Subscribed calendars on Windows 10 Mail app? - calendar

The Windows 10 mail app also displays your calendar if youre configured for an Exchange server. Any idea if it's possible to add a subscribed calendar -- i.e. a shared calendar sent with a link like webcal://...? I sure don't find anything obvious in the "New Accounts" options or via internet search

Go to http://calendar.live.com and log into your account
Click “Import” on the top bar then click “Subscribe” on the left
Paste your iCal feed into “Calendar URL”
Click “Subscribe” to add the feed

I have been able to get an ical/webcal in after a few attempts:
All you need to do is add your calendars to your live mail account.
Then remove and readd the account from your Windows 10 Calendar, and you will see them in there.
So it is not a direct method, but it works :)

Instructions updated for March 2020:
First, subscribe to the calendar at Outlook.com:
Go to https://outlook.live.com/calendar/ and log in
Click Add calendar on the left sidebar
Click Subscribe from web on the left sidebar of the dialog that appears
Paste in your iCal URL, add a calendar name if you want, and click Import
Then, if you haven't already add your Outlook.com account (Calendar > Settings > Manage Accounts > Add account) to your Windows 10 Calendar app. Note that your subscribed calendars will not appear under the default Microsoft account calendar.
Then, in Calendar, press the Ellipsis at the top right and press Sync.

Adding an event from a different Google Calendar, with dynamic update

In Google Calendar, I can select an event, click on "publish event", and obtain a URL that another user can use to add the event to their calendar. However, that is a static copy of my event. If I edit my event, the edits are not propagated to the other user's calendar. How can one add an event from another calendar, and then have that event dynamically updated whenever the original is edited?
One approach is to invite every single participant, so that they can individually accept or decline the event. However, that is burdensome when the attendee list is unknown, large, or changes frequently.
This answer is not relevant because I am starting from a Google Calendar, not programmatically creating an iCal event feed.
This answer from 2010 says to manually export the .ics file, put it on a website, advertise it to users, and manually update the served .ics file periodically. Is there a better way today?

How Can I auto Populate Room Name in new form of Calendar event in Outllook Web App?

We are using SharePoint Calendar of Office365/OWA to book Conference Room. We are trying to auto-populate the name of Room in calendar event new form.
We have setup a link in our intranet portal, when user clicks on this, it automatically opens the new calendar event form, but we need to auto select specific room.
How can I achieve this? Please provide me suggestions/ideas on this.
You'll have to create an Outlook web add-in to do this. Here's a good example:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/EN-US/library/office/dn574750.aspx
But note that there are no events that fire when the new calendar event is created, so you cannot auto-select a room. But you could simply put a button in your add-in's UI to choose the correct room for the user.

And I want to add the events on this link to my yahoo calendar.

Thanks

Your calendar link seems to have disappeared. In any case here are some links that may help:
