Matlab Integration - modbus.config error - volttron

The steps did successfully :
Install the master driver
Storing the registry file (catalyst371.csv) file
I created modbus.config file in the main volttron root with below information:
{
"driver_config": {"device_address": "127.0.0.2", “port”: “5020”},
"driver_type": "modbus",
"registry_config":"config://registers.csv",
"interval": 5,
"timezone": "UTC"
}
When I store the config using:
vctl config store platform.driver devices/mysite/mybuilding/modbus1 modbus.config
I get the error attached error message
I also attached the Volttron Central installed components Volttron Central please let me know if I am missing any other agent.

The key port and value 5020 are not enclosed within regular double quotes. They are curly quotes (may be from word or another software?). Once I fixed the quotes character around port and 5020 I was able to add the file to config store.

Setup Xdebug for Shopware docker failed

I try to setup Xdebug for shopware-docker without success.
VHOST_[FOLDER_NAME_UPPER_CASE]_IMAGE=ghcr.io/shyim/shopware-docker/6/nginx:php74-xdebug
After replacing your Folder Name and running swdc up Xdebug should be activated.
Which folder name should I place?
Using myname, the same name as in /var/www/html/myname, return error on swdc up myname:
swdc up myname
[+] Running 2/0
⠿ Network shopware-docker_default Created 0.0s
⠿ Container shopware-docker-mysql-1 Created 0.0s
[+] Running 1/1
⠿ Container shopware-docker-mysql-1 Started 0.3s
.database ready!
[+] Running 0/1
⠿ app_myname Error 1.7s
Error response from daemon: manifest unknown
EDIT #1
With this setup VHOST_MYNAME_IMAGE=ghcr.io/shyim/shopware-docker/6/nginx:php81-xdebug (versioned Xdebug) the app started:
// $HOME/.config/swdc/env
...
VHOST_MYNAME_IMAGE=ghcr.io/shyim/shopware-docker/6/nginx:php81-xdebug
But set a debug breakpoint (e.g. in index.php), nothing happens
EDIT #2
As #Alex recommend, i place xdebug_break() inside my code and it works.
Stopping on the breakpoint the debugger log aswers with hints/warnings like described in the manual:
...
Cannot find a local copy of the file on server /var/www/html/%my_path%
Local path is //var/www/html/%my_path%
...
click on Click to set up path mapping to open the modal
click inside modal select input Use path mapping (...)
input field File path in project response with undefined
But i have already set up the mapping like described in the manual, go to File | Settings | PHP | Servers:
Why does not work my mapping? Where failed my set up?
The path mapping needs to be between your local project path on your workstation and the path inside the docker containers. Without xDebug has a hard time mapping the breakpoints from PHPStorm to the actual code inside the container.
If mapping the path correctly does not work and if its a possibility for you, i can highly recommend switching to http://devenv.sh for your development enviroment. Shopware itself promotes this new enviroment in their documentation: https://developer.shopware.com/docs/guides/installation/devenv and provides an example on how to enable xdebug:
# devenv.local.nix File
{ pkgs, config, lib, ... }:
{
languages.php.package = pkgs.php.buildEnv {
extensions = { all, enabled }: with all; enabled ++ [ amqp redis blackfire grpc xdebug ];
extraConfig = ''
# Copy the config from devenv.nix and append the XDebug config
# [...]
xdebug.mode=debug
xdebug.discover_client_host=1
xdebug.client_host=127.0.0.1
'';
};
}
A correct path mapping should not be needed here, as your local file location is the same for XDebug and your PHPStorm.

Using a different doctrine.yaml file in dev and prod with Symfony4

In a symfony4 project, I want to use a sqlite database in local development and a mariadb instance or production. In the structure, I see there is the main doctrine.yaml in config/packages.
Since sqlite file location congifured with path: and mariadb/mysql finds the connection string via url:, can I move the doctrine.yaml file to /dev/ and add the dbal: to /prod/doctrine.yaml?
Yes, because of these lines in your src/Kernel.php, Symfony will load first your global packages, and next your per-environment packages
protected function configureContainer(ContainerBuilder $container, LoaderInterface $loader)
{
$confDir = $this->getProjectDir().'/config';
$loader->load($confDir.'/{packages}/*'.self::CONFIG_EXTS, 'glob');
$loader->load($confDir.'/{packages}/'.$this->environment.'/**/*'.self::CONFIG_EXTS, 'glob');
$loader->load($confDir.'/{services}'.self::CONFIG_EXTS, 'glob');
$loader->load($confDir.'/{services}_'.$this->environment.self::CONFIG_EXTS, 'glob');
}

