Swiip/generator-gulp-angular remove components folder - angularjs

I have used Swiip to scaffold app.Now I am trying to customize it. There are lots of unnecessary folders under src folder like components and I want to remove components folder.But there is no success.My console shows error
(index):62 GET http://localhost:3000/app/components/navbar/navbar.directive.js
(index):63 GET http://localhost:3000/app/components/githubContributor/githubContributor.service.js
I tried to find where is dependency of these files but no success.
As well if I comment everything then there is no error it means from somewhere these two files are getting called.

Swiip has an architecture and you should understand it for nice programming performance.
The folder Component should containe your features for example (navbar, customers, suppliers, ...) all your modules should be as a folder under component and each folder should containe all the files concerning this module(controller, html, service, directive) if you do so you won't need to reference your files it does it itself.

Issues with Gatsby Shadowing

I am using the #lekoarts gatsby-theme-minimal-blog. You can view my code here:

I feel like I am losing hair because of how much time I have spent trying to get this working. I am running Gatsby locally, and I've somehow successfully shadowed the footer component. I want to shadow the header component, but for some reason nothing is working at all.
In the lekoarts theme, the footer is in the same folder location as the header component, but when I add a file called header.tsx to overwrite the other header.tsx in the same location as the footer that is successfully shadowing nothing happens. I tried adding it in every other possible place I can think of, restarting the local build, and I'm at my wits end.
Here's the kicker, when I remove footer.tsx from the local src directory I added it to, It gives me an error now? Why would it give me an error for a file not existing that wasn't even there in the theme to begin with until I added it?
I really (really) want to give a static site generator a shot, but this feels extremely frustrating for something that should be simple, and it's discouraging me for suggesting something like this for any kind of complex project.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Try to clean .cache folder and re-run the dev. Every time you "shadow" or change the components in theme folder, you should do it.
Just run gatsby clean or npm run clean - I saw that script in your repo.

React suddenly responding with index.html instead of javascript imports

Recently I've been unable to load javascript scripts to my webworkers in react for some reason. It always responds with index.html.
My config is simply a standard create-react-app app. The screenshots are from my actual project but I have confirmed that the problem persists if I create a new project and try to initialize a minimal example.
Each ffmpeg.* file is affected. This is also not specific to ffmpeg since another library had the same issue - thankfully the initialization of that library is simpler so I was able to simply put that libraries worker-file in the public folder - and that worked.
It might be a stupid question but I'm really at my wits end here and I can't figure out how to investigate further.

It works if I put all the files it is trying to hit in the public folder - so it has to be some kind of context issue(??) This seems like a really stupid way to go about it. It's not in a worker at the point of loading - it's the worker loader that fails to access the stuff it needs in the node_modules folder, (core script, worker script and wasm code). Whet?

Is there a way to render a TSX file when loading http://localhost:8080/test?

I'm really a newbie in front-end development. I'm currently involved in a project that does front-end development. I hope I can explain this clearly.
Whenever I call http://localhost:8080/test, it is loaded by page1.jsp.
Now I would like to load a TSX file instead of a JSP. I tried changing my <welcome-file> from page1.jsp to html/js/page2.tsx in web.xml but I don't know why it is not working.
What happened is that a download file window will pop up instead of loading http://localhost:8080/test.
I placed the TSX file in the html/js directory because that's where the package for Typescript and React is located. By the way, the TSX file I'm talking about is a React component that uses Typescript.
Is it possible to configure the web.xml to render the TSX file? If not, is there any other way for me to load it?
Is web.xml still important if I want to load a TSX file?
No, for several reasons:
A .jsp is a "Java server page". You are probably running an application server like Tomcat (I haven't done that in fifteen years or so, so bear with me). It is compiled into a Servlet, which then runs to produce your page as output. Your .tsx file doesn't fit in that process.
Your application server probably has a directory somewhere where you can put static files that don't need to be run on the server side; see if you have a "WebContent" directory or so. In it you can place pure HTML files, Javascript files, fixed images and so on.
But if you put your TSX file there, your browser still won't be able to use it: browsers don't understand Typescript. Typescript needs to be compiled into Javascript, and if you put the resulting .js file there, then a HTML file could use it (with a tag), and that would work.
But your file isn't only Typescript, it's a tsx -- it probably also contains JSX, which also needs to be translated to Javascript.
There are also dependencies, like React, that you'll also need to download in your HTML.
On the whole this is what a bundler like Webpack is for (if you used create-react-app, for instance, you'll get a working Webpack configuration from the start). It can create a "bundle.js" containing all the Javascript needed in one file, including all the dependencies and all your TSX code compiled to Javascript.
Place that in a WebContent or similar directory, call that from a tag in some HTML file -- and you'll hopefully get a nice error message in the console that'll lead you to the first thing I forgot to mention :-)

