Launch PostgreSQL GUI - pgadmin-4

I have installed PostgreSQL v9.6 on Windows 7 using my user (PC-Admin), the problem is when I start Pgadmin4.exe the application shows that it is starting then freeze without showing the GUI , taking the following notes into consideration:
it is working fine for other users on the PC even if not in admin group.
I tried to uninstall it , delete registry folders for local machine & local user and also delete the temp folder and Apps roaming , also the folder of the program in c:/ drive and then re-install it again and problem has not been solved.
I believe that something went wrong during first time installation for my user
but I could not figure it out.
Please help me, what to do in order to clear my installation profile and then having the GUI launched after short while from starting the Pgadmin4.exe
Regards

Solved and GUI started ! just by disconnecting PC from internet before opening the application.

pgAdmin4 hosts desktop application on 127.0.0.1:(Random_Port) when started, So if you have proxy setup then upgrade to pgAdmin4 version1.6, It has resolved the this proxy related issue. (Link)

Publish WPF + EF Core App with Windows Installer Project

I have tried to create an .exe file to my WPF App and SQL Server related databse with EF Core using Windows Setup Installer Project.
I included all the dll's files from /bin/Release and built it for any CPU.
The Setup Project has been created successfully and it worked on my PC as I expected.
Otherwise when I try to install the Setup File on another PC, I can't even open it up and see what's wrong.
I guess the problem comes from the database but I can't find anything helpful on the internet.
So you get the application installed, run it and nothing happens, right? Here is what you do:
Run it. Watch nothing happen
Hit the Windows key and type "Event"
When "Event Viewer" appears in the list of applications, run it
In Event Viewer, go to Windows Logs >> Application
Near the top there will probably be an error entry. It will probably be related to your application. And if you were missing a key file needed to run your application, like a DLL, the name of the file will probably be in there in the details section
Go back to your installer and add that missing file. Or if that file is part of some support package (like, say, MS Redistributable for Visual C++) then add the installer for that too.

Citrix remote desktop not working on new computer

I got a new computer at work and I need to work remotely using citrix receiver. It works on my old computer. I download a .ica, launch it, and a remote desktop opens where I can work. The old computer had windows 7.
On the new computer, I installed the last version of citrix and tried, but it doesnt work. I dont get any error, it actually seems to work, but needs like 1 minute to detect my mouseclicks, until it finally disconnects. The new computer has windows 10.
I tried to uninstall the lastest version of citrix receiver, and install the same I have on the old computer (4.6) but the same happens.
So, the problem is it works VERY slow (1 minute to detect each click) and then before I even log into the remote machine, it just disconnects.
Im using the same network and citrix receiver version than in my old computer. Any idea if it can be windows 10 related or how can I find out what it is causing it?
Maybe this info can help: Ive noticed a difference when opening the network central. On my old computer (where it works) I see: Terminal Server - Citrix receiver. And at the bottom it says: 1 server 0 remote applications
On the new computer (doesnt work) it says: MAD-BDCOT-PS-02 - Remote Desktop Connection. And at the bottom: 1 server 1 remote application
That's the only difference I see, but Ive done the same in both cases.
Thanks
Made it work.
After trying many things for 2 days, even installing almost every citrix receiver version, a coworker gave me a file called CitrixOnlinePluginWeb, Instead of CitrixReceiver.
I dont know what it is, and I cant post a link since he gave it to me, but Im sure knowing the name makes it easy to find in google. With this, it worked.
By the way, I think the problem was windows 10, since before knowing this other installable, I tried in several computers, and it always worked on win7 ones and didnt on win10 ones.

how to deploy Windows WPF Application?

I have a simple Windows Form application(WPF) with entity framework. After compiled, only a few files generated:
EntityFramework.dll
EntityFramework.xml
MyApp.exe
MyApp.application
MyApp.exe.config
...
Then I just copy following files to a network shared folder:
EntityFramework.dll
MyApp.exe
MyApp.exe.config
Then I can double click on MyApp.exe from developer computer the launch the app, but can not launch from another end user computer.
How to resolve this problem?
When you double click, app is not launching means certainly it is crashing so type the command eventvwr in run or cmd it'll open the Event viewer in that go to Windows Logs and Click on Application, you can see different levels of logs in that just find the last error log view the details it might help you
Have a look in the event log on the target computer and look at the error that is actually being reported.
It could be a missing installation of the correct version of the DotNet framework as suggested in the comments above, or it could also be that the execution policy of the target computer is preventing the user from running from a network drive (As a developer you probably have admin rights on your local pc allowing you to do this).
Whatever the actual cause you are always better to use some form of installer, rather than this form of putting files on the network (commonly known as xcopy deployment).
Probably the best solution is to use Visual studio to generate you a click once installer and publish it to your network drive. This will then copy the application locally on the users pc and run it from there.

Unable to Deploy WP7 SDK Application on Windows Phone 8 Through VS2012

I have Registered my device for developer.
But after choosing device in VS2012 and start deploying , It Gives error .
Unable to install application. The maximum number of developer applications on this phone has been reached. Please uninstall a developer application and try again.
I am new to deployment on device . Please suggest .
Do you happen to have multiple Windows Phone 8 devices? It turns out that if you register two devices under the same name, this problem arises. I had registered two Windows Phone Devices for development, but I hadn't given them a unique name (they were both named the default, which is Windows Phone, I think). On the first device, I had multiple test apps installed and, obviously, on the second device, nothing was installed, hence my frustration regarding the error. I did the following to make it work:
Remove the phone(s) from the dev portal,
Unregister both devices using Windows Phone Developer Registration.
Rename the devices, making sure their names are not the same.
Re-register the phones again, now with new, unique names.
I hope it works for you as well.
Uninstall the unwanted applications from the device.
Restart the device
Try to deploy the solution. It will work now.
It means you have installed three(3) testing app. windows phone have limit of max 3 app installation for debug.
Uninstall one of your previously installed application.
Now deploy your new application again.
Hope will work now.

Helicon Ape build 0098: "Access to the path is denied" when enabling licenses

I just upgraded Helicon Ape to the latest build 0098. Then I opened the Helicon Ape Manager, went to "Help" -> "License Manager", selected one of my sites and chose "Enable free license". This message came up: "Access to the path is denied".
I made sure that I had free licenses available before I tried to enable it on that specific site. I also granted rights to "Everyone" in the security-settings of the website folder. It is also possible to explore the website folder in the Helicon Ape Manager.
Is anyone experiencing the same problem or have any idea what this could be?
Did you install Full or Free version?
What is your Windows version?
And why don't we continue looking into the problem on Helicon Tech helpdesk: http://support.helicontech.com/helpdesk/
In my case it just stopped working after a windows update. I upgraded to version 3.1.0.105 and followed the troubleshooting steps. I had to add read & list folder permissions for my IIS_USERS group to the Helicon folder in program files(x86).
This still didn't fix it. So I played with a few settings and at some-point in the process I removed .Net Framework v2.0xxxx from the app pool configuration (set it to No Managed Code.) After trying the debugger and everything else I could think of I decided to start over.
I uninstalled helicon. Reinstalled it from scratch. I re-added the IIS_USERS permissions to the Helicon application folder in Program Files (x86). And it still didn't work. Then I re-routed the application pool through .net and sure enough everything worked... which makes sense since APE is a .net application and uses .net hooks into iis.
Anyway, after doing all of that it is now working for me.