How can I read the blcokfile_xxxx

I tried to read the fabric produced blockfile_00000 which is at the directory /var/hyperledger/production/ledgersData/chains/chains/mychannel of the peer node.
But I can't read it through the method like:
configtxgen -profile TwoOrgsChannel -inspectBlock ./channel-artifacts/blockfile_000000
the error is
[common/tools/configtxgen] main -> CRIT 004 Error on inspectBlock: Could not read block ./channel-artifacts/blockfile_000000
using confitxlator
configtxlator proto_decode --input ./channel-artifacts/blockfile_000000 --type common.Block
the error is
configtxlator: error: Error decoding: error unmarshaling: proto: can't skip unknown wire type 6 for common.Block
I know the blockfile actually is chunk which is the collection of blocks, how to handle it?
configtxlator version
configtxlator:
Version: 1.2.0
Commit SHA: f6e72eb
Go version: go1.10
OS/Arch: linux/amd64
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I use docker exec command into peer node and get block through peer channel fetch . Then, read the block by configtxlator. But how to read the transaction information.
the part log is(block 6):
"header": {
"data_hash": "kVFRQLFjY7+6l6QsL+jOgt5ICoCUlRG4VedgmBXv/mE=",
"number": "6",
"previous_hash": "GQ4w7x7MQB+Jvsa3neJcTNdU7aXdKVHySA7Va3SktOs="
},
There are APIs which can be used to query blocks for any given channel:
GetChainInfo returns the current block height for a given channel
GetBlockByNumber returns individual blocks by number (you get the latest block from the GetChainInfo API work backwards from there)
All of the SDKs have methods to invoke these APIs
configtxgen and configtxlator are meant for generating configuration transactions and translating configuration transactions into readable format respectively. Configuration Transactions include creation of channel, update anchor peers in the channel, setting the reader/writer of a channel etc. They are not meant for normal transactions which gets stored in blockfile_xxx.
You can use Hyperledger Explorer to view your block data.

Prepare multi-databases with play framework

I want to prepare my application to be compatible with many databases types. To try it i've used H2, MySql and Postgresql. So 'ive added into build.sbt :
"mysql" % "mysql-connector-java" % "5.1.35",
"org.postgresql" % "postgresql" % "9.4-1201-jdbc41"
and i've added conf/prod.conf with all configuration without database configuration, and 3 files:
conf/h2.conf
include "prod.conf"
db.h2.driver=org.h2.Driver
db.h2.url="jdbc:h2:mem:dontforget"
db.h2.jndiName=DefaultDS
ebean.h2="fr.chklang.dontforget.business.*"
conf/mysql.conf
include "prod.conf"
db.mysql.driver=com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
db.mysql.jndiName=DefaultDS
ebean.mysql="fr.chklang.dontforget.business.*"
conf/postgresql.conf
include "prod.conf"
db.postgresql.driver=org.postgresql.Driver
db.postgresql.jndiName=DefaultDS
ebean.postgresql="fr.chklang.dontforget.business.*"
Add to it i've three folders into conf/evolutions with
evolutions/h2
evolutions/mysql
evolutions/postgresql
with these things user can start my application with this command :
-Dconfig.file=dontforget-conf.conf -DapplyEvolutions.default=true -Dhttp.port=10180 &
And this conf file is
include "postgresql.conf"
db.postgresql.url="jdbc:postgresql:dontforget"
db.postgresql.user=myUserName
db.postgresql.password=myPassword
But with this configuration, when my application try to connect to DB :
The default EbeanServer has not been defined? This is normally set via the ebean.datasource.default property. Otherwise it should be registered programatically via registerServer()]]
So i've tried to add, into my configuration :
ebean.datasource.default=postgresql
but when i add it i've :
Configuration error: Configuration error[Configuration error[]]

So i don't understand how i can do it.
YES!!! I've found it! After debug mode (etc...)
There was 2 problems.
First problem : I must add a key into my application.conf :
ebeanconfig.datasource
For me (for exemple), postgresql.conf is modified to :
db.postgresql.driver=org.postgresql.Driver
db.postgresql.jndiName=DefaultDS
ebean.postgresql="fr.chklang.dontforget.business.*"
ebeanconfig.datasource.default=postgresql
Second problem : include into play 2.3.x don't works because conf folder isn't added into classpath (ref Load file from '/conf' directory on Cloudbees ) so we must concat prod.conf, postgresql.conf and dontforget.conf into an only single file.
I hope i have helped any other developper...

Can't Execute Query in MSSQL using JDBC in XPages

I am using a JDBC Microsoft SQL driver in an xpage to get data from MS SQL server
The driver is installed using an update site and it is loaded successfully into the OSGI
I have also added a sqlserver.jdbc containing credentials to the webcontent\webinf\jdbc folder in the application
When I try to access the sql tables using #JdbcDbColumn it is working fine
var con=#JdbcGetConnection("sqlserver");
#JdbcDbColumn(con,"PrTr","Descr")
But when I try to execute a query like this
var con=#JdbcGetConnection("sqlserver");
var query="SELECT * FROM PrTr";
var rs=#JdbcExecuteQuery(con,query);
....
I get a stack trace error (on line 3) with lots of error lines, the lines that stand out are these
com.ibm.jscript.InterpretException: Script interpreter error, line=4,
col=8: Error while executing function '#JdbcExecuteQuery'
java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException
I have also tried to connect a view panel to a JDBCQuery data source but then I only get a 500 error wihtout a stacktrace
The SQL server is not on the same windows server as the xpages
in the stacktrace/tracelog there was one line that looked like this
java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(AccessController.java:362)
But not sure if it is an error or only informational and if it is related to the query. i.e if there is a security problem.
I need help to understand why I can do the #JDBCDbColumn but not the #JDBCExecuteQuery
btw I just checked the SQLLog and do not see any entries related to my queries
Here is the full stacktrace

I came across this problem some time ago with column names being upper cased for a method in Extension Library code -> How to get XPages and JSON to not put variable names in Uppercase
I'm not sure if it's the same problem, but may be worth investigating.
To find out if it's a security issue you could allow all permissions to Java. Create a java.pol file in the jvm/lib/ext/ folder, and add this:
grant {
permission java.security.AllPermission;
};
(don't forget to restart the server when you're done)
I've done custom JDBC connections by including the correct driver Jar file to the database and I needed to do this to get it work.
