I would like to prevent toolbar buttons in a Quill editor from having a tabindex. How can I do this?
Quill offers two ways to get a toolbar at the two ends of the customization spectrum. One is you pass in an array of formats that you want and Quill builds the toolbar for you (in this case with a tabindex). The other is you give Quill whatever container you want (with or without a tabindex) and Quill attaches the appropriate handlers. If the former is not to your liking then the latter is the alternative.

I am using the Quill editor (via ngx-quill) to give my user the ability to edit documents. When the documents are displayed I show them like this:
<div [innerHTML]="doc.text"></div>
This works reliably, but the styling of the content of the div tag is quite different from what you see in the Quill editor window. What I want to do is apply the Quill content stylesheet to my div tag, but I haven't been able to find any document to do that. Does anyone here know how to do that?
I know one alternative is to invoke a Quill editor in read-only mode and without a tool-bar. That's my fall-back but I would prefer not to do that.
I was facing the same issue. Some inline styles are displayed, but the styles applied from the Quill.js class are not applied. post-content is class of div containing the content:
let content=document.querySelector('.post-content')
content.innerHTML=content.innerText
I've a GUI built app and I set many Icon images in the code for some components.
The thing is I've made sure all "padding" and "margin" values are the same for the different states of the components (unselected, pressed, etc) but when I try to input data into the TextFields, it seems like the dimensions of some components change without notice and they completely mess with my layout.
Even sometimes some of the icons partially disappear. Please see the following screenshot of before and after text input, where the Container and TextFields shrink
I really don't know what else I can do. I have tried many things, but stil the same outcome. Please help.
You need to make the container housing all this components scrollable.
Use Millimeters for your TextField padding and margin, don't use Screen Percentage. From the image in the images you posted, 2mm top and bottom and 1mm left and right would be suitable.
If the components having those icons are pressable like a button, be sure to set their pressedIcon to the same icon.
Lastly, style your TextField Unselected state and copy this to Selected and Pressed states, to avoid erroneous styling.
I'm trying to create Custom Form configuration with scrollable TitleArea. The Form (black) has a BoxLayout.Y_AXIS Layout in BorderLayout.CENTER (blue). StatusBar (green) stays in BorderLayout.NORTH (green), when rest of the TitleArea (cyan) is in the first position in BoxLayout.
removeComponentFromForm function is unavailable for using in extended class. How can I remove components from Form to removing titleArea from BorderLayout.NORTH?
Why use the title area at all? Why not just add a component to the top of the box layout Y and style it as a Title that way you can scroll it out?
You can also use the new Toolbar API that includes many abilities to fade out the title as you scroll etc. See:

Using ExtJS5 I want my toolbar buttons to look like the normal ExtJS buttons. In the documentation I see the CSS Mixins but I am not putting things together. Can someone give me a kick in the right direction? Thanks.
Use defaultButtonUI in your toolbar:
defaultButtonUI : 'default'
See documentation of defaultButtonUI:
A default ui to use for Button items. This is a quick and simple way
to change the look of all child Buttons.
If there is no value for defaultButtonUI, the button's ui value will
get -toolbar appended so the Button has a different look when it's a
child of a Toolbar.

How can I create a theme for a dialog box?
I was trying to change the border style of the dialog box but the border style applies 2 times for an inner element and for an outer element. I was expected that the border style applies only to the inner element.
To be clearer, as I cannot add image to my post, it seems that the dialog does not consist only from the center box which is showed while dialog is active. The dialog UI consists from a “background form” which usually is transparent and from a container which overlay over the background form. The last mentioned container contains de graphic representation of the “dialog box”.
My issue is that I can not apply my style only to the container which contains the dialog box but the style applies also to the background form.
How can I apply the border style only to the dialog box container element?
Any additional tips will be highly appreciated.
Thanks.
How are you applying the style? Are you using the theme to apply a style to the Dialog UIID as explained here.
Using setStyle or getStyle on a dialog component would be problematic and would not result in proper styling (you might get away with doing it on getDialogComponent but you should work with the theme).
Notice that to style a dialog you should use Dialog, DialogTitle & DialogBody UIID's and quite a few theme constants.
Thanks Shai,
is clear now.
I’m doing a custom dialog starting from the BlankDialog element provided in designer.
Because I started from BlankDialog I thought that overriding only UIID theme is enough.
I understood the BlankDialog structure wrongly thinking that is a simple empty form because is named "Blank…"
Is clear now that for every new UI object added, I should check if it has any other UI child to be customized together with the parent.
Thanks again.
