Cannot export to a named Excel range using SSIS - sql-server

I am developing a SSIS package which is retrieving data from database and exporting it into a pre-formatted Excel file. This is not the first time I am doing this, but this time it won't work and I can't find out why..
As you can see in attached image, SSIS exports data successfully but writes it in the bad cells, I specified the value "operateur$B14:F19" in the OpenRowset property of Excel destination in SSIS though..
In addition, I am getting an error which is saying:
Cannot Expand Named Range
How can I fix this?

SSIS is not right tool set to solve this type of scenario. Use SSRS.
But any way you can try below steps.
Populate required data in table and use micro or data connection to populate excel...

Load excel files with different columns from a directory into database using SSIS package

I have 40 excel sheets in a single folder. I want to load them all in different tables sql server database through SSIS package. The difficulty I am having is because of different number and name of columns in each excel sheet.
Can this task be achievable through a single package?
Another option, if you want to do it in one data flow, you can write custom C# source component with multiple outputs. In the script task you'll figure out the file type and send the data to the proper output.
NPOI library(https://npoi.codeplex.com/) is a good way to read excel files in C#.
But if you have fixed file formats I would prefer to create N Data Flows inside Foreach loop container. Use regular Excel source components and just ignore errors in each data flow. This will let you get a file and try to load it in each data flow one by one. On error you will not fail the package but just go to the next data flow until you find the proper file format.
It can only be done, by adding multiple sources or using a script component, white a flag on what sheet it is. Then you can use a conditional split and enter multiple destinations.

Exporting Data to excel using SSIS and Data error

I have two different issues
1). I am trying to export data to excel from SQL Server database. The package will create a new excel file each day and insert the data from database to excel.
I want the column name to also be updated in the excel file. One way is to use a template and insert data into it. I don't want to use any kind of template as I want to create a new excel file daily. Is there any other method available ????
2). I am trying to export data from server to excel. DATATYPE in server database is numeric. I am using a data conversion and changing to unicode string and then inserting it to excel.

help me fix it. I need 0.000 to be exported to excel
1) Yes, instead of a dataflow you can use a Script task to create the Excel file and write the data to it, and that will allow you to dynamically name the columns.
2) It is not that SSIS is exporting that value to Excel. That's just the way Excel is displaying the data.

SSIS ignoring an Excel column completely

I am developing a new system to pull down IT ticket reports from an external system, import them periodically to a SQL DB, run calculations on the values and export the results.
I am using SSIS to import the excel reports to the DB. But when I setup my Excel Source, it seems to be ignoring the last column of the worksheet. I can't figure out why. All the datatypes are correct, and the import is working for all the other columns.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
If you could not find answer quickly, you could force the Excel connection manager to load data from which column to which column, try to locate open rowsetproperties in advanced properties window, for example, Sheet1$A1:Z will writes data to column A to column Z start from row #1 (regardless of the header)

Data conversion errors in export to Excel SSIS package

Building a package to pull data from SQL Server view and load it into an excel file. Getting a generic error (Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors... No work was done. Apparently this is usually from data type mis-matches. I am looking over the mapping in the Data Conversion task, but I don't see anything wrong. When I tried creating this in the Data Export wizard in SQL Server, I was getting truncation errors.
I have heard that I can use the "Derived Columns' task to fix the conversion failures, but I need to identify which columns are having trouble. How do I pinpoint the exact problem columns?
EDIT - Using BIDS 2008, exporting to an excel destination. I first tried with the import/export wizard in SSMS but kept failing, so I am now trying to do it in SSIS/BIDS.
I am currently getting the 0x80040E37 when I try to open the mapping tab in the Destination task. Apparently the fixes are to set to 32 bit or fix the mappings. I am running in 32 bit and I can't fix the mappings because the tab wont open because of this error.
The problem was Excel 2007 has a 255 length limit on fields. Two choices are to either switch your destination file type to 97-2003, or add a derived column task to truncate (substring) the field, which looses data. There is probably another option having to do with error handling and dumping the row off to a flat file or something.

Find and log missing/wrong named columns in Excel using SSIS 2012

I am new to SSIS. I am using SSIS 2012 to transfer data from Excel(COZYROC Excel Source Plus component) to SQL server database(OLE DB Destination). My requirement is whenever columns in the excel are not matched with mapped columns or any columns are missing, I should log the error message in the database.
Please help to resolve this problem.
I don't believe that is possible.
SSIS (and SSRS and other applications) require a 'contract' between source and destination such that any changes to the source will throw a mapping error and force the developer to re-map the data flow.
SSIS is not capable of a scenario such as 'if the source columns change, pump the rest and log the changes to another path'.
This is also an example of why Excel makes a terrible data source for a normalized database/ETL project, because users can easily change the Excel doc in such a way that would break data mapping.
