Manual summary separator becomes HUGOMORE42 with blogdown - hugo

I just updated my version of hugo to 0.53 (from a rather old 0.21) and one of the consequences of the update is that string
<!--more-->
that was previously used for identifying the end of the blog post summary is now replaced with the string HUGOMORE42. Also, the summary end is not correctly triggered.
Can anyone point me in a direction to fix this? If I downgrade to an earlier version of HUGO then the problem disappears, so I'm guessing it is an identifier that was changed along the way.
I tried with my old version of the default hugo-lithium-theme and with another theme. It might be a problem with the theme, but if that is the case where can I fix that? (I have various local modifications of the theme in layouts that might be the culprits).
Googling HUGOMORE42 yield quite a number of webpages that appear to have the same problem so that is not that useful.

ADNStoreFront Multistore AddtoCartForm function crashing page

I am trying to modify an existing XML package of Aspdotnetstorefront Multistore. It's an internal XML package to show the variants of a certain product. What I did to start with was to copy-paste the whole code as is and throw it into a new custom XML package. The problem is that it works fine in the original package but not in the copied package. When I try to run it the function "AddtoCartForm" crashes the page and show the following error while display in red the line that contains the function call:
An HtmlHelper is required for this method. Make sure to specify one when you call the RunXmlPackage method
The format of the function is:
<xsl:value-of select="aspdnsf:AddtoCartForm(ProductID, VariantID, 1, 1, $SelectedSize, $SelectedColor)" disable-output-escaping="yes"/>
I removed the line with the function just to be sure and then everything else works fine. I have no idea what's wrong here. Everything is identical unless by the structure of the url which calls the package:
For the internal package it is: \product\123456
For the custom package it is: \topic\packagename?ProductID=123456
I checked the XML produced by the SPs, the runtime and requested data and it's basically the same in both cases. The ProductID and VariantID values are there. SelectedColor and SelectedSize are not in the XML (not even in the internal package) so it may be just providing null value and probably it's not necessary anyway.
And there is more. If I supress the productid value from the url like this:
\topic\packagename
It won't crash the page (but also won't render because there will be not be any value to process).
In any way I cannot see why it wouldn't work just passing the variable in the querystring (that is basically what it does in the original package even in a different format) and the var value (productid) it getting there. However it seems that it is indeed the url format that is not pleasing the package but it doesn't make too much sense to me. I am over this for several days already and nothing I do seem to produce any positive result. :-(
I looked up online for some documentation but didn't get lucky and didn't find absolutely anything. In extreme cases I try to reach the Vortx support (and they usually answers me giving some valueable clue) but this time it seems that for this specific issue there will not be any help unless I pay an obscene hour fee and unfortunately it's out of question... LoL!
Any idea?
UPDATE: We don't use Multistore regular search tool. Due to the nature of our products (recycled car parts) we have a custom search tool that will try to find 'similar' items that MAY fit the user needs when we don't have the EXACT part. I don't know if you are ware of but several mechanical car parts are interchangeable among different models and makes (like alternators, AC compressors, battery, suspension, cooling system, etc), so when one of our customers needs a part to fix his car he won't tell us the part code; instead he will tell us the car model, year, and generic name of the part so we will try to find the part for him. It does mean that a certain Corolla part will fit perfectly in a Honda Accord and so on. Some times we have some parts in stock that MAY fit his car but we are not absolutely sure. When it happens we will show those parts for the customer and he will decide if he can take his chances. For the sake of customer comfort we want to show all these parts in the same page, but since they normally are variants of different products we cannot use the regular product page for this purpose (because the product page will only show variants of ONE product at time). For this reason I am going to write a package - a modified version of the product page - that will do that but I am struggling with the AddtoCartForm function. In fact I JUST found a workaround by adding the item to the cart accessing directly the /shoppingcart/addtocart script and now my problem is being to force it return to a specific url after to add the item to the shopping cart...
The error has to do with the topic token able to properly get html helper filled out.
I do question why testing is being done on a topic. To test a new product xmlpackage I normally change change the xmlpackage for just one product in a testing environment.
If chaning the product xmlpackage isn't possible then I suggest using the XmlPackageController/engine instead. Which is documented on page https://help.aspdotnetstorefront.com/1000/xml_packages.htm under the heading of "Invoking XML Packages by Themselves". If using the XmlPackageController make certain that the allowengine attribute is set to true in the xmlpackage otherwise that will throw an error as well.

