Bootstrap grid carousel slider using angular Js - angularjs

I have approximately 20 results. I want to show 2 rows each with 4 grids in tablet mode and I want to slide the grids from left to right (carousel). How do I do this using AngularJS?
<div class="margin-25">
<div ng-repeat="customer in customerData" class="col-sm-3">
<div class="well">
<a href="profile.html">
<div class="col-sm-4">
<div class="text-center">
<img src="../app/imgs/photo.jpg" width="50" height="50" class="img-circle m-t-xs img-responsive" alt="image">
<div class="m-t-xs font-bold">{{customer.customerName}}</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="col-sm-8">
<h4><strong>{{customer.CustomerNumber}}</strong></h4>
<address>
{{customer.branch.address}}<br>
{{customer.branch.city}}<br>
</address>
</div>
<div class="clearfix"></div>
</a>
</div>
</div>
</div>
Can anybody suggest the best examples or an any approach to do this?

This may not be the prettiest way to do but this is generating slides dynamically now regardless of the size of the customerData. I used a filter from This Post to keep track of the customers as the slide changes.
<carousel interval="myInterval" no-wrap="noWrapSlides">
<slide active="slide.active" ng-repeat="slide in customerData | limitTo: slideLength track by $index">
<div class="col-sm-3" ng-repeat="customer in customerData | startFrom: ($index*8) | limitTo: 8">
<div class="well">
<a href="profile.html">
<div class="col-sm-4">
<div class="text-center">
<img src="http://placehold.it/150x150.gif" width="50" height="50" class="img-circle m-t-xs img-responsive" alt="image">
<div class="m-t-xs font-bold">{{customer.customerName}}</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="col-sm-8">
<h4><strong>{{customer.CustomerNumber}}</strong></h4>
<address>
{{customer.branch.address}}<br>
{{customer.branch.city}}<br>
</address>
</div>
<div class="clearfix"></div>
</a>
</div>
</div>
</slide>
</carousel>
angular.module('demoApp', ['ngAnimate', 'ui.bootstrap'])
.filter('startFrom', function() {
return function(input, start) {
if(input) {
start = +start; //parse to int
return input.slice(start);
}
return [];
}
})
.controller('DemoApp', ['$scope', function ($scope) {
$scope.slideLength = Math.ceil($scope.customerData.length / 8); // place this after your model has been declared

Data still not shows in the page, there are not errors in this page, but I don't know how can I fix this.
As I know there is two way to show data in Angular JS when you define the scopes then you need the ng-bind or ng-model to show data in the front end.
1- AngularJS Data Binding
live Example https://www.w3schools.com/code/tryit.asp?filename=G2DQQ2GSJ3EO
<div ng-app="myApp" ng-controller="myCtrl">
<p ng-bind="firstname "></p>
</div>
<script>
var app = angular.module('myApp', []);
app.controller('myCtrl', function($scope) {
$scope.firstname = "John will be change";
});
</script>
2-AngularJS ng-model Directive
Live Example https://www.w3schools.com/code/tryit.asp?filename=G2DQQEUEPSOC
<div ng-app="myApp" ng-controller="myCtrl">
Name: <input ng-model="name">
<h1>You entered: {{name}}</h1>
</div>
<script>
var app = angular.module('myApp', []);
app.controller('myCtrl', function($scope) {
$scope.name = "John Doe";
});
</script>
NOTE: try with static data and then check that you have valid data to make it dynamic
I hope this helps you!

Bootstrap carousel - ng-repeat limit

I have a website with a bootstrap carousel, showing 4 photos in every slide.
<div id="myCarousel" class="carousel slide">
<div class="carousel-inner">
<div class="item active">

