Can complex object be saved fro slots in ibm watson conversation - ibm-watson

Is there any way of saving complex context in ibm watson conversation from slots.
For eg if i have to save in case of bank Employee name inside account number
{
"context":{
"accountNo":{
"value":"12345678",
"AccountType":{
"value":"savings"
}
}
}
}
can this hierarchy be made using slots.
Such as
#accountNumber goes in accountNo.value
#AccountType goes in accountNo.AccountType.value

Not sure about your doubt, but, maybe this information will help you. If you want to save the value from #accountNumber and #AccountType entity inside the context variable in this JSON, you can set with:
{
"context":{
"accountNo":{
"value":"<? #accountNumber ?>",
"AccountType":{
"value":"<? #AccountType ?>"
}
}
}
}
And for access these values you can use the $accountNo.value and $AccountType.value
But with slots, you can check for the #entity and save as $someVariable in the config. Like this example from one IBM Professional #Simon O'Doherty:
Obs.: In this case you need to change the Check for 1: #accountNumber and Check for 2: #AccountType and save it as $accountNo and $AccountType.
Obs.: The value of the entity needs to be typed from the user before, and this value will be stored in this context variable when we set.

watson conversation entities array

I create one entities with a few fruits (apple, banana, orange, avocado)
When my user say any intent that I need to check if have one #Fruits work fine, but if my user say 2 or more fruits I need to save all in one array. how can I does this using slots? because in my test he save only the last (if I print $myFruits)
tks
When the user types two values or more, and this values was inside one entity, the values will be save inside array, and you can access the entity. For example...
You can see in my example, if I types two flavor's, will appear in my console the two values in one array...
Dialog:
Console:
So, if you want all values from the entity #fruits. you can use this method for saves inside one context variable (E.g: $fruits):
<? entities['fruits'][0].value + entities['fruits'][1].value ?> //if types two fruits
And for this to be shown in your dialog, you can use this method:
{
"output": {
"text": "This is the array: <? $fruits.join(', ') ?>"
}
}
The return will be:
This is the array: calabresa, marguerita,
If you want to access all values from your entity with code, you need to access the return from the calling message (for access entities, intents, context variables, etc), and use the following code:
var arrayEntitie = response.entities
for (var i=0; i < arrayEntitie.length; i++) {
if (arrayEntitie[i].name === 'calabreza') { //make your condition
//do something
}
}
Official documentation for accessing methods here.
You can see this Github repository by IBM Developer using context variables here.
Simple way to do is by using #EntityName.values . It will store all the values of given entity in context in form of array.

CakePHP: Scaffolding after having written edit/view/add

I have an application in which we give a very friendly interface for managing data. This is done through many controllers' add/edit/view functions. But now the requirement has come that we should have "super admins" able to edit anything, and scaffolding will give them a quick and dirty manner of changing data. Since scaffolding uses add/edit/view by default, I've unintentionally overwritten the ability to scaffold.
I can't just go and change all my calls to edit/add for our "user friendly" data managing. So I want to essentially ignore the add/edit/view when, for example, a user has a flag of "yes, please let me scaffold". I imagined it would be something like:
public function edit($id) {
if (admin_user) {
$scaffold;
} else {
[user-friendly version code]
}
}
But no dice. How can I achieve what I want?
suppose you already have admin users and you want to scaffold only super-user:
Also suppose you store the information about beeing a super-user or not in a column named super in the users table
in your core.php
Configure::write('Routing.prefixes', array('admin', 'super));
in your appController
public $scaffold = 'super';
beforFilter() {
if($this->Auth->user('super') && !isset($this->params['super'])
$this->redirect(array('super' => true));
}
Now I can't try this code but the idea should work.
edit: we need to check if we are already in a super_action to avoid infinite redirect

