When I do console.log(message.guild.name), it works normally, giving me the name of the guild a message was said in. However, for some reason, when running that code while DMing a user, it gives me the following error:

A DM channel isn't in a guild, so can't have a guild attached to it
You need check the message.channel.type property to identify what type of channel it is. A message can come from any of these channel types TextChannel (aka a guild text channel), DMChannel or GroupDMChannel
When looking at channel.type it'll give you one of the following options:
dm - a DM channel
group - a Group DM channel
text - a guild text channel
voice - a guild voice channel
category - a guild category channel
The way you could do this is:

What I am trying to do is set up an autoresponse discord bot that adds a reaction to any message that is being sent,in a specific channel. I cannot figure out why it is not showing up in discord.
It's very simple, just add a message event listener, validate if the channel id is the one you want it to be, and then use the .react method. For example:

I am trying to create a bot that server-mutes everyone if a specific person mutes themself.
I can get the user ID or other details via message.member.
Is there any way to find out if that user is muted or even if the person is in a voice channel?
This is what I found so far:

msg.member.voice.selfMute
Old one:
client.channels.cache.get(msg.member.voice.channel.id).guild.voiceStates.cache.get(msg.author.id).selfMute
let's break it down:
client.channels.cache gives you of all text and voice channels in your discord server
get(msg.member.voice.channel.id) gives you the id of the voice channel, the user that wrote the bot command (considering, you have stored the message in a variable e.g.: msg)
.guild.voiceStates.cache gives you a list of everyone in the channel
.get(msg.author.id) takes the user that wrote the last message
.selfMute returns the mute state
btw there are other pretty useful things too like selfDeafen, streaming and more

If you are looping through all of the channels, you simpily need to send your content to the channel, which you've already gotten from msg.guild.channels.forEach(channel => {//code}).
Replace what you have inside the .forEach block with;
channel.send("You like bred? (message)");
Although this will send You like bred? (message)

The following explanation pertains only to v11 (stable).
Client.channels is a Collection of Channels your bot is watching. You can only send messages to text channels, and this Collection will include DM channels as well. For this reason, we can use Collection.filter() to retrieve a new Collection of only text channels within a guild. Finally, you can iterate over the channels and call TextChannel.send() on each. Because you're dealing with Promises, I'd recommend a Promise.all()/Collection.map() combination (see hyperlinked documentation).
For example...

You can use client.channels for this. Check if channel type is guild text channel and then try send a message.

I want to find the user id of the person who DMs the bot. Is there any way to do it? I am using Discord.js
I tried by storing member author and member Id but it didn't work. But when I store channel, it store it as authors tag. But the id for that channel does not matches with the id of the user who DM the bot. I am trying to make support mail bot. But it requires the user id so that I can continue the thread by DMing the user. But it's not possible until I get the user id or server member object. And I can't store that DMchannel in my database because i use json for storing datas.

You can get the ID of the person who DM'd your bot by message.author.id (keep in mind, message will need to change to whatever variable your message is stored in).
You can also get the channel ID with message.channel.id.
The channel ID is not the same as the user's ID (they are two different things), which I assumed you misunderstood from id for that channel does not matchs with the id of the user who DM the bot.
Try this:

Please remember, author/member ID and dm message channel ID is completely separate thing.
Also storing member related data in JSON or an SQL is not a really good idea here. I suggest you only doing that for custom data you've generated, or that would be wasting a lot of memory.
