Real name of view IBM Notes 9

I am currently trying to track down a problem in another persons agent. The agent crashes when it performs a lookup with a certain view in another database (I do not have designer access to it). In order to see whats wrong I wanted to take a look at the view and see if its empty or not. Problem is that I only have the "real name" of the view and navigation in Notes only gives me the "display name" which is totally different.
I searched the entire client if is possible to navigate to the view by "real name" but I did not find anything. Does anyone know?
If you have a properly installed Notes client, and a version of Windows which includes PowerShell, you can do the following after you open a Powershell prompt:
$ns = New-Object -COM Lotus.NotesSession
$ns.Initialize()
$db = $ns.GetDatabase("Server", "Filepath")
$db.Views | sort Name | ft Name, Aliases -auto
If the Notes type library is properly installed, you should execute the first command without issues.
If the client is properly installed and you entered the right password, the Notes session should have been properly initialized.
If the server and filepath are correct, the third instruction should execute without issues.
If all goes well, you will get a sorted list of all the views in the database, with their corresponding aliases (I think you are referring to the alias of a view when you refer to the "real name").
Edit: I should clarify that "all the views in the database" only includes the views that are visible for you. The database ACL may block you from accessing some views.
You can use the NotesPeek tool. It will let you explore everything in the database that you have rights to see, using a tree-style UI.
I hope this two tips will help you:
Shortcuts to open also hidden views in the database:
How to display hidden views in a Notes/Domino database
Or if point 1. does not help you try to make a toolbar action with the following formula:
OpenView #Command
and then, open the database where you think the view is and run the toolbar action.
If you are not familiar how you can make toolbar action mabye this link will help you:
Customize toolbar functionality and buttons
You know view's "real name" (= alias).
Create a button or agent somewhere with following LotusScript code:
Dim workspace As New NotesUIWorkspace
Call workspace.OpenDatabase("yourServer", "yourDatabasePath", "yourViewRealName")
or with following formula:
#Command([FileOpenDatabase]; "yourServer" : "yourDatabasePath"; "yourViewRealName")
and execute it in Notes Client. It will open the view.
As an alternative, copy the database to Local with the option "Application design only" and without option "Access Control List" and explore it in Designer.

How to reset pgAdmin4 GUI?

I tried Ctrl++, Ctrl+-, then pgAdmin4 v1.1 (on Windows 10 Pro x64) error. Then, I tried re-install, but error still exist:
How to fix this error?
RESET Layout :
1.The pgAdmin menu bar displays the following selections: File, Object, Tools, and Help.*
Use the File menu to access the following options:
File -> Reset Layout
OR
Open the browser console and run following :-
pgAdmin.Settings.show()
This should pop up dialog: "Are you sure you want to reset the current layout? ..."
I had this error too. The menu item "Reset Layout" was not visible. Actually NO menu item was visible, so I dug up the actual method that is triggered by the "Reset Layout".
To fix, do this:
Open the browser console
Paste this JavaScrips code: pgAdmin.Settings.show()
This should pop up dialog: "Are you sure you want to reset the current layout? ..."
Like a web-page, press Ctrl + 0 for reset zoom level.
Neither of the mentioned methods worked for me to reset the pgAdmin layout. Finally, what helped, was to delete the ..\AppData\Roaming\pgAdmin\ directory and install again.
go to file option and select reset layout.
https://www.pgadmin.org/docs/pgadmin4/dev/pgadmin_menu_bar.html
Zoom in: Ctrl + Shift + +
Zoom out: Ctrl + -
For the pgAdmin desktop app, I deleted the .pgadmin (hidden) folder from my Home Directory on my Unix machine. Using the command:
rm -rf ~/.pgadmin
But be aware as it will delete all your saved connections too.
..\AppData\Roaming\pgAdmin\runtime_config.json
change prop "zoomLevel": 1,

Unable to click Settings link

scenario is:
1. login to google calendar
2. click on on settings icon on the top right corner of the page
3. click the settings link
When I search the element using the xpath in firebug I am able to find 1 match for each of them. But during the script execution, it is able to click on the settings icon, but unable to click on the settings link. Below is the code to find and click settings icon and settings link
//Select the settings icon : This is working
driver.findElement(By
.xpath(".//*[#id='mg-settings']/div")).click();
//click on Settings link : This is not working even though element is available
driver.findElements(By.xpath("//*[#id=':k']/div[text()=\"Settings\"]")).click();
Pay attention to the "s" at the end (you are using driver.findElements instead of driver.findElement). Probably that is just a typo.
Also I would not recommend tie to IDs like ":k". They are dynamic and can be changed any time.
Based on the Google Calendar structure I would recommend trying the following:
driver.findElement(By.xpath("//*div[contains(#class, 'goog-menuitem')]/div[contains(#class, 'goog-menuitem-content') and text() = 'Settings']")).click();

adding actions to button, error code

I'm working on an app project on codenameone and I want to add an action so that every time a user types some text, into a text area on a screen of the app, it gets added to a box (Json). So I select the text area on the screen, I click on "events" and select "action events". Usually nothing should appear at this point, but I get a window asking to give a name and save a file.
Since I inserted the name and save to close the window, when I repeat all the process and select "Action Events" an error message is shown:
"Error opening Netbeans (...) Cannot running program (...)* : Create process error=2, Specified file not found".
*the name which follows is the one I created when the window appeared to me.
I also created the project again and I'm having the same problem here: by going to "Events" and clicking on "Action Events" I got the same error:
"Error opening Netbeans (...) Cannot running program (...)* : Create process error=2, Specified file not found".
You need to setup Netbeans, Open your theme.res by double clicking.
Choose Codename One -> Advance -> Reset Netbeans Settings. Then,
Choose file -> setup Netbeans and navigate to where your Netbeans.exe is, On my PC I did the this:
This PC -> Program Files -> Netbeans 8.1 -> bin -> netbeans.exe (or netbeans64.exe).
Your steps may be similar, depending on your computer.
Save theme.res and try again.

Issue with configuring conTEXT to compile for Unrealscript

I have been going through Rachel Cordone's Unreal Development Kit Game Programming with UnrealScript Beginner's Guide book and having an issue using the conTEXT text editor.
As per instructed through the book I have followed all the steps to configure it but it won't compile once I press F9 - considering the last step to configure is to set the Enivronment Options/Execute Keys section. Here are the steps the book lays out (just that certain tab):
7) Now we are going to set up the conText to compile code. On the Execute Keys tab, click on Add, then type .uc into the Extensions field that comes up.
8) Once that's done four keys, F9 through F12, will show up in the User Exec Keys window. Let's click on F9 to make it convenient. Once clicked the option on the right become available.
9) For the Execute line, click on the button to the right of the field and navigate to out UDK installation's Binaries\Win64 folder, and select UDK.exe. For Start In, copy the Execute line but leave out UDK.exe.
10) In the Parameters field, type "make" without the quote marks. This tells UDK.exe that we want to compile code instead of opening the game.
11) Change Save to All Files Before Execution.
12) Check Capture Console Output and Scroll Console to the Last Line...
Then all I have to do is press F9 and it will compile - but it doesn't! It gives me:
No user command associated with extension '.uc'
Use 'Environment Options/Execute Keys' dialog to assign commands.
It seems it is not registering the changes no matter what I do (yes I clicked apply before saying okay but even still nothing). Any ideas?
The instructions may be out of date. You'll need to select your ".uc" entry, hit "Edit", and change it to just "uc".
Also, if you use UDK.com instead of UDK.exe the console output will go directly into Context instead of going to a separate popup.