Set default date for zul datebox

I inherited a legacy website written in old zul and have to add new datebox component for birthday datepicker.
Have added a constraint to accept dates before a given date but that triggers an error alertbox from start as the date presented/selected by default on the datepicker is today.
I wouldn't want to use a workaround but to all due respect it seems like this is something over the top feature I'm looking for in zk's reality:
The main showcase for zul does include a birthday datebox, but pretty lame as it doesn't contain any constrain on age.
There is zk fiddler to show how the before constrain works, but that just proves my point that it doesn't select the first proper date for default date at least, if there is no clean way of setting it.
There is forum post that proposes a workaround to set the default year, so Zk is most probably incapable of doing this without a workaround.
There is an open ZK Jira issue from 2017 that addresses somewhat this issue, with a proposed solution pretty much the same as the workaround mentioned in the above point - so the hope is kinda lost, have to go on the workaround route.
I did try that workaround (after the forum post, as that has default year), but the workaround doesn't work for me. It does execute the
this.setValue(initialDate);
And I see that the value is set into the datebox's _pop/_value and _pop/_end nodes but no difference is visible on the datepicker box, still today is preselected altough it is greyed out - so no effect.
Still, when I try it in a fiddle with version 6.5.8.1, the oldest engine that exists, it does work, but not locally with v5.0.11.
In the buglist for this version there is no mention of datebox. Tried to look into to some bugs that might be interfering but turns out it was just another episode of me wasting time with this.
Tried in the 5.0.11 sandbox and it doesnt work with that version. The structure of how I use it is imitated in the linked fiddler. Hints on a workaround that works on this version?
ZK 5.0.11 is a bit on the older side currently, so it might not accept exactly the same overrides as later versions. If I understand the issue correctly, it boils down to either
1 - setting a value before Datebox is rendered to have a "initial date" opened in calendar.
I'd say that's the easy way out, since you can use either composing or databinding to set the value of the datebox during page rendering. Here's a small sample using databinding and zscripts, but the same logic should apply from composer with setValue(). You mentioned that this doesn't work for you locally with 5.0.11 though. Can you share the code that you are using for this? Sample code here in fiddle I can run it on local 5.0.11, and it set the date before popup is opened.
or
2 - setting an initial date (which doesn't affect the selected value) but would be the target for the opened calendar.
This is not a default ZK 5 behavior for datebox. If you want that effect, you would need to customize it using an override script. Simplest way in can think of in ZK 5 is to use the open event of the datebox popup here's an example of what it would look like (package in a script tag in a single page for the example, would use a global js file for real deployement) example here