Update Multi-Picklist on updating custom object

I have custom object KeywordAccountAssociation__c. This object has three fields
Account__c - Master-Detail(Account)
Keyword__c - Master-Detail(Keyword)
Compositecp__c - Text(255) (External ID) (Unique Case Sensitive)
I have a custom field in Account
DD_Segment__c - multi-picklist
Now I want to update (Insert is fine too) values of DD_Segment__c whenever KeywordAccountAssociation__c is updated. I could write trigger for this but I don't know how? I am new to Salesforce Development and my background is ruby (so getting accustomed to apex is bit difficult for me).
KeywordAccountAssociation__c has multiple rows of Account__c which has same account_id and those account_id are related to a record of custom object Keyword__c. I want to get all keywords related to one account and update in its (account's) multi-picklist. How can I achieve this? If you have doubts about this please do ask. Thanks!
One issue is related to learning to work with triggers in general, which can be started with Salesforce Apex Developer Documents on Triggers
but to answer your actual question, you would essentially need to build a trigger against your custom object that would update the related account. It might look something like this:
trigger keywordAccountUpdate on KeywordAccountAssociation__c (after insert, after update){
set<id> = new set<id>();
for (KeywordAccountAssociation__c a : Trigger.new)
accountIds.put(a.Account__c);
map<id,Account> accountMap = new map<id,Account>([select id, DD_Segment__c from Account where id in :accountIds]);
for (KeywordAccountAssociation__c kaa : Trigger.new){
if (AccountMap.containskey(kaa.Account__c)){
Account thisAccount = AccountMap.get(kaa.Account__c);
String s = thisAccount.DD_Segment__c + ';new value'; // Always add value
if ((thisAccount.DD_Segment__c).contains('second value')
s += ';second value';
AccountsToUpdate.add(new Account(id=thisAccount.id, DD_Segment__c = s));
}
}
}
Please keep in mind that I don't have the structure to test this trigger, I just free handded it, so YMMV.

how status of Product in Magento get changed/saved?

I am eager to know how status of Product in Magento get changed/saved?
Requirement-:
Suppose there are existing products which are enabled in Magento...Now If admin Disable particular product from Backend then I need to catch that particular product's Id through code in Magento file system?
So from where Can I get disabled product's id in Magento code? What is the file location & function name for the same? how Can I get that particular id?
Please guide me...
I think the down voting here is a bit unfair. The op is only asking one question - how to get the product id and status of a product after it has been saved.
#Sam - in Magento, instead of finding the exact point in code where a product is being saved, you would typically hook into an event by creating a custom module and use the Magento event/observer facility from within that module.
Have a look through this tutorial which will guide you through the process of creating a module with event/observers: http://www.magentocommerce.com/wiki/5_-_modules_and_development/0_-_module_development_in_magento/customizing_magento_using_event-observer_method
Specifically related to your question: the event you are looking for is catalog_product_save_after.
The xml for your event would look similar to this:
<events>
<catalog_product_save_after>
<observers>
<yourmodule>
<class>Yourcompany_Yourmodule_Model_Observer</class>
<method>catalog_product_save_after</method>
</yourmodule>
</observers>
</catalog_product_save_after>
</events>
Your observer is going to look similar to this:
class Yourcompany_Yourmodule_Model_Observer
{
public function catalog_product_save_after($observer)
{
$product = $obvserver->getEvent()->getProduct();
$productStatus = $product->getStatus();
$productId = $product->getId();
}
}
Note - code is untested

What is the equivalent to getLastInsertId() in Cakephp?

