I am trying to built a SSIS package thru BIDS VS 2013. My Datasource is a InterSystems Cache Database, I wanted to Import Tables records from the Datasource to MS SQL Server 2014.
As a Sanity check. I only created one Package to import one Table to MSSQL Server to try out. The connection to the InterSystems Cache Database was successful. The DSN for the InterSystems Cache Database is created in the System for 32 and 64 Bit.
Here is where my Problem lies. I can successfully execute the SSIS Package in the BIDS Visual Studio 2013 BUT when i deploy the SSIS Package into the Integration Services Catalogs in the SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio) i get the following errors:
I tried so many Options but it just doesnt fix the Problem. It seems that the SSMS Integration Services Catalogs cannot recognize my Datasource BUT why?
Thanks for any tips and help. Thanks a lot in advanced!

I created with the import tool (SQL Server 2019 Express, SSMS 18.1) some SSIS import packages for testing. Now I want to delete them that they can‘t be used by accident.
Of course, I know I have no SSIS running, but when the packages are created by the SQL Server Management Studio they must be stored somewhere. How can I delete them?
I can only give the package a name and can‘t decide where, so I think there is a standard location.
By default, SSIS packages created using the Import/Export wizard are stored within the MSDB database.
To access the stored packages, you should connect to Integration Services from the SQL Server Management Studio.
Then you should see the stored packages within the MSDB directory as shown below.
More information can be found in the following articles:

How to retrieve information about SSIS packages stored in MSDB Database
The questions is basically the title because I could not find any articles to help as they only help on how to create a new database however I cant seem to create/join my own server.
The first picture attached is what I've seen other people do in order to get in however, I get an error when i try to connect
SQL Server and SSMS are two seperate softwares. SQL Server creates a database engine on your machine and SSMS is used to visualize or perform operations on these Database Servers. You Need to install both SQL Server and SSMS. While you seem to have install only SSMS.
You Can Install SQL Server from this link

I'm trying to migrate a SQL Server 2012 database backup file, which I wanted to migrate to Oracle 12c. I tried to use SQL Developer tool for migration using this reference:
http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/db/hol08/sqldev_migration/mssqlserver/migrate_microsoft_sqlserver_otn.htm
The problem is in SQL Developer tool, I didn't see any option where I can generate database capture script for SQL Server 2012, because there is no option which is showing up there.
I'm open for other suggestions as well. the SQL Server is installed on my same system, where I've installed Oracle 12c, so even if there is way by which we can directly connect with SQL Server on my local system.
Hello for migration from SQL SERVER to Oracle. There are many articles are available on web. You can google it. For as one reference use this article and try for migration of data.
I am doing a migration of SSIS packages from SQL Server 2003 to SQL Server 2016.
The steps involved are as follows to migrate:
Open Sql server data tools (SSDT) 2016 or VS 2015.
Import Solution from 2016 Server
Add existing package from 2003 server to the solution to migrate
Deploy that package to 2016.
When I import the .dtsx package from 2003 server and use a database that is different to production, the OLE DB Source data type properties change type and length.
I would like to force these data type and length information to remain same and not automatically change when I change data sources.
Is there a to way force it to not change so that when deployed to sql server 2016, data type and length do not cause me issues.
I hope I have explained the scenario well. I am not SSIS developer so please advise on any information missed.
I have a SSIS package which is used to import multiple csv file in the Database. This SSIS package was working fine on SQL Server 2012 on windows 2012.Recently we have upgraded our DB hardware rebuild the database server to SQL server 2014. Now when we are running the same SSIS package on SQL server 2014 it is only processing one file at a time. I am not sure if any Integration Service setting we can check. I am sure permissions should be fine on the folder and the accounts
