How to change the border color in DB-Visualizer? - sql-server

I am using DB-Visualizer 9.2.10 and I want to change the border color of the editor but I don't see any border option to change. Below image shows the options colors and borders but in my pro version I don't see this option. Is there any other way to accomplish the same.
Thanks

You should be able to change the border by going to Tools -> Properties.
You can either select one of the predefined styles or specify a small image file to use for the border.
You should also be able to change it by going to Database -> Connections

Why is the Designer in Codename one not reporting the attributes I set?

I started a Codename One project with the "Hello World bare bones". I used to define the styles in the Theme tab from the Designer but now it is becoming tedious.
Actually for some selectors, even if I override (unchecking the Derive box) some properties the style is not changed in the Designer (see below) or in the app itself.
However, in the list of selectors, the color is not the one I selected but the alignment seems to be it.
It seems that the theme is locked somewhere. Do I make a mistake, or should I set a constant to "unlock" the theme, or even should I clear some directories?
Please note that I am using NetBeans with designer V 1.1
.
Edit March 1st 2017
Following #Diamond's great tips, I was able to change the foreground color by setting the Border to empty (instead of NULL). However now the alignment is still not what I expect (see below). How can I do for this property ?
Any help appreciated,
In the Designer, Border is superior to background color and background image. Which means if the border image is set, a background color will have no effect unless the border is just a stroke or line.
Always solve this with these few steps:
Go to the Border tab and uncheck the override.
Click the ... button next to Border Help and a new Dialog will show.
Change the Type (First line) to Empty and click Ok.
Your background color will now have an effect.

Applying Style Dynamically To MultiButton LineX Labels

I want to apply RoundBorder style to MultiButton Line2 label when horizontal layout is set to true but calling mb.setHorizontalLayout(true); but I can't because LineX labels are not accessible outside the MultiButton.
I know that I can create curved border using theme designer and applying the uiid to the label using any of the setUIIDLineX() method but I don't want to use it because it didn't give me what I want in some device pixel density.
Is there any other way to style MultiButton internal components(Labels) through code?
Again, why is it that LineX labels are not exposed like icon label?
Exposing the LineX labels will equally enable developers to set icons for the individual labels depending on what the developer want to accomplish.
Thanks.
No one asked for that so we didn't add such getters. You can file an RFE for that or submit a pull request which will probably be quicker.
Notice you can style the round border in the current version of the designer so you can use a the UIID's to set the round border too.

Change border brush from skyblue in wizard control of extended wpf toolkit

I'm using Wizard control of Extended wpf toolkit package.
I would like to change color of the border. See sky blue in image below:
I tried set broder brush\background to wizard\wizard page\window controls, but it failed.
Anybody know how to change it?
Your assistance is appreciated!
Now that you have provided more info, I can see that your question title does not match what you asking to change. You are not asking to change the color of the border of the Wizard Control, you are asking to change the color of the WPF Window.
It takes some time to get things right, and I highly discourage doing this if you app will be used by people with disabilities, who need high contrast, who customized their desktop to a certain color because of color blindness, and the list goes on...Microsoft has worked very hard to address such issues with the defaults.
BUT...you can change this by restyling your Window Style. You can find plenty of code examples.

SSRS Action hyperlink colour change

See attached screen shot.
I have made the 4 text box's hyperlinkes to different reports.
Is it possible to have a some sort of formula which will say change the colour of the box when the cursor is hovered over the hyperlink like a webpage button could do?
Unfortunately SSRS does not allow events like onHover etc. The only thing you can do is to provide a label for the entry or to simply color the text using the properties section and set it to underline. However, this would mean at all times it would be underlined and colored.

Transparent accent color

I want to fade some elements (rectangles and ellipses) from the accent color to transparent using a LinearGradientBrush. However - the transparent color is always a color and it seems like the color "Transparent" is #00FFFFFF - that is white with 0% opacity.
I would like to fade from PhoneAccentColor to PhoneTransparentAccentColor. So if my accent color is red I would like to fade to #00FF0000 and if it is green I would like to fade to #0000FF00.
I can't find any built in color resource for transparent accent so what are my options here? I've tried the options below but with no real success and I can't find much on this topic by normal search channels so I'm not really sure what I'm missing here.
Some suggestions I came up with (however with no real success as stated earlier):
Create a custom resource in code behind and push it into the application wide resource dictionary?
Can I expose a property on my ViewModels with the Color and bind to it?
I can't think of a way to specify a transparent accent color directly with xaml. I do have a couple of possible solutions.
If possible you could animate the opacity of the object rather than the color itself.
Of you could generate the color in code (probably during start up)
var accentColor = (Color)Application.Current.Resources["PhoneAccentColor"];
var transparentAccentColor = accentColor.A = 0;
You could then store the color as a resource and reference it in xaml.
Application.Current.Resources.Add("TransparentPhoneAccentColor", transparentAccentColor);
Hope this helps.
As a general guideline, avoid using gradients on the phone due to the colour support available.
You could try using an OpacityMask in your LinearGradientBrush to achieve your desired results though.
Although not applicable in your case as you're using the accent colour, if you were able to produce images including gradients you should see How can I correct color banding in windows phone 7? for detais on how to avoid banding.
