I'd like to install mod_auth_token to secure some of my files but I'm having problems with the first command I need to run:
Command
./configure
Error message
configure: error: APXS not found in $PATH, please use with-apxs to specify the location of the apxs binary
Except that locate apxs returns none so I guess it's nowhere and
echo $PATH -> /usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/games
Any ideas ?
UPDATE1
Found it, apxs2 was missing, to add it apt-get install apache2-dev
But now when I run make or make check or make install I get a warning and the installation stops:
mod_auth_token.c:65:3: warning: missing sentinel in funcgtion call [ -Wformat=]
ap_set_string_slot(cmd, config, apr_pstrcat(cmd->pool, arg, '/'));
^
Code
if (arg[len -1] != '/') {
/*here*/ ap_set_string_slot(cmd, config, apr_pstrcat(cmd->pool, arg, '/'));
conf->prefix_len = len + 1;
....
I was having this issue and developer here figured this for me (thanks Bill!).
According to Apache Docs https://apr.apache.org/docs/apr/1.6/group__apr__strings.html#ga7bd80c95ffb7b3f96bc78e7b5b5b0045 "The final string must be NULL"
He changed that line to:
ap_set_string_slot(cmd, config, apr_pstrcat(cmd->pool, arg, '/', NULL));
and it compiled.

I have postfix 3.3.0 and Active Directory on Server 2019. I want the connection to be secure and to validate the server certificate.
When trying to send an email, I am unable to and see this in syslog.
postfix/submission/smtpd[7432]: warning: dict_ldap_set_tls_options: Unable to allocate new TLS context -1: Can't contact LDAP server
Here's the contents of /etc/postfix/ldap-users.cf

result_format = %s
With this configuration, postmap -q test#mydomain.tld ldap:/etc/postfix/ldap-users.cf works. openssl s_client -starttls ldap -connect dc.mydomain.tld:389 also works (no validation errors). Even with tls_require_cert = no, it still fails. When start_tls = no, everything works fine.
Before I specified tls_ca_cert_file, I imported my .crt into ca-certificates. The error I received was postfix/postmap[4994]: error: dict_ldap_connect: Unable to set STARTTLS: -11: Connect error. It seems Postfix doesn't read from the computer cert store. After testing with tls_ca_cert_file from my home, it changed to the error I'm getting now, -1. I first tried from /etc/postfix, then now chroot home (based on an Internet suggestion Postfix couldn't access it).
I realized I made the classic mistake of installing from the stock repositories, and ended up with an old version. I ended up compiling Postfix from source.

I've been compiling OpenSSL (and thus Perl >5.10, as it is a dependency) on multiple platforms. I've managed to get 1.1.0b compiled on every single platform except AIX, which I can't even compile Perl. I've tried several versions and looked at the documentation Perl provides online. From what I can tell, it suggests version 5.12.2.
When I attempt to compile version 5.12.2,
I take the following from the documentation, and fill in a few local system variables, such as using XLC rv7.
export OBJECT_MODE=64
./Configure \
-d \
-Dcc=/usr/vac/bin/xlc_r7 \
-Duseshrplib \
-Duse64bitall \
-Dprefix=`pwd`/../PERL
Then I attempt to make as prompted, and get the following error:

Taking a look at pod/perlmodlib.PL, we see the following:

In my desperation I tried to hack it up and avoid writing to the manifest, but then I get this issue:

The frequency of errors makes me feel like perhaps I don't have something configured right...
My next thought was to try the most updated version, which at the time of writing is 5.24. Using the same configuration and attempting to make I get the following issue:
Can't locate strict.pm in #INC (you may need to install the strict module) (#INC contains: /cpan/AutoLoader/lib /dist/Carp/lib /dist/PathTools /dist/PathTools/lib /cpan/ExtUtils-Install/lib /cpan/ExtUtils-MakeMaker/lib /cpan/ExtUtils-Manifest/lib /cpan/File-Path/lib /ext/re /dist/Term-ReadLine/lib /dist/Exporter/lib /ext/File-Find/lib /cpan/Text-Tabs/lib /dist/constant/lib /cpan/version/lib /lib .) at autodoc.pl line 25.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at autodoc.pl line 25.
make: The error code from the last command is 2.
Which I know from other compilations means I need to edit the PERL5LIB variable.
If I keep adding all the modules to the path:
export PERL5LIB=`pwd`/dist/Exporter/lib:$PERL5LIB
export PERL5LIB=`pwd`/cpan/Text-Tabs/lib:$PERL5LIB
export PERL5LIB=`pwd`/ext/re:$PERL5LIB
export PERL5LIB=`pwd`/dist/constant/lib:$PERL5LIB

export PERL5LIB=`pwd`/dist/PathTools:$PERL5LIB
export PERL5LIB=`pwd`/dist/PathTools/lib:$PERL5LIB
export PERL5LIB=`pwd`/ext/File-Find/lib:$PERL5LIB
Even so, I'll still get an error for a module that isn't even present in the 5.24.0 source!

