I just installed a Hebrew plugin in Solr and tried restarting the server to use it.
I used this (my core is called techproducts):
http://localhost:8983/solr/admin/cores?action=RELOAD&core=techproducts
What I got In response is this error, seams like I placed the files in the wrong place:

I think the problem is with the location of the plugin files. If you know where should I be placing the files, do tell me. Any help would be app-reciated! thanks!
Solr will show which directories it looks in for jar files when starting up, so if you watch the Solr log you'll see what the existing options are.
However, you can add your own directory (and pattern) to the list of existing directives. These go in solrconfig.xml for your core:
<lib dir="../../../contrib/extraction/lib" regex=".*\.jar" />
Replace the path given in dir=".." with the path to the directory containing your own jar files.
I forgot to add H-spell files to the route. Silly mistake.
the server restarts now, but it still doesn't seem like the plugin is integrated.
thanks for the help.

One of your fields in schema is expecting lang/stopwords_en.txt file to be present. You need to add this file in your configset's directory.
For eg. if your configset dir name servicedesk. Your stopword file will be at the path servicedesk/lang/stopwords_en.txt

Apache JMeter Version 2.13
Java 1.8.0.45
I also used Jmeter 2.13 with the same plugins (1.2.1) and it works perfectly. But for testing I need the 1.3 plugins.
Does anybody use Jmeter with plugins 1.3 and got the same error?
You have an issue in the fact that you have different versions of same JAR in lib :
httpclient-4.2.6.jar
httpclient-4.5.jar
httpcore-4.2.5.jar
httpcore-4.4.1.jar
httpmime-4.2.6.jar
httpmime-4.5.jar
You need to keep the most up to date version of each not both.
See a full tutorial on this at:
http://www.ubik-ingenierie.com/blog/leverage-your-load-testing-using-jmeter-and-selenium-webdriver/
jmeter.JMeter:
Uncaught exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
org/openqa/selenium/os/Kernel32
To fix the above error, download JNA jar it with its dependency here:
http://www.java2s.com/Code/Jar/j/Downloadjna330platformjar.htm
http://www.java2s.com/Code/Jar/j/Downloadjna330jar.htm
And put it in lib folder.
Just updated to DSE 3.2 from 3.1 using the guide to run the update, now the logs littered with this exception. When querying via SOLR we are getting missing data, however it seems that when querying using cqlsh or the cli, the data is there.

This is known issue that is fixed in DSE 3.2.1.
We just released 3.2.1, which should address your issues. Our developers where able to replicate the stack trace, and resolved that. We also addressed the issue with the indexes not properly handled after a restart.
That looks like some files did not flush correctly on shutdown. You will have to do a full re-index (with deleting) on nodes showing those errors to get the lucene indexes to rebuild.
This page shows how to initiate a re-index. http://www.datastax.com/docs/datastax_enterprise3.2/solutions/dse_search_upload#reloading-a-solr-core
A workaround for this is to change your solr config to use (we are working on a proper fix):
<directoryFactory name="DirectoryFactory" class="solr.StandardDirectoryFactory"/>
If the problem continues, then the CF needs to be re-indexed.
In solr 3.6.1, At some point am getting the following error when concurrent request(concurrent load test) performed against the solr server.

Kindly suggest any idea to resolve this error from solr ?
I don't think it's your solr, the broken pipe happens (happened to me, at least) because of a timeout problem with the client.
Check for your curl timeout value and try to set explicitly a keep-alive Tomcat so you can avoid this situation again.
quick update (just to give a hint, configuration may vary)
in your jetty folder, you should look for a folder named WEB-INF that should contain a file named jetty-web.xml (or web-jetty.xml)
adding these lines:
<session-config>
<session-timeout>720</session-timeout>
</session-config>
should help you (change 720 in what you like more)
there's also the option
<Set name="maxIdleTime">300000</Set>
that may do your trick. You'll have to dig into jetty's doc a lot to figure out this for your case

I try to install solr 1.4.1 with Liferay 5.5-5.2.3 running with Tomcat; my system is RHEL5.
Below I explain the errors I meet; then I give the details of my solr install.
When I start Tomcat, I have the following exceptions :

Aug 4, 2010 10:44:26 AM org.apache.solr.servlet.SolrDispatchFilter init
INFO: user.dir=/opt/apache-solr-1.4.1
Once Tomcat has started, I try to access solr in a navigator : http://MyIpAddress/solr/ .
I have the "Welcome to Solr!" page, which is OK. But when I click on the "Solr Admin" link, I getthe error message "HTTP Status 404 - missing core name in path".
I add that I get the same behaviour if I launch solr separately with start.jar (I get the same exception, and then the same error when I try to access the console).
Now, here are the steps I followed in my install :
I downloaded solr 1.4.1,, and unzipped the file under /opt.
I copied the file /opt/apache-solr-1.4.1/dist/apache-solr-1.4.1.war under /opt/apache-solr-1.4.1/example/solr
I created a file called solr.xml, with the content below, and I put it in two folders : conf/Catalina/localhost from Tomcat, and in /opt/apache-solr-1.4.1/example/solr :
Context
docBase="/opt/apache-solr-1.4.1/example/solr/apache-solr-1.4.1.war"
debug="0" crossContext="true"
Environment name="solr/home"
type="java.lang.String"
value="/opt/apache-solr-1.4.1/example/solr" override="true"
In the file bin/setenv.sh from Tomcat, I added the line :
JAVA_OPTS=="$JAVA_OPTS -Dsolr.solr.home=SOLR_HOME/example/solr"
In the file /opt/apache-solr-1.4.1/example/solr/conf/solrconfig.xml, I explicitly set the index directory in the dataDir tag :
${solr.data.dir:/opt/apache-solr-1.4.1/example/solr/data}
Then I launched Tomcat.
Thank you for any advice on what is wrong with my configuration.
Sylvain
It looks like the solr.xml file does not contain the correct settings. You should use the the settings in the Catalina folder, but you should create another one in the solr home directory.
It looks like this (if you want to use cores):
<solr persistent="false" sharedLib="./lib">
<cores adminPath="/admin/cores">
<core name="standards" instanceDir="standards" />
</cores>
</solr>
