Why for loop failure in angularjs? - angularjs

I am having a angularjs script. In 4th if condition (if(myflag == 2)), when i am enter any minus value less than array length then that time array element removed with same product id. For Example, In my array there are 5 element of same product id, Now i want to remove 4 element then i am entering -4 then my array does not flow 4 time and splice specific index

While using this code I get "; missing before instruction" error.
I believe this could have a simple explanation, but actually I can't understand what's wrong.
Also tried with switch/case statements but get same error... there could be something wrong with array...

What I need is a new array with the result of the if statements.
Your issue is due to you already declared the variable esito and then inside the if you try to declare it again, so that will cause a problem because you're trying to create the same variable again. change Your code as follow:

Cell Compete Problems

Here is my assignment:
There is a colony of 8 cells arranged in a straight line where each day every cell competes with its adjacent cells(neighbour). Each day, for each cell, if its neighbours are both active or both inactive, the cell becomes inactive the next day,. otherwise itbecomes active the next day.
Assumptions: The two cells on the ends have single adjacent cell, so
the other adjacent cell can be assumsed to be always inactive. Even
after updating the cell state. consider its pervious state for
updating the state of other cells. Update the cell informationof
allcells simultaneously.
Write a fuction cellCompete which takes takes one 8 element array of
integers cells representing the current state of 8 cells and one
integer days representing te number of days to simulate. An integer
value of 1 represents an active cell and value of 0 represents an
inactive cell.

This is a C# version of a possible answer. I really struggled with this for a while for some reason!
I also incorporated some of Janardan's stuff above as it helped spur me in the right direction. (cheers!)
The tricky part of the question was dealing with the fact that you had to persist the state of the cell to figure out the next cell competition which I had originally tried with a second array which was messy.
Note: I chose to use the Array.Copy method as I believe it is slightly more efficient and a lot more readable than copying arrays with a for loop when reading through.

I think some of the answers above could be more readable (in addition to being more efficient). Use an additional array and alternate updates between them depending on the number of days. You can return the most recently updated array, which will always be the correct one. Like this:

ActionScript 3 Array Return Runtime Error

All right so I have the following code and all it does is put 3 solid-colour squares on the screen and one rainbow-coloured one in the bottom-right corner. When the user presses on any of the solid-coloured squares, that spot get filled with the rainbow-coloured one and in the original location of the rainbow goes that square that was clicked. The code works almost perfectly except for one thing. When the user tries to click on a square that is UNDER the rainbow square, it returns a run-time error.

The error:

If you take a look at your code you have this:

now you can see here that its looking for tile[aa+1] however aa = 1 in the beginning so aa+1 = 2 and tile[2] doesn't exist or is undefined. You'll need to change your logic there to something like:

I have 3 MC on stage which are all alpha=0

I have one button which once I click then it will make 1 of the MC become alpha=1

I know that this can achieve by using below code:

this code will give what I want to achieve but if there is more than 3 MC the lines of script will be longer.

You could use something like this to set alpha = 1 on the first mc in the array which does NOT have alpha = 1

Search an array for a string and return the index in AS3

I want to search an array to see if it contains a specific string, and then get the index of the result.
For example, if I had:
array[0] = "dogs";
array[1] = "cats";
array[2] = "oranges";
I want to be able to search for "oran" and get 2 back. Any idea on how to do this?
You can do something like this:
function findInArray(str:String):int {

Then whenever you want to find something call it like:
findInArray("oranges"); // Returns 2
To search for a part of the word can pontentially return undesiderd results for bigger lists, but you can do it with the following:
