Angular CLI build file size output shown not matching with actual on disk - angularjs

I am using Angular CLI (1.2.6) and Angular(4.3.2) and running following command
ng serve --aot --prod --proxy-config config/proxy.config.json
Or
ng build --aot --prod --proxy-config config/proxy.config.json
If you see below output vendor..bundle.js** showing 4.59 MB But if I open dist folder and check, its showing me 1.47 MB on disk.
So likewise for
vendor.**.bundle.js - showing(4.59 MB), on disk (1.47 MB)
main.**.bundle.js - showing(1.89MB), on disk (870KB)
So want to know, why this has difference ?

The asset size fix was made and is part of release 1.3.0 (currently RC)

Publishing create-react-app to Azure getting git checkout error when running pipeline how can I fix this?

I'm new to Microsoft Azure DevOps and I'm trying to run a new pipeline I created. I have the git repo connected to Azure and can few the repo files there, the react app is within an nested folder. I have set the npm agent tasks to use this folder as the working folder though. When I run the pipeline I get this error under 'Checkout Fridge Manager#main to s'. Firstly, I don't have a branch called s so I'm wondering if maybe there is a typo there, here is the log: (I have removed some lines which are just recieving objects to be able to post entire log I believe the problem will be found in other lines)
I would also like to say apologies for any incorrect use of terminology or tagging, I have no idea what I'm doing here I'm just trying to deploy a school project web app i've been working on.

You could output the predefined System variable System.DefaultWorkingDirectory, and will find its value looks like c:\agent_work\1\s. The s mean the source folder and its meaning is the local path on the agent where your source code files are downloaded. Thus why you see Checkout Fridge Manager#main to s.
In addition, this error error: unable to create symlink Fridge Manager v0.5/mern-proto-app/***: Filename too long seems to be caused by Git limitation when checkout the file and its file path is too long. You could copy the react app to the root directory instead of an nested folder and then check the result. In other hand, it might be caused broken symlink by reference to this doc: Git: unable to create symlink (File name too long). You could try to checkout this repo locally to confirm this point.

testcafe compilation failure due to `import type` - requires update to Typescript version 3.8

TLDR:
The version of TS that gets installed with testcafe is version 3.5.3. However, in order to use import Type syntax, which is used by various libraries, such as jest/create-react-app, etc, we need to be on TS version 3.8 at minimum.
When I try to run a TS file with testcafe, the error I get is the following:

How to make Webpack splitChunks work with Webpack-dev-server?

I am trying to use splitChunks in Webpack 4, expecting to bundle the modules in node_modules into one bundle that won't be re-compiled each time I make a change to my code.
I added this code in my webpack.config.js:

And I added this line in my index.html:

The file 'vendor~app.js' being the new bundle generated.
When I run the webpack-dev-server the first time, it says:

Webpack-dev-server fails to compile the same source as Webpack

I'm trying to configure webpack-dev-server, but keep getting the error

After updating some of the packages, my compilation fails. And the error doesn't seems to be very helpful.
I have no clues where the error is. Already tried removing a lot of things, and the errors persists.
