CRMAP7009 : CCRC Command "RemoveResource" failed - Clearcase - clearcase

I have created a view in ClearCase in which I have worked for sometime and then I was getting some issues in checkin and checkout afterwards so I have deleted that view and created new one which is working fine.
But now sudden I got to know that there are some files added to the source control which are reflecting and not required.
Issue: I went to clear team Navigator -> In sub stream Activities.
There I can see the activity that I committed.
On right click on activity, I can see only options: Remove Activity, Check in (which I cannot do), Disconnect, Show change set, refresh, remove properties.
Now when I trying to remove that activity it is giving an error:
CRMAP7009 : CCRC Command "RemoveResource" failed
I cannot share screenshots because it is restricted.
Does anyone having idea, how can I remove the activity?

It looks like you still have checked out files, but in a view that has been since deleted.
See if an admin can make sure your view is fully unregistered and remove for all vobs, which would make those files not checked out anymore.
See "Manually remove Web views for CCRC and CCWeb" (CC 7.x but could apply to 8 or 9), which involves:
cleartool rmview -uuid <uuid> -all
cleartool unregister -view -uuid <uuid>
Once those files are not checked out anymore, the activity will be empty, and you will be able to delete it.
The OP AIM confirms below:
we did not able to clear view from my end.
So admin went to the server and clear the views and the left checkouts and that helped
The way an admin would have clean this view on the server side is by running those same commands I mention above.

Oracle ADF - Redirect link is not working

I am developing a simple application using ADF comes with basic CRUD operations (create, read, update, delete). In this case, as you can see, I have dragged a link to the 1st column which is highlighted in yellow.
So whenever I deploy it and click that, it is supposed to redirect me to the Edit page where client will allow to make commit:
I did make sure the Action of link is associated with the Edit page (as highlighted in yellow above). However, the link wouldn't redirect me anywhere, no response. This is the unbounded task flow:
Okay so I have found out the solution. Due to the default setting, the application will be deployed on IE and this message will prompt out. As you can see, the message is mentioning about browser's compatibility. My IE is version 11.6, I'm not sure what's the issue here since my IE is kinda latest version but this message still pops out and affects the redirect link from working. However, simply copy the application URL to Google Chrome and run should fix this issue. Hope this helps in future.
If the two pages in the Unbounded Task Flow, then Add WildCard Control Flow Rule
and connect the two pages with the WildCard.
Or you can use the Popup instead of opening a new page for edit

Unable to add a new page in DNN9 (dotnetnuke version 9)

I installed dnn version 9. When I want to add a new page I go to the contents-> Pages-> Add page. an empty white page appears without any options to add a new page or event to cancel.
This is caused by a problem with your templates folder, either missing, or bad permissions. I'm guessing when you installed you chose the blank template?
I've got a blog post on things to try to resolve
http://www.chrishammond.com/Blog/itemId/2692/Canrsquot-add-ldquopagesrdquo-in-DNN9
"If you are having problems adding Pages in DNN 9, read this blog post.
I recently upgraded all of my sites to DNN 9, the most recent one being upgraded last night. This morning I wake up to an email from a client of mine reporting a problem with adding pages in one of their sites that they also upgraded to DNN recently. I read through their email, and decide that I’ll look into their issue a bit later, have an itch to scratch on one of my own websites, so I’ll get to them later (sorry client).
Working on this site that I upgrade last night, I decided I wanted to add another page to the site, low and behold, I was unable to do so.
To add a page in DNN9 you click on the “Content” option in the persona bar, and then the Pages option. There you will be presented with a view similar to this:
image
When I clicked on Add Page there, the screen went blank, like so:
image
That’s not very useful, actually that is as far from useful as possible. Once that happens, you can’t actually “do” anything from an Admin perspective. You have to “leave” this page, go somewhere else (click on manage/users for example, then you might need to click BACK in your browser a bunch of times) then you can click on Content/Pages again to get back into the Page listing for a site.
So why is the persona bar page blank? This error is the cause:
GET https://SOMEPORTALALIASHERE/API/PersonaBar/Pages/GetDefaultSettings? 500 (Internal Server Error)
If you dig into the DNN Error Log (Admin Logs) a bit you might find a more detailed error, something along the lines of
Message:Value cannot be null. Parameter name: source
StackTrace:
at System.Linq.Enumerable.FirstOrDefault[TSource](IEnumerable1 source, Func2 predicate) at Dnn.PersonaBar.Pages.Components.TemplateController.GetDefaultTemplateId(IEnumerable`1 templates) at Dnn.PersonaBar.Pages.Components.PagesControllerImpl.GetDefaultSettings() at Dnn.PersonaBar.Pages.Services.PagesController.GetDefaultSettings() at lambda_method(Closure , Object , Object[] ) at
So what does that message tell you? Well something is happening with your DNN Install trying to get a list of “page templates”. In digging further, on my site, I found the issue to be the File Permissions on the Templates folder in the portals/0/ directory. For some reason on the site that I upgraded last night, my permissions were set to ALL USERS DENY on the “Browse Files in Folder” and “Open Files in Folder” check boxes.
image
Unchecking those, clicking SAVE resolved my “pages” persona bar issues. How did those permissions get set? Who knows, this DNN site has been around since 2008 or earlier, and that never caused a problem.
There are definitely some “kinks” to be worked out of DNN9, but so far I am digging the new experience.
Regarding my “client”’s site, they had a similar, but different issue. In their case, the TEMPLATES folder didn’t exist in the Portal that they were trying to use. Simply creating a new Templates folder in their File Manager fixed that problem for their site."
I tried out many solutions but finally I figure it out by reinstalling and add Object Qualifier. because it is optional field I leave it without any value in my first installation
This error was fixed in DNN 9.0.1

