Trying to understand how to capture and store address in React.
I would like to achieve autocomplete functionality, so that user wouldn't be able to enter some scribbled address, instead user would start typing and then choose an address.
Ideally this address Component would return coordinates to save in MongoDB.
At the moment I am trying to figure out if Google is the right way to go, as there has been major pricing changes and I've heard that it's crazy expensive.
Conversely with the Mapbox I'm struggling big-time finding a working solution for this.
The needs are quite simple and as follows:
1 - capture accurate address of a location in a AddLocationComponent, store it in MongoDB
2 - display a pin of the location on a map within a SinglePostComponent
Ideally another Component with a map of multiple locations near by would be an option.
Could someone please share some wisdom in regards what services/technologies/methods to use to solve this?
Many thanks in advance!
For Capturing the address first you need to get the latitude , longitude using geocodeLatLng(geocoder, map, infowindow); and then for formatted address i.e to get the address as normal string you need to use
infowindow.setContent(results[0].formatted_address); follow this for your result hope it helps refer link

I know this sounds like a big ask, but I'm assuming someone else has already done this and has a simple answer because it seems like an obvious use case.
Twilio has a sample app available on GitHub for their video service. Unfortunately, I don't know much about react, so I was able to make a couple of little changes, but this one has me stumped.
The code is called: Twilio / twilio-video-app-react
https://github.com/twilio/twilio-video-app-react
When you launch the code to enter a video room, you are presented with a form to enter your name and the name of a video room. I need to remove that room name input field and replace it with a hidden variable that was provided in the URL. In other words:
Get a room name variable that was passed as a query parameter on the URL
Make sure the room name is "safe" (alphanumeric) and then put it into a hidden variable in the form
Remove the visible input field (room name) from the form
That would take me two minutes in PHP, and it's probably really easy in react as well, but I can't figure it out. Hope someone can point me in the right direction.
I am trying to work out if a visitor is entering / first page they visit is site.com/life
As we need a change a few things like:
CSS
Audio Playing in Background
etc etc.
I am wondering is their a function that allows us to work out if a path was the first entry point for that visitor?
I was thinking we could check to see if their is a back history but not sure if this would work?
Any advice would be great.
If your app is using react-router, you can access the history object and see where the oldest entry is.
I want to change the map in Rainbow Six Siege like when i start any map in custom game and load any other map.

Go to options and select matchmaking preferences then you can disable all the ones you don't want to play and leave on the ones you do. Effectively you can just do one map and one mode if you desire. This works for Lone Wolf and PVE. Video below shows how.

I'm still a noobie to app making, and i've been trying to read some of the documentary for the MapKit, but im still clueless on how to do this.
I have a textfield on TabBar2, and Apple Map on TabBar1.
How do i make the textfield on TabBar2, searchable for destinations like adresses ?
and then show the found destination, on the map on TabBar1 ?
I hope this made some sense.
Thanks in advance
One way to do it is to use MKLocalSearchClass which searches for key words and can be tricked to look for addresses as well. You need to incorporate MKLocalSearchHandler in your class in order to produce the results. You can then add the results in a map view. Apple has a sample code which works basically the same way. It creates a search based on keywords and shows the location of those keywords nearby the users location. For example coffee or movie or etc. the code can be changed to look for a address or anything else you want. Any how here is the link to the sample code, hope it guides you to the right direction.

I'm Currently working on a scene and i cant seem to find infomation as to how to make a setting for my scen. Its basically a street with buildings on either sides. about 500m long.
I want to put it into a city "enviroment" for animation. Also there will be camera movements so i dont think simply adding an image as a background will work. what i want to know is, Is there a a way to achieve what i want without actually building a small city?
any help or a pointer in the right direction would be great.
thanks in advance
A cubemap might work. http://wiki.polycount.com/CubeMap
There are applications which will generate a city for you, based on criteria you enter. You can enter the building types, sizes etc. I've used one called City Engine - I used the built in wizards to create this but you can create one from scratch even specifying the road layouts: Youtube Video
3ds max has predefined models within it's system,
For example a tree:
