Unable to route to different templates in angularjs - angularjs

Here, I am unable to route, i have files in the same folder as 'consumpt.html'
'fulfillment.html'
<html>
<head>
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.6.4/angular.min.js"></script>
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.6.4/angular-route.js"></script>
<script src="assets/jquery-1.12.4.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="assets/bootstrap-3.3.7/js/bootstrap-3.3.7.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
</head>
<body ng-app="myapp">
Fulfill
Consumpt
<div class='col-xs-12 rmpm' style='height:auto;' ng-controller="viewForNavigation">
<div ng-view></div>
</div>
<script>
angular.module('myapp', ['ngRoute']).config(function ($routeProvider) {
$routeProvider.when('/consumpt', {
controller: 'viewForNavigation',
templateUrl: 'consumpt.html'
});
$routeProvider.when('/', {
controller: 'viewForNavigation',
templateUrl: 'fulfillment.html'
})
});
</script>
</body>
</html>

I don't see any script tags which would load your controllers (they all look like 3rd-party dependencies). It looks like you still have to register your controllers with Angular:
angular.module('myapp').controller("viewForNavigation", ["dep1", "dep2", function(dep1, dep2) {
// Your controller code
}])
Also, you shouldn't need ng-controller in the view if you are putting it in the controller property of a route.

Angularjs route on button click is not working

I have been trying to make a angularjs application where I want to route to a different html page on a button click. But is not working for some unknown reasons.
My html code
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html ng-app="app">
<head>
<script data-require="angular.js#*" data-semver="1.3.0-beta.5" src="https://code.angularjs.org/1.3.0-beta.5/angular.js"></script>
<script data-require="angular.js#*" data-semver="1.3.0-beta.5" src="https://code.angularjs.org/1.3.0-beta.5/angular-route.js"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css" />
<script src="script.js"></script>
</head>
<body ng-controller="Controller">
<h1>Plunkr Example</h1>
<button ng-click="changeview()">ClickMe</button>
<h1>MainPage</h1>
</body>
</html>
My Code
var app = angular.module("app", ['ngRoute'])
app.config(['$locationProvider', function($locationProvider) {
$locationProvider.hashPrefix('');
}]);
app.config(['$routeProvider',
function ($routeProvider) {
$routeProvider.
when('/Details', {
templateUrl: 'details.html'
}).
when('/Main', {
templateUrl: 'main.html'
}).
otherwise({
redirectTo: '/Main'
});
}]);
app.controller("Controller", function($scope,$routeParams,$location){
//$scope.ProductId = $routeParams.id;
$scope.changeview = function () {
console.log('in function changeview');
$location.path('/Details');
}
})
Here is my plunkr
Please help.
You have missed to add the ng-view directive. It needs to be included for the routing to be able to rendered the templates
<div ng-view></div>
Working plunker
You need to have ng-view directive in index.html
<div class="viewWrapper">
<div ng-view></div>
</div>

Angular routing is not working properly

While i am trying to click on first and second page its not showing any thing, i have wasted lot of time on this but no output is coming, Files script.js index.html first.html and second.html
script.js
angular.module('RoutingApp', ['ngRoute'])
.config( ['$routeProvider', function($routeProvider) {
$routeProvider
.when('/first', {
templateUrl: 'first.html'
})
.when('/second', {
templateUrl: 'second.html'
})
.otherwise({
redirectTo: '/'
});
}]);
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.2/css/bootstrap.min.css">
<script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.2.26/angular.min.js"></script>
<script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.2.26/angular-route.min.js"></script>
<script src="script.js"></script>
</head>
<body ng-app="RoutingApp">
<h2>AngularJS Routing Example</h2>
<p>Jump to the first or second page</p>
<div ng-view>
</div>
</body>
</html>
first.html
<h2>This is the first page.</h2>
second.html
<h2>This is the second page.</h2>
Anchor(a) tag needs to be changed to match them with route URL. Those should have / in them.

or
second page

angular-ui-router doesn't work

I don't manage to route using ui-router. It does work for me with ng-route, so I must have missed something basic. There is no error but I don't get any view.
The following code does not work (except for the otherwise statement):
angular.module("employeesApp", ["ui.router"])
.config(function ($stateProvider, $urlRouterProvider) {
$stateProvider
.state('employeeList', {
url: "/employees",
templateUrl: "components/employee_list/employeeListView.html",
});
$urlRouterProvider.otherwise("/employees");
});
The following code does work:
angular.module("employeesApp", ["ngRoute"])
.config(function ($routeProvider) {
var employeeListRoute = {
templateUrl: "components/employee_list/employeeListView.html"
};
var otherwiseRoute = employeeListRoute;
$routeProvider
.when("/employeeList", employeeListRoute)
.otherwise(otherwiseRoute);
Here is my index.html (omitted not relevant elements):
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en" ng-app="employeesApp">
<head>
<title></title>
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.12.0/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.5.6/angular.min.js"></script>
<script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/angular-ui-router/0.3.1/angular-ui-router.js"></script>
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.5.6/angular-route.js"></script>
<script src="app.route.js"></script>
<script src="components/employee_list/employeeListCtrl.js"></script>
</head>
<body>
<div>
<ng-view />
</div>
</body>
</html>
What am I doing wrong when trying to use ui-router?
As #AminMeyghani already said, you should be using ui-view instead of ng-view directive to get router know that relative view should be loaded inside ui-view directive
<div>
<ui-view></ui-view>
</div>

App.js:
var TodoApp = angular.module("TodoApp", ["ngResource", "ngRoute"]).
config(function ($routeProvider) {
$routeProvider.
when('/', { controller: ListCtrl, templateUrl: 'list.html' }).
otherwise({ redirectTo: '/' });
});
var ListCtrl = function ($scope, $location) {
$scope.test = "testing";
};
List.html:
<h1>Hello: {{test}}</h1>
I am currently running the Localhost server via Visual Studio 2013. Please Help, Thanks!
You would need to include ngRoute inorder to use angular routing. So include ngRoute in your module as a dependency.
var TodoApp = angular.module("TodoApp", ["ngResource", "ngRoute"]).
config(.....
Also remember to include angular-route.js unless you are using very old version of angular that comes with routing as well. You can refer to the cdn http://code.angularjs.org/x.y.z/angular-route.js or download the file.

AngularJS: Load view from Controller?

I'd like to understand how to load a view from a controller ?
Example, hypothetical:
myFile.html
<p>{{foo}}</p>
.controller("myCtrl", function(){
$scope.html = loadFileHere("My foo", "myFile.html");
console.log($scope.html);
});
I'd expect the output:
<p>My foo</p>
Is this possible to do ?
Thanks!
I am guessing you are talking about loading partials? You wouldn't really load a view with a controller, although MAYBE you could...I would use your routes to load a view. Your controller would return your scoped data to your partial view and then you would load it into an ng-view div or whatever. So for example...
in your app.js (or whatever you call it) assuming your myFile.html is in the same directory:
angular.
module('app', []).
config(['$routeProvider', function($routeProvider) {
$routeProvider.
when('/myFile', { templateUrl: 'myFile.html', controller: MyCtrl }).
otherwise({ redirectTo: '/' });
}]);
Then maybe in a controllers.js file:
function MyCtrl($scope) {
$scope.foo = "My foo";
}
And then in your myFile.html partial :
<p>{{foo}}</p>
And then your index.html file may look something like:
<!doctype html>
<html ng-app="app">
<head>
<script src="js/angular.min.js"></script>
<script src="js/app.js"></script>
<script src="js/controllers.js"></script>
</head>
<body>
<div ng-controller="MyCtrl">
<div class="container">
<div ng-view></div>
</div> <!-- /container -->
</div>
</body>
</html>
