Microsoft Teams - downloading a file from within a tab - file

I've created a configurable tab app and have side-loaded it into Teams. On the content page, I want to allow the user to download a file. Simply linking to the file doesn't work. When the user clicks the link, the content iframe redirects and goes blank. I've tested this in the web app version of Teams at teams.microsoft.com and it works fine. The file gets downloaded as you would expect.
If it makes any difference, the content page is hosted in SharePoint on a modern page using SPFx.

Open instagram ad link in default mobile browser

We are creating Instagram ad for the product (from ads manager panel) . It contains the link to the webpage , where one of the steps is that you need to upload the picture.
Problem here is that ad is opened in some kind of "instagram" browser, not in like chrome or safari. And when user tries to upload the image, the process crashes.
Is it possible to force open this ad in default browser?
About thirty seconds after I initiated the bounty, I found the solution. So simple it was difficult...
Instead of, e.g.: https://www.instagram.com/p/LetTerS -- simply replace with https://m.instagram.com/p/LeTtErS/
When opened on desktop, Chrome (tested) quickly resolves back to "www." - the phone opens the link in a browser properly (tested on Nexus 5X, Samsung Something).

Can you please share one of the URLs to the images that aren't working?
Perhaps you have the permissions in your DNN file manager setup so that you have to be logged in to view all of the files in the folder. You can go to the file manager, click on a folder, and manager permissions from there.

FB.init (of Facebook web app) doesn't seem to get called when running on mobile

I have a Facebook web app that runs on canvas. The canvas URL is configured as http://apps.facebook.com/myApp (example). This URL has an FB.init that helps me identify and login the user by getting his name and FB user id. This app runs fine on a PC or a laptop.
This page is very simple with some JavaScript but with routine HTML tags like <p>, <input>.
I configured the same URL as Mobile Site URL under Mobile Web. Since then I can now see the link for this app on my mobile device (an Android phone). But when I click on the link, the first page of the app opens in my mobile browser but it seems that FB.init can't run there. I can't get the user id and use name.
What is the reason and what is the solution, i.e., how to make the same app run on users' mobile phones?
Thanks.

Hiding viewable files in sharepoint

Our company have some data in excels/images files that we want to make available to our employee through our sharepoint portal. However we do not want them to be able to download the files or copy/paste them to their PCs.
For this problem, I have written a silverlight app to display excel file and disable select/copy function. So now we upload the files to a document library, make this library 'viewable' to all users. We have a webpart that access the library and pass the links in encrypted form to the silverlight app to display. From the webpart page, the user can not see the links to the actually files. We will give the users link to this webpart page but not the document library itself.
However if a user goes to the 'All site contents' page, he can still easily see the document library and hence download the files.
My question is : is there a way to have the files viewable without letting the user having the link to download it ?
If there are any better ways, I would like to know as well.
Many thanks
A relatively simple way to hide the library from the "All site contents page" is by making it hidden. You can't do this from the UI, but you can either change the list instance (if you build the list definition and instance yourself) to have the list created as hidden, or you can open the list / library with SharePoint Designer and check "Hide from browsers" in the settings of the list.
Alternatively you can mark the list as hidden using the SharePoint Management Shell:
$w = get-spweb http://yoursite
$l = $w.Lists["yourlistname"]
$l.Hidden = $true
$l.Update()
Notice though that making a library hidden doesn't prevent users from browsing to it if they know the URL of the library. Through a developer proxy/network sniffer (like Fiddler), even if using Silverlight, one could figure out the url of the library if one really want to. Even if the links are passed to the Silverlight app encrypted, the Silverlight app itself will likely have to access the full urls, and as such they are trackable.

SILVERLIGHT. How to download file like from web-site

I want download file from server. I know how to do this using WCF/RIA services. How can I do this like in web site. For example: I click button and It will appear standard dialog browser window to download file.
Use the Hyperlink control and link it to a server-side URL. This is what I've done in my app to avoid the whole generic save file prompt restrictions of the default SL sandbox.