max-pool-size is invalid in combination with derive-size

For the last couple of days I’ve been battling with an issue which I believe is derived from a change in the source code in Thorntail and unfortunately this code doesn’t appear to be publically available.
The error I’ve been receiving is this:
"WFLYCTL0105: max-pool-size is invalid in combination with derive-size".
Previously you could just leave a “derive-size” out of the configuration and there wasn’t an issue however now anytime I’ve included the “max-pool-size” no matter what the combination with “derive-size” it fails with the above mentioned error.
From the latest Thorntail dococumentation:
Specifies if and what the max pool size should be derived from. An
undefined value (or the deprecated value 'none' which is converted to
undefined) indicates that the explicit value of max-pool-size should
be used.
This is what I had previously in WildFly project-defaults.yml which worked perfectly fine:
ejb3:
default-resource-adapter-name: activemq-rar.rar
default-mdb-instance-pool: mdb-strict-max-pool
strict-max-bean-instance-pools:
mdb-strict-max-pool:
max-pool-size: 1
Any ideas or examples would be greatly appreciated.
More information added in response to questions:
The project was updated from using WildFly Swarm 2018.4.1 to use Thorntail 2.2.0.Final.
The code that appears to have changed in Thorntail is below:
OLD code:
https://github.com/stuartwdouglas/wildfly-swarm-core/blob/master/ejb/api/src/main/java/org/wildfly/swarm/ejb/EJBFraction.java
.strictMaxBeanInstancePool(new StrictMaxBeanInstancePool("mdb-strict-max-pool").maxPoolSize(20).timeout(5L).timeoutUnit(StrictMaxBeanInstancePool.TimeoutUnit.MINUTES))
New Code:
https://github.com/thorntail/thorntail/blob/802e785fdd515ecc1b52b22a64a6ff9338dace29/fractions/javaee/ejb/src/main/java/org/wildfly/swarm/ejb/EJBFraction.java
.strictMaxBeanInstancePool(new StrictMaxBeanInstancePool("mdb-strict-max-pool").deriveSize(StrictMaxBeanInstancePool.DeriveSize.FROM_CPU_COUNT).timeout(5L).timeoutUnit(StrictMaxBeanInstancePool.TimeoutUnit.MINUTES))
If anyone has a link to the above source code that would be great. The only links I can find appear to be from JBOSS so the code looks like it was ported accross and not made publicly avaiable.
After the question update: the default configuration of a couple of fractions was changed to better align with default configuration in WildFly 11. You can configure derive-size: null and then the max-pool-size should take effect.
Something like:
ejb3:
default-resource-adapter-name: activemq-rar.rar
default-mdb-instance-pool: mdb-strict-max-pool
strict-max-bean-instance-pools:
mdb-strict-max-pool:
derive-size: null
max-pool-size: 1
(Note: previously, this answer recommended setting derive-size: none, but that doesn't work. After the discussion in comments, I changed the answer to recommend derive-size: null, which does work.)

Composite C1: how to make the page editor to display the source code by default

When you start editing a page, the editor is initially in the Visual mode, so every time you have to switch it to the Source mode if you prefer html-level editing as usually programmers do.
It is annoying when you have a lot of things to do during the day, especially when there is a bunch of languages every page is translated to.
I haven't found any option in the CMS and no solution in Google.
Actually I found myself the way to change this, so I post this question in order to instantly answer it. Maybe this will help somebody.
Edit file VisualEditorPageBinding.js, which is located in /Composite/content/misc/editors/visualeditor/bindings.
There is function VisualEditorPageBinding.prototype.initializeComponent.
Simply add this line at the very end of the function:
this.switchEditingMode();

Wordpress : Explain Plugins & Theme string value in database

i have installed wordpress and i i have installed couple of plugins and i have got two themes already came with wordpress.
What i am asking about today is : what does the Plugins & Theme string value in database mean ?
Example [When plugins are active] , there is a value on table of :
a:3:{i:0;s:19:"akismet/akismet.php";i:1;s:9:"hello.php";i:2;s:37:"one-click-logout/one-click-logout.php";}
Example [When there are themes on the Themes folder] , there is a value on table of :
a:2:{s:12:"twentyeleven";s:7:"/themes";s:9:"twentyten";s:7:"/themes";}
I could get an explanation of what does the "a" and "i" mean from HERE , but the "s:" is what i do not know what does it mean.
If i tried to change the s:37 to s:6 or any other value , the plugin becomes deactivated , so the s:37 <<< the 37 must mean something or related to the plugin somehow and that`s what i am trying to find out.
's'+number is just number of characters.
so s:12:"twentyeleven" means string of length 12.
I suggest asking this in the WordPress Answers rather than here. This is a very specialist question.
The whole point of WordPress is that you DON'T need to get into the guts of the database - in fact it is highly discouraged since the data may well change between releases.
WordPress has loads of API functions that allow you to make use of it's power without needing to get into the complexities of the database. That is one of it's key strengths.
Even as a WordPress programmer or theme designer, you won't need this information - ever. You would only need to know it if you are planning to write/amend the source of WordPress itself, in which case, you are definitely in the wrong place.