I have MakeMaker, but the 5.24 version does not contain vpp.pm! Again, in desperation I attempted to put it in there from a different source, and I get this error:
LIBPATH=.../perl-5.24.0 ./miniperl -Ilib make_ext.pl cpan/Archive-Tar/pm_to_blib MAKE="make" LIBPERL_A=libperl.a

All of this makes me feel like perhaps I'm not configuring something right... Can anyone with some experience help me out with some cut and dry installation instructions for Perl on AIX? I'd be super grateful. Thanks!

I pull down and compile openssh and openssl frequently. I use gcc and no real magic that I can recall.
Here is my script to build it. I don't know which perl is native to AIX but it seems to work for me.

I am stuck with the installation of TPC-E EGen on Mac OS X (or Linux). I have downloaded the workload generator from TPC website : www.tpc.org/tpce/egen-download-request.asp but I failed to build it.
When using the following command for building the utilities:
cd Utilities/prj/GNUMake/
make
I receive the following error:
../../prj/GNUMake/Makefile.EGenUtilities:136: ../../obj/DateTime.d: No such file or directory
../../prj/GNUMake/Makefile.EGenUtilities:136: ../../obj/EGenVersion.d: No such file or directory
../../prj/GNUMake/Makefile.EGenUtilities:136: ../../obj/error.d: No such file or directory
../../obj/locking.d:3: *** missing separator. Stop.
which is not a meaningful error and does not help in how to resolve the issue.
Any help or hint would be appreciated.
I found the problems:
1- in EGenStandardTypes.h, I had to replace
\#if defined (__unix) || (_AIX)
by
\#if defined(unix) || defined(\__unix__) || defined(\__unix) || defined(\__APPLE__) && defined(\__MACH__) || (_AIX)
in order to make this part of code work for Mac OS X as well.
2- in DateTime.cpp and error.cpp
I had to comment out #error directive usages, as my current version of GCC did not support it.
I want to use a webservice in C code. I am trying to make a client. I need something to do what Axis2java does and generates the classes from a wsdl files.
I found that Axis2c makes (.c) files generated from wsdl file.
I downloaded it from here . unzipped it. I created the environment variable for AXIS2C_HOME and I created AXIS2C_CLASSPATH.
but I can't make it work.
when I type this command :
WSDL2C -uri -ss -sd -d none -u -f -o
I get this error :
echo off
Error: Could not find or load main class org.apache.axis2.wsdl.WSDL2C
how can I solve this problem. and please tell me how to use this Axis2c tool properly.
Thank you in advance.
#loentar : I installed Axis2/Java and I set the environment variable for it. now I run the wsdl2c.bat I get this :

what can I do ?
I'm using windows 8 by the way.
In addition to Axis2/C you must have Axis2/Java installed.
AXIS2_HOME must point to Axis2/Java installation.
For details please see README of codegen.
The complete list of commands to create and compile client is:
# create stubs
sh $AXIS2C_HOME/bin/tools/wsdl2c/WSDL2C.sh -uri Calculator.wsdl -u -uw
# implement main() in src/your_client.c
# see samples/codegen/client/calculator for example
# compile and link client
gcc -o calculator_client src/*.c -I$AXIS2C_HOME/include/axis2-1.6.0 -L$AXIS2C_HOME/lib -laxutil -laxis2_axiom -laxis2_parser -laxis2_engine -lpthread -laxis2_http_sender -laxis2_http_receiver -ldl -Wl,--rpath -Wl,$AXIS2C_HOME/lib
I set the envinroment variable for JAVA_HOME, AXIS2_HOME, AXIS2C_HOME, and added their lib folder to CLASSPATH. after running this command:
WSDL2C.bat -uri hello.wsdl -u -uw
I got this message:
echo off
Error: Could not find or load main class org.apache.axis2.wsdl.WSDL2C
I found the solution myself. :)
I double checked if I had created the environment variable for AXIS2_HOME and I saw that it is there, correctly.
in spite of it's existence I tried to set it again in command prompt. so I typed:
SET AXIS2_HOME=E:\dev\Tools\axis2-1.6.2
then I typed the command for WSDL2C code generator:
WSDL2C.bat -uri hello.wsdl -u -uw
And BAM ! it worked properly.
Now I can generate C files from WSDL file.
i'm new in libgit2. and my problem is about git_remote_connect function, this problem has been confusing me for many days.
when i use git_remote_connect, it always return wrong, the message is:This transport isn't implemented. Sorry
The code is simply looks like:
git_remote *remote = NULL;
git_remote_load(remote, git_repo, remote_name);
// output the correctly result, just like run: git remote -v
g_message("remote user:", git_remote_name(remote)); // github-username
g_message("remote url:", git_remote_url(remote)); // git#github.com/github-username/Repo
if (git_remote_connect(remote, GIT_DIRECTION_FETCH) < 0) {
const git_error *e = giterr_last();
g_error("connect wrong!\n"
"message: %s",
e->message);
}
The protocol you're asking libgit2 to use was not included while compiling. Install the development package/headers for whatever package is needed and compile libgit2 again. The cmake output will tell you what was discovered; see the README for the libraries.
As an aside, git#github.com/github-username/Repo is a local path, which is always available, so it's unlikely that this is the URL which libgit2 is trying to use.
you should enable SSH in CMakeLists.txt
OPTION(USE_SSH "Link with libssh2 to enable SSH support" ON)