If I do getLastInsertId() immediately after a save(), it works, but otherwise it does not. This is demonstrated in my controller:
function designpage() {
//to create a form Untitled
$this->Form->saveField('name','Untitled Form');
echo $this->Form->getLastInsertId(); //here it works
}
function insertformname() {
echo $this->Form->getLastInsertId(); //this doesnt echo at all
}
Please suggest a way to get the functionality I want.
CakePHP has two methods for getting the last inserted id: Model::getLastInsertID() and Model::getInsertID().
Actually these methods are identical so it really doesn't matter which method you use.
echo $this->ModelName->getInsertID();
echo $this->ModelName->getLastInsertID();
This methods can be found in cake/libs/model/model.php on line 2768
Just use:
$this->Model->id;
In Cake, the last insert id is automatically saved in the id property of the model. So if you just inserted a user via the User model, the last insert id could be accessed via $User->id
id - Value of the primary key ID of
the record that this model is
currently pointing to. Automatically
set after database insertions.
Read more about model properties in the CakePHP API Docs: http://api.cakephp.org/2.5/class-AppModel.html
Edit: I just realized that Model::getLastInsertID() is essentially the same thing as Model->id
After looking at your code more closely, it's hard to tell exactly what you're doing with the different functions and where they exist in the grand scheme of things. This may actually be more of a scope issue. Are you trying to access the last insert id in two different requests?
Can you explain the flow of your application and how it relates to your problem?
You'll need to do an insert (or update, I believe) in order for getLastInsertId() to return a value. Could you paste more code?
If you're calling that function from another controller function, you might also be able to use $this->Form->id to get the value that you want.
Try using this code in your model class (perhaps in AppModel):
function get_sql_insert_id() {
$db =& ConnectionManager::getDataSource($this->useDbConfig);
return $db->lastInsertId();
}
Caveat emptor: MySql's LAST_INSERT_ID() function only works on tables with an AUTO_INCREMENT field (otherwise it only returns 0). If your primary key does not have the AUTO_INCREMENT attribute, that might be the cause of your problems.
this is best way to find out last inserted id.
$this->ModelName->getInsertID();
other way is using
$this->ModelName->find('first',array('order'=>'id DESC'))
There are several methods to get last inserted primary key id while using save method
$this->loadModel('Model');
$this->Model->save($this->data);
This will return last inserted id of the model current model
$this->Model->getLastInsertId();
$this->Model-> getInsertID();
This will return last inserted id of model with given model name
$this->Model->id;
This will return last inserted id of last loaded model
$this->id;
Try to use this code. try to set it to a variable so you can use it in other functions. :)
$variable = $this->ModelName->getLastInsertId();
in PHP native, try this.
$variable = mysqli_insert_id();
This will return last inserted id of last loaded model
$this->id;
This will return last inserted id of model with given model name
$this->Model->id;
This will return last inserted id of the model current model
CakePHP has two methods for getting the last inserted id:
Model::getLastInsertID() and Model::getInsertID().
echo $this->ModelName->getInsertID();
echo $this->ModelName->getLastInsertID();
Below are the options:
echo $this->Registration->id;
echo $this->Registration->getInsertID();
echo $this->Registration->getLastInsertId();
Here, you can replace Registration with your model name.
Thanks
Use this one
function designpage() {
//to create a form Untitled
$this->Form->saveField('name','Untitled Form');
echo $this->Form->id; //here it works
}
You can get last inseted id with many ways.Like Model name is User so best way to fetch the last inserted id is
$this->User->id; // For User Model
You can also use Model function but below code will return last inserted id of model with given model name for this example it will return User model data
$this->User->getLastInsertId();
$this->User->getInsertID();
When you use save(), the last insert ID is set to the model’s $id property. So:
if ($this->Model->save()) {
printf('Last insert ID was %s', $this->Model->id);
}
Each time a save method is called on a model, cake internally calls Model::getLastInsertId() and stores the result into model class attribute id, so after calling save() it is not necessary to call Model::getLastInsertId() or inserId(), as tha value can be directly accessed like this
$id = $this->id;// within a model
$id = $this->{$this->modelName}->id;// in a controller
After insertion of data, we can use following code to get recently added record's id:
$last_insert_id=$this->Model->id;
each time you perform an insert operation on any model, cake internally fetchesthe last insert Id and Sets to Model->id attribute.
so one can access it directly by $Model->id;,
no need to query again for lastInsertId.
I think it works with getLastInsertId() if you use InnoDB Tables in your MySQL Database. You also can use $this->Model->id
$Machinedispatch =
$this->Machinedispatch->find('first',array('order'=>array('Machinedispatch.id DESC')));
Simplest way of finding last inserted row. For me getLastInsertId() this not works.
Actually you are using the getLastInsertId or getInsertId in a wrong manner.
getLastInsertId() is meant to work only after save() method.
It will even not work after a manual insert, as cake engine is storing the mysql_insert_id under $this->_insertID inside the save method which can be retrieved via the getLastInsertId or getInsertId.
Now in your case
$this->Model->id
OR
$this->Model->find('first',array('order'=>'id DESC'))
Will do.
This is interesting, I also stumbled upon this issue. What you asked perhaps how to get the last ID of a certain model regardless of it's state, whether it's just been inserted or not. To further understand what getInsertID does, we need to take a look at the source:
Link 1: http://api20.cakephp.org/view_source/model#line-3375
public function getInsertID() {
return $this->_insertID
}
Yup, that's the only piece of code inside that function. It means that cakephp caches any last inserted ID, instead of retrieve it from the database. That's why you get nothing if you use that function when you haven't done any record creation on the model.
I made a small function to get the last ID of a certain table, but please note that this should not be used as a replacement of getLastID() or getLastInsertID(), since it has an entirely different purpose.
Add the function lastID() to the AppModel as shown below so that it can be used system wide. It has it's limit, which can't be used on model with composite primary key.
class AppModel extends Model {
public function lastID() {
$data = $this->find('first',
array(
'order' => array($this->primaryKey . ' DESC'),
'fields' => array($this->primaryKey)
)
);
return $data[$this->name][$this->primaryKey];
}
}
Original Source : Class Model
In CakePHP you can get it by:
Model::getInsertID() //Returns the ID of the last record this model inserted.
Model::getLastInsertID() //Alias to getInsertID().
$this->Model->field('id', null, 'id DESC')