I want to get the photos from database using angularjs. ng-repeat on item will fix the problem, but it will get 50 photos.
How can i put every 4 photos/50 in every slide. Any help?
You can use groupBy filter, also you should add helper property: index: Math.floor(i / 4) to your images.
angular.module('app', ['angular.filter'])
.controller('MyController', ['$scope', function($scope) {
$scope.images = [];
for(var i = 0; i < 50; i++)
$scope.images.push({url:'url' + i, index: Math.floor(i / 4)});
}]);
<script src="//code.angularjs.org/snapshot/angular.min.js"></script>
<script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/angular-filter/0.5.16/angular-filter.js"></script>
<body ng-app="app">
<div ng-controller="MyController">
<div class="carousel-inner">
<div class="item" ng-class='{active: $first}' ng-repeat="(key, value) in images | groupBy: 'index'">
<div class="row">
<div class="col-sm-3" ng-repeat="image in value">
{{image.url}}
</div>
</div>
<br/>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</body>

AngularJS GitHub API| Conributors list in the repository list

I have a problem with the repository list in the list of all Conributors for this repository.
I want to create a Contributors list in the list of repositories downloaded using GitHub Api. However, I can not get these data for each repository and put them in html.
Has anyone any idea how to do this?
Thank you in advance for your help
My code:
App in html
<div ng-controller="gitApi" ng-app="app">
<div class="container">
<h1 class="text-center">
<span ng-hide="userData" />Loading</span>
<span />{{userData.name}}</span>
<br>
<a href="{{userData.html_url}}" class="btn btn-default">
{{userData.login}}
</a>
</h1>
<div class="panel panel-default">
<div class="panel-heading">
<form class="form-inline">
<span>
<h4>Repos <span class="badge">{{repoData.length}}</span>
<input ng-model="searchText" placeholder="Search" class="form-control input-sm">
</h4>
</span>
</form>
</div>
<div class="panel-body">
<div class="list-group">
<div ng-repeat="orgs in orgsData | filter:searchText | orderBy:predicate:reverse" class="list-group-item ">
<div class="row">
<div class="col-md-6">
<h4>
<a href="{{repo.html_url}}" target="_blank">
{{orgs.name}}
</a>
<small>{{orgs.description}}</small>
</h4>
<small>
<a href="{{orgs.homepage}}" class="">
<i class="fa fa-link"></i> WebPage
</a>
</small>
</div>
<div class="col-md-6">

<div ng-repeat=" | filter:searchText | orderBy:predicate:reverse" class="list-group-item ">
<div class="row">
<div class="col-md-12">
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
APP.js
angular.module('app', [])
.controller('gitApi', ['$scope', '$http', function($scope, $http) {
$scope.reposLoaded = false;
$scope.userLoaded = false;
$scope.orgsLoaded = false;
$http.get("https://api.github.com/users/angular")
.success(function(data) {
$scope.userData = data;
loadOrgsRepos();
});
var loadOrgsRepos = function() {
$http.get("https://api.github.com/orgs/angular/repos")
.success(function(data) {
$scope.orgsData = data;
});
}
$scope.predicate = '-updated_at';
}]);
You can get all contributors url from contributors_url and make an API call for each one of these, storing the result in the original $scope.orgsData array :
"use strict";
var githubApp = angular.module('app', []);
githubApp.controller('gitApi', ['$scope', '$http', '$q', function($scope, $http, $q) {
$http.get("https://api.github.com/users/angular")
.success(function(data) {
$scope.userData = data;
loadOrgsRepos();
});
var loadOrgsRepos = function() {
$http.get("https://api.github.com/orgs/angular/repos")
.success(function(data) {
$scope.orgsData = data;
var contribs = [];
for (var i in data) {
contribs.push(data[i].contributors_url);
}
$q.all(contribs.map(function(item) {
return $http({
method: 'GET',
url: item
});
}))
.then(function(results) {
results.forEach(function(val, i) {
$scope.orgsData[i].contributors = val.data;
});
});
});
}
$scope.repo_sort = '-updated_at';
$scope.contrib_sort = '-contributions'
}]);

