After configuring my DSpace server, its working correctly but when I look at the OAI identify page (http://repositorio.puce.edu.ec/oai/request?verb=Identify) so we can be harvested, it says that the repository is localhost instead of my URL. I investigated and found out that to update this, I have to run this command: dspace/bin/dspace oai import -c but when I run that command is gives me the following error: Solr server (http://repositorio.puce.edu.ec/solr/oai) is down, turn it on.
I can see the Solr Admin (it can't be seen from the outside because of security reasons) so I don't know what should be turned on or how to do it?

I encountered this error in the past.
Looking at my oai.cfg file, I used localhost for some settings and my public URL for others.
solr.url=http://localhost/solr/oai

If you need to make a config change, be sure to clear the cache after restarting service.

I can start and run my Angular app fine from my local computer. But I have never run it on a server before.
I have tried uploading it to the server. On the server I type the following to start it:
http-server
Then I visit http://serverip:8080/. Instead of seeing my app I see:

What is missing in my configuration?
ecstatic is a static file server. It's not set up to be a web server by default, even though it can work that way. When you do run it as a web server, certain standard options in most web servers - like treating a request for /path/ as a request for /path/index.htm - are disabled by default.
You need to enable opts.autoIndex. The package readme tells you how to do that. In your case, it means editing http-server or the .js file that it fires off; it's hard to say from what you have posted.
I was trying to set upload_tmp_dir variable for one of my domain I added following entries
root#host1 /var/www/vhosts/vw-forum.pl/conf # cat vhosts.conf
php_admin_value upload_tmp_dir /tmp
Then I refreshed configuration
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/httpdmng --reconfigure-domain vw-forum.pl
but in the end in php info it`s showing
upload_tmp_dir no value no value
Pls advice how to fix this..
I have find out an answer it should be changed in PLesk Panel for particula domain

My phpinfo also shows no value in upload_tmp_dir. However, as I've learned today from the error logs, you have to manually configure Plesk to accept that respective dir in the open_basedir PHP setting.

I have just done so and can upload fine now, even though phpinfo still shows no value for that entry.
I am deploying Solr 4.3.0 in Tomcat 7.
Everything works fine but DataImportHandler. I can go to the
http://localhost:8080/solr/#/collection1/dataimport//dataimport
screen and see the dataimport options load at the UI.
Still, I can see any of my entities load in the "entity" combo box. Inside the configuration box, at the right side I can see the error below.

Problem is that I have the "log4j-1.2.16.jar" loaded in the classpath (it's on Tomcat lib dir).

Try following the steps outlined in Using the example logging setup in containers other than Jetty. I have encountered this same error when running Solr 4.3 until I followed these steps to configure logging.
After changing the directory, did you change the directory path in solrconfig.xml file.
I just want to make sure after the making changes in configuration file, did you restart the tomcat and solr server?
You need to copy the slf4j-log4j12-1.6.6.jar from the ext of Solr into the lib folder.
You also need to put the logging.properties file there.
I'm trying to get sendmail working on localhost. The problem is that the app engine has det wrong path to sendmail, since it throws the error: /bin/sh: sendmail: command not found
Using Mac OS X, the path to sendmail is: /usr/sbin/sendmail
Does anyone know how to change this?

I don't know how to change it but a symlink will do the job. I had the same problem and this solved it:
sudo ln -s /usr/sbin/sendmail /usr/bin/sendmail
Another option is to configure your local AppEngine runtime to use an external SMTP server.
According to the documentation,
The web server will use the sendmail

If it uses NETINFO to determine the location of sendmail, the full path to sendmail.cf is stored as the value of the "sendmail.cf" property in the "/locations/sendmail" subdirectory of NETINFO, so try to set the value of this property to "/usr/sbin/sendmail.cf" (without the quotes)

I know how to configure solr.home by using Tomcat 6, but I don't know how to set solr.home by using Glassfish(V2.1). I have tried to set the solr.home in .profile as fellows:

if you are running solr inside tomcat as a container you can specify the solr home inside the XML descriptor for this webapp. (my terminology for this is probably a little off).
I've got xml fragments for each solr instance I want to run and they specify their own local solr home directory inside the xml fragment. The fragments live at /conf/Catalina/localhost and each one manages a solr instance. This way I can have multiple solr instances on the same machine each with their own solr home variable.

Create a Tomcat Context fragment to
point docBase to the
$SOLR_HOME/apache-solr-1.3.0.war file
and solr/home to $SOLR_HOME:

or place the file in
$CATALINA_HOME/conf/Catalina/localhost/solr-example.xml,
where Tomcat will automatically pick
it up. Tomcat deletes the file on
undeploy (which happens automatically
if the configuration is invalid).
Try to set the following:
export JAVA_OPTS="$JAVA_OPTS -Dsolr.solr.home=/home/huenzhao/search/solr/"
Try setting a Java environment parameter from Java or edit your VM configuration:

In my case I simply copied the 'solr' folder to glassfish/domains/domain1/config and it worked.
