I have created multilingual site using angular-translate. Its working awesome but i have new requirement according to which i want 2 language on same page at a time.
Actually my website allows user to create custom forms in any language. So suppose that user currently viewing site in Arabic but if his creating form for lets say English then using
$translate.use('en')
will change whole site and form builder in english but i want only form builder to be in english but container which was in arabic will also get translated in english.
anybody have any idea about how to achieve this?
This approach would help you use translation functionality how ever you want. you just need to change it as follows.
<strong>{{'hello' | language: 'en'}}{{'world' | language: 'ch'}}</strong>

I have reacted app and there are many components, and I want that the text will support multiple languages,
I mean if the user wants English then all content of the component translates into English.
I try to add multilanguage in my react app using the i18next library but I found that I need to write all text in every language and store somewhere then use that.
But I want it when the user selects language and then it translates into the desired language without hard code.
like when we write anything in google translator then it translates all the page with the desired language.
If you want the content of your site to be machine translated on the go, then some browsers (if not all of them) have this built-in functions. Just right click and "translate" the page. So maybe you should just mention about this function somewhere on the page?)
But if you want the content of your site to be professionally translated, then you've got to store it in the db. And depending on the global language state (which could be managed with redux), the content in selected language will be rendered.
Live translation on your website is not a good idea.
Alternatively, checkout translate.i18next.com
like google translate but for i18next.
I am building a single page application using React. I want my website to be available in both the hindi and english language. So, for that I think I have to use react-intl. Okay but how can I make this work? I read a few tutorial but I did not find any good solution for Hindi. Please help me in my research on how to use i18n for English to Hindi.
It seems that Hindi language uses Devanagari script which is written from left to right (LTR), so translating your site to Hindi isn't different from translating it to any other language (e.g. Frech, Spanish, Czech).
All you need to do is add react-intl components to your code, create a message catalog with messages, translate it into Hindi and load it into your app.
If you have a more specific problem, please update your question or post another one.
Also, I'm an author of lingui i18n library which you might consider if you're at the beginning of your project. It's successor to react-intl and very similar in usage. There's a tutorial, but I could help you with any problems you might have with a Hindi.
I have an application built in AngularJS. I need to change the language from English to Arabic.
Is there any plugin to do this automatically that can change all my views from English to Arabic.
Plugins are not available to translate from one language to another. Angular's internationalization (i18n) tools help make your app available in multiple languages.

I am working on a multi-lingual website in Drupal 7. I installed the i18n module to translate the content on the website. However, I also have other site interface elements on the front-end part of the website like button texts, navigation links, etc that I would like to translate.
Is it really necessary to develop different themes per language? Or is there a more elegant solution to do this?
Thanks!
"Is it really necessary to develop different themes per language?"
No, it isn't. Every visual text can be translated, via the Translate interface-entry in the admin menu. If you write your own modules, templates and stuff, use the t-function to make the terms available in Translate interface or write your own po-files.
There is one issue of course: if the length of the terms in language A is too different to language B you can get in trouble with your layout. So test everything in depth and load different css styles if necessary.
I have a web application built using CakePHP framework and now I am in the process of internationalizing it. I started with the base set-up as outlined in the below article -
http://puskin.in/blog/2010/08/cakephp-manage-multiple-language-in-application/
and also add little bit of customization based on my previous question -
CakePHP: Internationalizing Web Application
To completely internationalize my web app, I would need to translate my drop-down/look-up content as well, like - categories, favorites, countries, bucket list etc.
What is the best way to design my tables and CakePHP samples? Can someone explain with a simple example and classes? Links or articles?
Lets say we have something like -
A user can create multiple posts, and each post has a category [science article, match article] etc in the drop-down and same we need to internationalize drop-down as well.
Two hints:
Read the manual of cakephp.
Look into the code of a available application (maybe croogo)
My open source project is translated.
It call CandyCane. A port of Redmine into CakePHP.
I also imported translation files from Redmine, so CandyCane supports numbers of languages from the beginning.