Angularjs : Show the count of new messages

I am currently working on a Chat application and there I want to show the count of new messages.
<div class="people" >
<div ng-repeat="user in allCompanyUsers">
<div class="person" ng-click="activateChat(user); bubble=true" id="chat_{{user.id}}">
<img alt="" />
<span class="name" >{{user.firstName}} {{user.lastName}}
<span ng-if="!bubble" class="noti_bubble">{{count}}</span></span>
<span class="preview"></span>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="chat active-chat">
<div ng-repeat="c in activeConversations track by c.time| orderBy:'time':false">
<div class="bubble" ng-class="c.type">
{{c.message}}
<span class="user_message">{{c.time | date:'yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss'}}</span>
</div>
</div>
</div>
Any kind of help will be appreciated and thanks in advance...
You can just use {{activeConversations.length}} in order to get the length/count as:
<div class="people" >
<div ng-repeat="user in allCompanyUsers">
<div class="person" ng-click="activateChat(user); bubble=true" id="chat_{{user.id}}">
<img alt="" />
<span class="name" >{{user.firstName}} {{user.lastName}}
<span ng-if="!bubble" class="noti_bubble">{{activeConversations.length}}</span></span>
<span class="preview"></span>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="chat active-chat">
<div ng-repeat="c in activeConversations track by c.time| orderBy:'time':false">
<div class="bubble" ng-class="c.type">
{{c.message}}
<span class="user_message">{{c.time | date:'yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss'}}</span>
</div>
</div>
</div>

AngularJS - How to generate random value for each ng-repeat iteration

I am trying to create random span sized divs(.childBox) of twitter bootstrap using AngularJS.
<div ng-controller="HomeCtrl">
<div class="motherBox" ng-repeat="n in news">
<div class="childBox" class="col-md-{{boxSpan}} box">
<a href="#" class="thumbnail">
<img src="{{holderLink}}" height="200px" alt="100x100">
<p class="tBlock"> {{n.title}} </p>
</a>
</div>
</div>
</div>
controller('HomeCtrl', ['$scope', '$http', function($scope,$http) {
$http.get('news/abc.json').success(function(data) {
$scope.news = data;
});
$scope.holderSize = 150;
$scope.holderLink = 'http://placehold.it/'+$scope.holderSize+'x'+$scope.holderSize;
$scope.boxSpan = getRandomSpan();
function getRandomSpan(){
return Math.floor((Math.random()*6)+1);
};
}])
I want to create different integer value for boxSpan for each .childBox div but all .childBox have same boxSpan value. Although everytime i refresh page boxSpan creates random value.
How can i generate different/random value for each ng-repeat iteration?
Just call add getRandomSpan() function to your scope and call it in your template:
$scope.getRandomSpan = function(){
return Math.floor((Math.random()*6)+1);
}
<div ng-controller="HomeCtrl">
<div class="motherBox" ng-repeat="n in news">
<div class="childBox" class="col-md-{{getRandomSpan()}} box">
<a href="#" class="thumbnail">
<img src="{{holderLink}}" height="200px" alt="100x100">
<p class="tBlock"> {{n.title}} </p>
</a>
</div>
</div>
</div>
As an alternative to the accepted answer, since you're likely to reuse this function, you can turn it into a filter for convenience:
angular.module('myApp').filter('randomize', function() {
return function(input, scope) {
if (input!=null && input!=undefined && input > 1) {
return Math.floor((Math.random()*input)+1);
}
}
});
Then, you can define the max and use it anywhere on your app:
<div ng-controller="HomeCtrl">
<div class="motherBox" ng-repeat="n in news">
<div class="childBox" class="col-md-{{6 | randomize}} box">
<a href="#" class="thumbnail">
<img src="{{holderLink}}" height="200px" alt="100x100">
<p class="tBlock"> {{n.title}} </p>
</a>
</div>
</div>
</div>
Improvisation of the accepted answer to prevent digest overflow:
var rand = 1;
$scope.initRand = function(){
rand = Math.floor((Math.random()*6)+1)
}
$scope.getRandomSpan = function(){
return rand;
}
<div ng-controller="HomeCtrl">
<div class="motherBox" ng-repeat="n in news">
<div class="childBox" ng-init="initRand()" class="col-md-{{getRandomSpan()}} box">
<a href="#" class="thumbnail">
<img src="{{holderLink}}" height="200px" alt="100x100">
<p class="tBlock"> {{n.title}} </p>
</a>
</div>
</div>
</div>
