Can we get dynamic value from angular in SCSS file [duplicate] - angularjs

Basically I want to use background color for each element as per user choice, user choice will be stored on database. User should webpage according to it's color profile. So, I need a idea to get that value from angular and store its value on scss variable and render it.

SCSS is a preprocessor, when you use SCSS it actually gets compiled into CSS and that's what you use.
Perhaps the best solution is to use ngStyle in the section you need.. body, div, or anywhere you want..
Example
<div ng-style="userStyle">
...
</div>
In your JS
$scope.userInfo = { backgroundColor: 'red' };
$scope.userStyle = {'background-color': $scope.userInfo.backgroundColor};
Assuming you have a userInfo object, with backgroundColor property.

This is not possible, angular is javascript code and runs in the clients browser, sass is pre-compiled to css, any variables will have been converted into the full values before it is rendered in the browser.
You would need to get angular to make a call to your server, and have the server generate a CSS file dynamically based on the value provided from angular. (I suppose you could do this on the client also, I'm sure there is a javascript library somewhere that lets you compile sass)

Scss compiled to css before build, so angular part can't control scss. You can use gulp/grunt to edit scss variables. But in your case it not helping.
The simple sulotion for you is to use ng-style.

How can we import js file variable in css file

I have tried to to that using this line of code but it doesn't work

and <script type="text/javascript" src="Script.js">
these two ways doesn't work.
in js file I have

and I want to import it in my css file how can i do it?
I do not believe this is possible in any way.
You can manipulate CSS with JavaScript to a certain extent, but it is mostly done through DOM manipulation (acting on class names) or generating CSS programmatically (but it is still CSS in the end).
I don't think it is ever possible to access "JavaScript world" from the scope of CSS.
However, if you want to use variable names in CSS to reference constants, like colors, sizes, etc., you can use the CSS custom properties feature : https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/Using_CSS_custom_properties

Chips autocomplete for Angular 1.6. No angular-material

I would need to add an autocomplete chips component in our Angular 1.6 application. We are using Typescript, Webpack 2. As we are already using angular-ui-bootstrap, we do not want to introduce also angular-material in order to avoid style conflicts. However the wished result is exactly what material chips provide.
Is there a directive or component that i can use in my case? I found this library but it runs endless exceptions when I import it.
unfortunately I could find only partial solutions with bootstrap typehead, but then I would need to implement all the "chips" part, making me think of re-inventing the wheel.
Stack Newb here. I have an identical problem as yours. Here's how I resolved this:
1. Resolve the ReferenceError: error is not defined within the angular-chips library
The library you used (angular-chips) wasn't designed with typescript in mind. So, you'll first need to resolve the following error ReferenceError: error is not defined by defining it for them in the line above with var error;. This should prepare angular-chips for your webpack useage.
The second issue you'll find is how to add your typeahead-template-url with webpack in the mix. Rather than referring to a separate html file, use an inline template as referenced here: Bootstrap-UI Typeahead display more than one property in results list?.
If you're lazy like me and don't want to follow that hyperlink, use this as example:
2. Template to be added before the <chips> tag:

I have found the below definition about the difference
Typically, you don't use ngBind directly, but instead you use the double curly markup like {{ expression }} which is similar but less verbose.
It is preferable to use ngBind instead of {{ expression }} if a template is momentarily displayed by the browser in its raw state before AngularJS compiles it. Since ngBind is an element attribute, it makes the bindings invisible to the user while the page is loading.
but i didn't get this properly.
Can anyone explain in simple language with Example?

ngBind is an attribute. Until your JS files are being loaded and interpreted, that attribute will not be "taken" into consideration, so no HTML artifacts will be displayed.
{{ expression }} instead, is immediately shown as inner HTML on page load, which creates annoying flickers. HTML inner content is briefly displayed in its uncompiled state while your application is loading (all your JS files that get loaded and interpreted). ngCloak is recommended to be used with it.

how to access Hugo's template variables in a javascript file?

I'm trying to use react.js in Hugo. I know Go template variables are accessible in HTML file.
My question is how to access them in javascript. or is there a workaround?

currently my workaround is to use meta tags in HTML and load Go template variables like this:

and then in javascript,

I doubt Hugo and React is a good pair but that's off topic and I might be wrong about that. You are asking, how to get Hugo variables into website's JavaScript. My answer:
Hugo is static website engine, so it only converts templates and markup documents (with your content) into HTML files. Now, when you upload your files onto your server, your JS cannot see anything Hugo — only your files.
The question becomes, how to transfer Hugo variables into some files of your website.
As you suggested, it's best to write variables into your HTML (or JSON) using Hugo, then read them by JS. If it's small amount, use attributes or tags. If there's a lot and it doesn't differ per-page, use a separate JSON file.
For example, personally I have a multilingual site which a) requires different language titles to appear dynamically via JS; b) uses JS which queries different Lunr.js search indexes in JSON format.
For both I use data-<name> attributes:

For example, on English templates (rendered into /public/), data-loaded attribute would be in English, but for Lithuanian templates (rendered into /public/lt/), data-loaded attribute would be in Lithuanian.
I wouldn't worry about "growing meta tags", but you could maybe write variables into a JSON file and then read it in JS if you are concerned about HTML bloat?
I'm building custom JSON first as HTML, then minifying/renaming it into JSON when building indexes for Hugo Lunr search as per this recipe. Instead of "baking in" the content with range as in mentioned recipe, you could simply list all the variables.
By the way, I'm using npm scripts as a build runner (instead of Grunt/Gulp) so I use json-minify:

You could "bake" JSON files with any content (including Hugo template variables) via Hugo this way. Hope it helps.
You can specify a custom output format for Javascript within your config.toml so that Hugo then treats those particular formats and file extensions like it's content files where it replaces the template variables with adequate values.
So, an entry such as below in your config.toml will treat javascript files as one of the media type it needs to consider for its custom output formats:

[mediaTypes."application/javascript"]
suffix = "js"

You can, of course, inline your JS in your layout files, but that is probably not what you want.
There have been some discussions about improvements in this area on the Hugo discussion site, but nothing concrete yet.

This wouldn't seem like an issue with IndexedDB.
For non-Angular directive attributes, such as src you want to interpolate as in the code below:
<img src='{{item.Picture}}' width="100px;" height="100px;"/>
For Angular directive attributes, there's no need for such interpolation:
<img data-ng-src='item.Picture' width="100px;" height="100px;"/>
As your data is going to be undefined on bootstrap, you want to use the latter approach. It prevents the browser from trying to load undefined as an image source.
Also, please note vaibhav's comment above. Without a leading slash, you'll load the images directory as relative to the current. While that may be what you're going for, it's probably going to make your code more reusable to include the leading slash regardless.
Update: If you're in an ng-repeat, note that your scope is not the scope in which the ng-repeat directive appears but it's own, brand new scope. Perhaps try out $parent.item.Picture
I'm having the same problem, it occurs with the image filename having spaces in between , maybe we could write a directive the removes the space from the filename as I'm calling the image via other variable such as title..
