Fail to retrieve API configs with status: 503 - google-app-engine

Is it me or everyone else is getting this error? We don't see any error when I started the endpoint and I am able to access the local datastore.

I noticed that I am getting this message:

After bouncing my desktop, the 503 problem was remedied. However, I am still seeing the "missing platform method" message.

OAuthProblemException from apache.amber.oauth2

I'm looking for OAuth2 library for Google App Engine (GAE).
By using the example from: https://github.com/ndhu/GoogleAppEngineOAuth
My env:
GAE Version: 1.9.52
org.apache.amber Version: version 0.22-incubating
I have below exception. Seem like the problem happen when getting access token from oAuthClient object. And those warnings are before the exception should be related to oAuthClient construction.
p/s: Same warning and exception even after I changed the org.apache.amber.oauth2 package to org.apache.oltu.oauth2 (vesion 1.0.2):
OAuthProblemException{error='invalid_request', description='Missing parameters: access_token', uri='null', state='null', scope='null', redirectUri='null', responseStatus=0, parameters={}}
at org.apache.oltu.oauth2.common.exception.OAuthProblemException.error(OAuthProblemException.java:59)
Any help?

Problem fixed after I changed the response class from GitHubTokenResponse to OAuthJSONAccessTokenResponse in oAuthClient.accessToken(...) method.
That is because the documents on Apache oltu is outdated

Where exchange OAuth code for an access token response from Facebook is now in json format, eg:
{"access_token":"","token_type":"bearer"}

I'm new to Java and Google Cloud Endpoints, I'm trying to follow this article http://rominirani.com/2014/01/10/google-cloud-endpoints-tutorial-part-1/ to build my first application.

But after I write a very simple application, When I tried to access http://localhost:8888/_ah/api/explorer, the browser shows

How can I fix this problem?
java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: Unsupported major.minor version 52.0
You're trying to compile and run it with Java 8 which is not yet supported on App Engine. The solution is to use Java 7.
I had this same exact issue, and for some reason I had two different versions of App Engine jars in the classpath. Removed the duplicate, and then worked like a charm. In other words, check to make sure your lib is in good order.

Look here at "Serializing Java objects" part.
If you want to use some class in gwt rpc, it must be serializable. A class is serializable if it meets these three requirements:
It implements either Java Serializable or GWT IsSerializable
interface, either directly, or because it derives from a superclass
that does.
Its non-final, non-transient instance fields are
themselves serializable
It has a default (zero argument)
constructor with any access modifier (e.g. private Foo(){} will work)
Source code of this class probably changed so it became non-serializable.

"JsonParser$Feature is a restricted class." error on Google App Engine while authorizing BigQuery Access

I have a Google App Engine project that I'm trying to implement Google BigQuery for XML caching.I'm using the CredentialUtils class from BQ tutorials for offline web server authorization. I have created the client_secrets and all that.
I've been trying my best for solving this, tried newest library releases yet to no avail. What would you suggest?
Here's the error log.

Not sure if I understand the question, but why not use App Engine Service accounts? https://developers.google.com/bigquery/authorization#service-accounts-appengine

Using dropbox Java API with Google App Engine

I am trying to use Dropbox's java API in GAE to override a dropbox file.
I am using putFileOverwrite API to the override file contents however the api throws an "access denied (java.lang.RuntimePermission modifyThreadGroup)" error. Which I figured out was due the fact that multithreading programming is not allowed in GAE, so i updated the code in AbstractSession.java wherein i made IdleConnectionCloserThread a normal class and not a thread.
Now when i try to run the function, i get java.net.Socket exception.
Does any1 have any suggestions as to how to get the Dropbox + GAE setup working ?
The source code :
AccessType ACCESS_TYPE = AccessType.APP_FOLDER;
AppKeyPair appKeys = new AppKeyPair(APP_KEY, APP_SECRET);
AccessTokenPair accessTokenPair = new AccessTokenPair(ACCESS_TOKEN, ACCESS_KEY);
WebAuthSession session = new WebAuthSession(appKeys, ACCESS_TYPE, accessTokenPair);
DropboxAPI<WebAuthSession> dropboxApi = new DropboxAPI<WebAuthSession>(session);
String fileContents = "Hello world";
ByteArrayInputStream inputStream = new ByteArrayInputStream(fileContents.getBytes());
try
{
dropboxApi.putFileOverwrite("/myFile.txt", inputStream, fileContents.length(), null);
}
catch(DropboxException e)
{
}
The exception i get after using the dropbox's jar AS-IS :

This shows up very high in a Google search for Dropbox gae, so for those who stumble upon it:
The java sdk as of this post will work with GAE provided you replace the use of HttpsURLConnection with HttpURLConnection. GAE will handle https automatically.
