using the cmd+shift+t shortcut.

Trash files inside user-selected folder inside iCloud Drive

My app works with user txt-files (create, change, delete) inside any user-selected folder. I just internally store the bookmark to get access to that user-selected folder and files.
Now, with macOS Catalina when the source folder is inside iCloud Drive, system still allows me to create and edit files. But doesn't allow to trash one. When I try to do it via [[NSFileManager defaultManager] trashItemAtURL: ... ] I get the following error:

"<filename> couldn’t be moved to the trash
because the volume “<APFS volume name>”
doesn’t have one."

Note: this only happens when the app is sandboxed.
Any ideas how to get the file trashed correctly?

P.P.S. I am still able to use [[NSFileManager defaultManager] removeItemAtURL: ...] method, but I need the target file to be restorable in case user changes his mind.
Ok. Looks like it's a rare case. But if you've got into the same situation, here is what I've ended up with:
There is a deprecated function - FSMoveObjectToTrashSync - that still works just fine. It saved my ass for now.

How to handle Solutions, Projects and their contents in a VisualStudio extension

In short:
I'm new to VisualStudio Extensibility and my goal is to create an extension with a ToolWindow (which already works) showing different views for each context of a VisualStudio solution, i. e. a view for the solution, a view for a project etc.. The window should be opened by clicking on a context menu entry in the context menus of the Solution Explorer, Class View, Object Browser and (ideally) any other window showing contents like projects, namespaces, classes etc..
After searching I found a lot of information, but for some points I couldn't find very helpful information. How do I ...
... create a context menu item for the VisualStudio views?
... get the currently open solution as an instance in code?
... get the projects of the solution and their contens as instances in code?
... add/remove items to/from a solution/project/class/... in code?
... react to selection changes in the Solution Explorer?
What I've done, so far:
I read the docs for Starting to Develop Visual Studio Extensions and downloaded the VSSDK-Extensibility-Samples. Especially the WPF_Toolwindow example was interesting for my purposes, so I built and ran it, which was successful, so far. Another interesting sample would have been the WPFDesigner_XML, but it always throws a NullReferenceException, so I decided to stick with the former ToolWindow, which is completely fine, for now.
Furtermore, I tried to understand the example by having a close look at each file in the project, running it in the debugger and analyzing what happened. I'm confident I understood it, but am also open for corrections of my possibly misguided thoughts following.
Now, I have created a new project, based on the WPF_Toolwindow sample, renamed and adapted to my needs (basically, I created new GUIDs, renamed the namespaces and removed things I won't use). This extension still works in the debugger. I even uninstalled everything from the experimental instance and debugged the extension from scratch.
What I try to achieve:
Have the ToolWindow load a specific view/viewmodel, when the selection changes in the Solution Explorer (or any other VisualStudio view). Alternatively, there should be a context menu item for every node's context menu in the Solution Explorer tree (or any other VisualStudio view).
Get the currently open solution, the containing projects and basically everything from the Solution Explorer's content as instances processable in my viewmodel. I need to properly add/remove
classes/structs/enums to/from
a folder in a project
a namespace
properties/fields to/from a class/struct
Generate code based on information of the solution and add the file properly to a project.
Does anyone know of examples for something like this or can anyone give me some hints, where I can find further information? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

(3) Yes, basically adding a file to a project without manually manipulating the project file would be nice.
You can add the file to project via Project.ProjectItems.AddFromFile, and the following provide a sample for your reference.

XP - Context Menu - Move Selected Files to a Specific Folder

G'day all and thanks for your help. Every now and then I have to copy downloaded files (after changing them) to a specific folder. In this example lets say d:\myfolder. I want to be able to do this quick with no hassles.
It was suggested that I look at the registry and the windows context menu. Truth be told I have no idea what to do.
Simply put; How do I MOVE files I selected to d:\myfolder from the context menu?
If possible greatly appreciated.

Oof, a bit late in finding this question and responding, but here goes...
I want to do the same thing you're requesting, with the same aim: to do so in as few steps as possible.
The simplest solution for you would be to just create a shortcut for the target folder to which you wish to direct your files, and then move that shortcut into your "Send To" folder.
One add'l tip on this approach: selecting the target folder shortcut in the "Send To" menu will copy your file to the selected location; however, selecting the folder when also holding down the SHIFT key will move the file to that folder, instead.

Best configuration and parameters for ctags in a CakePHP project

What is the best configuration and parameters for ctags in a CakePHP project?
I want to be able to auto-complete ctp files, Components, Behaviours, Models and Helpers?

This solution requires 1 line in your .ctags file and two lines in your .vimrc file, so it's fairly minimal.
tl;dr

Add Views to your tags
This solution is mostly for jumping between files. I'll try and add auto-completion at a later date.
Add this to your ~/.ctags options file to include CakePHP views as PHP files:
--langmap=php:+.ctp
Then I'm assuming you've done ctags -R . at the root of your project (that's what I've done at least). This out of the box should pick up PHP syntax and class definitions.
Auto-completion (general)
I found the auto-completion (omni-completion from Ctrl+XCtrl+O) doesn't work very nicely with PHP, e.g. if I type $this-> and then try to auto-complete it doesn't find any tags.
The fix for this was to use install phpcomplete.vim. This will find methods within your class.
However that won't auto-complete connected models.
Models
By default ctags should work for all Controller -> Model jumping as the Model name is the same as the class name.
Behaviors
These again should be fine as you don't specify the name of the behavior you just have the method name which depending on how independent the name is it should get found - or at least it will be in the list of tags.
Components
There's no direct way of mapping these, I couldn't see a way of mapping them through the ctags --regex options. ctags recognises that they are classes but doesn't know the xxx -> xxxComponent mapping.
However there is one slight trick. You can do a tag search on the beginning of the class name (source)

will find
class EmailComponent
You can then map this in your .vimrc
map <leader>t yiw<cr>:tag /^<C-R>"<CR>
This copies the word that you've got the cursor over and then pastes it into the tag command and executes it. My leader is set to ,, so I can type ,t and it takes me to the corresponding component under the cursor.
Helpers
Ok, another slight hack in the .vimrc file:
map <leader>h yiw<cr>:tag /^<C-R>"Helper<CR>
Using ,h, this will jump you from $html->... to
class HtmlHelper extends AppHelper {
But it doesn't work for functions inside e.g. if your cursor is over script in $html->script, it will not take you to the HtmlHelper script method. So it's a work in progress.

Changing Extjs 4 default MVC folder structure

I am writing an application that has both extjs and sencha touch version. my current folder structure is like

model and store are similar in both application so i need to organize my folder structure in such a way that both application could share single/common model and store folders. What could be the possible solution? Please help
Based on a cursory glance over the source for Ext.app.Application it looks like it's possible to change the paths without overriding anything.
The path to the app folder is controlled by the appFolder config which defaults to "app." You can change this as you see fit but it's not necessary to do so.
Also included in the application class is an undocumented config called paths which is an object containing simple (key, value) pairs. Example:
paths: {
"Ext": "/path/to/Ext",
"Ext.ux": "/path/to/Ext/ux"
// etc...
}
The Ext.app.Application constructor checks for the presence of the paths config and calls Ext.Loader#setPath for each entry. You can read more about Ext.Loader at Sencha Docs
I don't like including disclaimers with my answers, but in this case I feel I should: I haven't personally used this to create an application so I can't completely vouch for its correctness, but it should be a start. If this should fail, you may need to override or extend the library classes to suit your needs (probably either Ext.app.Application or Ext.Loader).