Do I store Image assets in public or src in reactJS?

I am using react for my application. I have a div that I would like to have a background image. But I can't get it to show.
When I include it in the src folder as myapp/src/bgimage.png it works perfectly but I've heard that I should include it in a folder named images at the root level so it's myapp/images/bgimage.png, however this does not work for me and gives me:
You attempted to import ../images/bgimage.png which falls outside of the project src/ directory.'
Can anyone tell me the proper way to include image assets in reactJS?
public: anything that is not used by your app when it compiles
src: anything that is used when the app is compiled
So for example if you use an image inside a component, it should be in the src folder but if you have an image outside the app (i.e. favicon) it should be in public.
I would add that creating an "assets" folder inside the "src" folder is a good practice.

If you are using create-react-app, You need to use /src for the following benefits.
Scripts and stylesheets get minified and bundled together to avoid extra network requests.
Missing files cause compilation errors instead of 404 errors for your users.
Result filenames include content hashes so you don’t need to worry about browsers caching their old versions.
Also, if you are using webpack's asset bundling anyway, then your files in /src will be rebuilt.
You may create subdirectories inside src. For faster rebuilds, only files inside src are processed by webpack. You need to put any JS and CSS files inside src, otherwise webpack won’t see them.

According to the create-react-app documentation, regarding the use of the public folder:
Normally we recommend importing stylesheets, images, and fonts from JavaScript. The public folder is useful as a workaround for a number of less common cases:
You need a file with a specific name in the build output, such as manifest.webmanifest.
You have thousands of images and need to dynamically reference their paths.
You want to include a small script like pace.js outside of the bundled code.
Some libraries may be incompatible with webpack and you have no other option but to include it as a tag.
In continuation with the other answers I would further like to add that you should create an 'assets' folder under 'src' folder and then create 'images' folder under 'assets' folder. You can store your images in the 'images' folder and then access them from there.
As per my understanding I will go with easier way. If you use your assets from public folder, after build contents from public will be maintained as same. So, if you deploy your app, the contents from public folder will also be loaded while your app loads. Assume your build is 5 MB (4 MB assets and 1 MB src) the 4 MB will get downloaded first then follows the src contains. Even if you use lazy and suspense your app will be slow during deployment.

ReactJS - Multiple bundle.js files for each view in PHP

We're attempting to create a PHP Laravel application using ReactJS as the view for each page. Laravel handles the routing and the presenting of each view. Each view loads a react js bundle.js file. Each bundle.js file is custom to that view and inside contains the react components needed for that view (screen). What were finding out is that each bundle.js file is about 4MB because each contain its dependencies as well as the components. Also were still trying to figure out how to share a component such as a TableComponent.js file across multiple views but have been so far unsuccessful.
Are we architecting this totally wrong? Should there always be only one bundle.js file for the application as a whole?
Or are there good fixes to remove the dependencies from each bundle.js file in a single dependency js file that gets loaded for all views?
Is there a good way to reuse ReactJS components accross multiple bundle.js files ?
Sounds like a perfect case to use Webpack which is an amazing bundling tool, here is an example on how to build multiple entries(pages):

You just write your entry point code, and webpack will figure out the details on how to build shared dependencies of different entries(pages) into a common bundle.