unable to see update from repository in the view but is seen in the vob

I have a view with CCRC.
I want to update the vob from the repository, but it is not showing the option to update it from repository at view level. It is showing it at vob level.
Otherwise, other views are showing options of updating the vob from repository.
Updating an (CCRC web) ClearCase view is only possible if:
you are connected to the ClearCase server that supports it, and
you must create at least one load rule for the view.
So check the config spec associated to the view where this optio is not available.

Wordpress Error: Database Update Required

I'm currently working with a client right now that clicked to update a plugin on WordPress. He's unaware of what plugin it was that he updated because he's clicked update in the past for other plugins and they just updated, so he paid little attention to what it was he clicked.
His site is still up, but when I try to get into the back end using /wp-admin I'm hit with a message that states:
Database Update Required
WordPress has been updated! Before we send you on your way, we have to update your database to the newest version.
The update process may take a little while, so please be patient.
Update Wordpress Database
When I click on the button that says "Update WordPress Database" it does nothing. The browser spins and then shows me a blank white page with Wordpress at the top. I'm at a loss because I can't even login, it doesn't give me the option.
Any thoughts on what is happening? Thanks a bunch in advance for the assistance.
This is due to a missmatch between the databases versions you said you are using in the settings.
Please follow this steps:
Go to /wp-include/ folder and open the version.php.
Find the value for $wp_db_version, and write it down.
Now, open your database, check in the table called wp_options
Find the db_version value:
SELECT option_value FROM yourdatabase.wp_options WHERE option_name = 'db_version';
Those two values must be the same. Change it in the version.php file, not the database.

Restarting php-fpm service helped me, it clears cache on restart
sudo service php5-fpm restart
Hope that helps some folks out there.
Try clearing your browser cache
The option db_upgraded isn’t getting set by the upgrade process.
Try this: go to /wp-admin/options.php. Fill the field db_upgraded with a 0 (zero). Hit Save Changes.

Synchronize with stream clear case integration view

On my clear case integration view there is an option 'Synchronize with stream' which is sometimes enabled and sometimes disabled. What governs if this is enabled or disabled? Also it seems when i click this, it just updates the integration view. So why we need a separate function like 'Synchronize with stream' when we can just update the integration view?
That button is only active when the configuration of your view (ie the list of baselines listed by your config spec) isn't the same than the configuration of your stream.
The fact that is also update the view is only a side-effect of your view being a snapshot one.
For a snapshot view (ie a view on your disk):
updating only the view will update the content based only on the config spec of said view (unchanged)
synchronizing the view with the stream will trigger an update which will be based on the updated config spec of the view (ie the config spec of the view rewritten automaticaly for you, after reading the configuration of the associated Stream)
The fact that it updates your "integration view" is just because your view happens to be associated with the Integration Stream.
But as my previous answer on "Integration stream vs integration view in ClearCase" shows, there can be many other views (associated to many other sub-streams, also called "Development Streams").
Note: the cleartool command actually behind that button is:
cleartool -tag view setcs -stream.
If you execute it at the root directory of a snapshot view:
cleartool setcs -stream
It will trigger the update (after updating the config spec)
