Why is Edge fetching every module/component as http request? - reactjs

We have a SPA built with React and bundled with Webpack.
The server only has the index.html and javascript bundle files located.
Behaviour Chrome/Firefox/Opera
Loads index.html
Fetches bundles
Boots React page
Behaviour Edge
Loads index.html
Fetches bundles
Boots React page
Starts loading every module and component as an independent file using HTTP requests (they are not even on the server, the response is index.html)
The bundle does not have this information. This information must be fetched from the source map. But why does Edge do this?

This is similar like SAP application, those JavaScript library has their own logic to preload source codes to optimize the performance/network requests. It's a compatibility issue with React library for Edge browser.

Does NextJs support prerendering without client side hydration

I want to prerender a static site being created with NextJs. After doing next build && next export, I have the site prerendered.
But it still loads a lot of small scripts at the client side.
I didnt see an option to do genration without hydration in next.config.js (similar to svelte kit)

How to restrict access of my react build static files?

I have created the build by npm run build and hosted the build folder on a server.
My problem is that I can see the static files by their paths. Eg - https://[mydomain.com]/static/js/11.ba24d9f9.chunk.js2
While if this file doesn't exist(hit a random url on this domain, eg - https://[mydomain.com]/abaknan),
it will render my 404Component because of react-router * entry.
Is it possible to block this chunk route and show 404component ?
React is a Javascript library for UI rendering on the client-side. So, it requires all the compiled JS loaded into the document in order to render the components.
If you are using any sensitive information on your page. Please secure those in your backend application.
The compiled JS chunk files are necessary to render the page. So, they must be accessible from wherever you're requesting the page. Other endpoints return your custom 404 page because the file wasn't found by React Router. Blocking chunk routes is not possible from your UI framework, you will need to add those rules on your server.

Managing routes in reactjs app in production

How is routing handled in a built react app?
Specifically, in a development environment, we can simply hit <host>:<port>/<some-path> and the corresponding component is loaded, but once the app is built, we get a bunch of static files and single index.html file, which are then served by some server.
Now, upon hitting the url <server-host>:<server-port>, the app works as intended, but upon entering the path, say <server-host>:<server-port>/<component-path>, a 404 error is returned.
If there is, say a button, upon clicking which, the same /<component-path> is to be redirected, the app works, but then again upon refreshing that page, 404 error occurs.
How can this be solved? What is the correct way to serve such apps having many components at different routes?
approach1:(recommended)
In server config you should point all urls ( http://ipaddress:port/<* any url pattern>) to index.html of react-app . this is known as fallback-mechanism.
And when any request comes,index.html of React app will take care of that automatically because it is single page application.
approach2:
Use HashRouter in React app. So You will not have to configure anything.
Depending on which server you are deploying to, you should redirect all errors to the index.html look for the configuration maybe htaccess or for example if it an AWS S3 bucket you just specify the error page to the same index.html file that is served. Then you handle actual error in your code using a routing library like maybe react-router-dom to take care of actual error. Your failure is because in normal circumstances in a static host when you provide a URL like <server-port>/<component-path> the assumption the server makes is that there is a folder with name component-path in your root directory which has an index file from where to load and display but in the case of React single page application, everything is managed by the index.html. So every request has to pass via the index.html

How to deploy a react application on a static server

I have a react application build with create-react-app. Its using octoberCMS as the backend fetching data using Axios calls from the frontend. Till now I was developing keeping the build content of react inside a directory named 'react' in the root directory of octoberCMS installation. Hence the URL I was hitting was http://example.com/react/.
The problem is now I am done with the development phase and look forward to deployment. But I want my front-end to be served at http://example.com and backend to be served at http://example.com/backend (backend served as I want). How can I achieve this? I am fairly new to both frameworks.
I have tried keeping the build content along with the rest of the octoberCMS
First build your react app that will give you vendor.js[third party scripts] and your app.js[your actual app]
put them in to theme directory assets something
Then In Ocotber CMS make page with URL /:url? and paste your index.html content there.
it will be your root div and including js html, change path for js which points to the build js which you put in theme directory.
now what happens when anybody come to site
- we are serving same content as we do in dev build
- index.html with root tag and needed js
Now if use hit any other url like https://www.example.com/test/etc it also will be catch by /:url? (and all other requests) and home page served and our react app will work as we needed.

AngularJS, Cordova/IonicFramework: load index.hml from server

Background:
I'm loading my entire AngularJS Cordova/Ionic web-app from the server. This is amazing. I can change the app without going through Apple.
Questions:
Q1) How can I use js-files.zip, loaded from server, in my index.html file?
Q2) How can I effectively load index.html startup logic from my server?
Problems:
On some older devices, loading time is too high if I load all my .js files from my server, so I want to be able to configure that logic (in index.html) also from the server.
The only thing I'm not loading from the server is the content of index.html
So, how can I essentially load index.html from a server?
If i try to do that
1) Pulling, say, indexfromserver.html using ajax and doing html rewrite of index.html with document.write(res), then there are AngularJS problems:
E.g., module missing errors (*1 below), because the following isn't in index.html until after the ajax response rewrites index.html:

1.1) I can include the necessary modules in the initial local index.html, but then if I rewrite index.html, I'll get these errors/warnings about classList null in ionic (ask me for details), deviceready not fired, and angularjs loading more than once
2) I can redirect index.html to, say, indexfromserver.html, but then all my $http responses are rejected promises.
Regarding 2) I've been told I should be able to add a controller for indexfromserver.html or specify $urlRouterProvider.otherwise('/app/indexfromserver');
This hasn't fixed the $http requests from being rejected.
I don't understand exactly how index.html is involved in making $http work correctly, as it doesn't have a controller and isn't the 'otherwise' route provided. I only see mention of index.html in config.xml so far.

Can someone please post a snippet of a typical example how an AngularJS Cordova/Ionic app could effectively use index.html logic that's loaded from a server?
Otherwise, can someone show/explain if/how I can use js-files.zip from server, and uncompress and use in index.html?

It was pointed out that you can use JavaScript in certain situations to unzip an archive, but that is not very common. The web does not work like that, Ionic runs inside of a browser so you should use the same processes as you would to optimize a website.
You would build the app instead like any website. Take the following steps to create a more optimized app for loading quickly. If you aren't familiar with build tools, take a look at http://yeoman.io/, and this specific generator for Ionic https://github.com/diegonetto/generator-ionic.
Here is a very basic list of some steps you can take, though the generator provides a few more options and other things could be added as well.
Concat and minimize your app's JavaScript into single file.
Concat and minimize your app's CSS into a single file.
Compress your angular templates with a tool like this https://www.npmjs.org/package/grunt-angular-templates into a single JS file.
Deploy static assets to server.
Link to above assets in index.html.
Ultimately the goal is to optimize the assets so you don't have to load a lot of files, and each file is as compressed as possible.
If you want to go the zip file route, and you assume your users aren't always connected to the internet, probably the best way is to:
Check if the version is new via a server call, and if so, download the zip file, extract it (maybe via stuk.github.io/jszip/), and use a Cordova interface to write the new JS code to the phone's memory, and run the code by adding some script tags in your loader.
