Create new file with GTK - c

I have function creating a text file, I want that the user can choose the name and path of this text file opening a browse window. I saw gtkfilechooser but user only can choose a file and note create one defining name of the file.
I hope to have been clear.

GtkFileChooser and its implementations (GtkFileChooserButton, GtkFileChooseDialog, and GtkFileChooserWidget) can run in four modes: open file, save file, open folder, create folder. You want the save file mode. Look up GtkFileChooserAction and gtk_file_chooser_set_action(). Note that if you use GtkFileChooserDialog, this is one of the parameters to gtk_file_chooser_dialog_new().

how not to open all files in a folder in Notepad++

Trying to filter file types in Notepad++ Open file dialog box opens all files of that type in that folder
I tried to go through the Options but given they are so many, can't seem to figure out whether one can get Notepad++ to just show the files of that type instead of opening them all
I don't have any code for this
Expected results: show all files of a file type
Actual result: all files are opened.
I found the setting: (I had never changed this setting, so it was curious)

Using batch file to control dos user input

I'm using a program called lewice that runs in a dos window.
When you run the program it requires 'user input' to give a file name for the input files.
Is there anyway I can get a batch file to send the commands to the dos window so the batch file can by default use file name x?
Thanks
Not sure if that's what you want but maybe lewice can use inputs parameters, you just have to create a shortcut and add options:

It might get trickier if the path to the file has spaces.

Running SAVE AS using a batch file

I have a batch file that creates text files in multiple folders.
What I need it to do as well, is after creating that text file, save a copy of it as a .scr file
If I were to do with this without a batch file, I would open the text file, click SAVE AS and save the file with a .scr extension. I cannot figure out how to add this feature to my batch file however.
The original text file cannot be erased, so I can't just change the extension. I would have to copy it, then change the extension, or imitate the SAVE AS feature.
Help?
I just used the ren *<> *<> command. It is extremely redundant because I end up making two text files that are identical and just changing one, but it gets the job done

Navigating a Zipped Filesystem

I have found that, with some file zippers like 7-Zip, it is possible to use files inside the created archives. For example, if I create a file my-zip-file.7z, containing folder my-folder, with files this-file.docx and that-file.html I can use 7zip to go into my-zip-file.7z and open the 2 files, and see or change the contents, even if the original my-folder is deleted! How is this possible?
If you look at the file path for whatever you're editing you'll see that the document is saved to a temporary folder. When you save (or possibly close) 7-Zip then updates the zip file with the saved content.

Is there a possibility of storing a .txt file in a .exe file or atleast hiding it from user view?

Is there a possibility to include a text file in a .exe file? or atleast hide it from the user view? I mean let us take an example,I have a target.exe file in which it opens and reads the contents of a data.txt file and yes its working perfect with my computer But when i transfer these target.exe file without a data.txt file to some other computer where you dont have the required data.txt file.It results an error and the thing I want you to know is data.txt file has some information like example a contact info which is a confidential text. When someone runs these .exe file he should enter the name and the data is displayed about the contact info but it works only if you have data.txt file. But i want the data.txt file to be hidden it cannot be accessed normally. The data in data.txt file can be accessed only through .exe file. How could I solve it? and remember i should give my friends only the .exe file and using that .exe file they can save thier data and display contact info. Does any one have any idea to do it?
yes, you can include any user data into recource and link it with your .exe
Resources in Windows
Resource compiler reference
LoadResource
If the exe opens the file, then it is nearly impossible to prevent users from accessing the contents of that file. If you store it as a raw resource, then one can use a resource editor to view it. If you do some sort of basic encryption, then using ProcExplorer, one could view string in the process to see the information when the program executes. You could use DRM style protections, but that seems like overkill.
The answer to your general question is yes, you can store resources in an EXE file and then the EXE can open and load those resources at runtime.
