I have created a classification class and classification attribute and linked to some products in features. I even added that attribute to solrindexedproperty. But the OOTB solr search not providing any results for my attribute. How to make my classification attribute searchable using solr.
Please use CommerceClassificationPropertyValueProvider.
Here is example Impex snippet.
# Define macros needed to select proper classification system
$classificationCatalog=trainingClassification
$classSystemVersion=systemVersion(catalog(id[default='$classificationCatalog']),version[default='1.0'])
$classCatalogVersion=catalogVersion(catalog(id[default='$classificationCatalog']),version[default='1.0'])
$classAttribute=classificationAttribute(code,$classSystemVersion)
$classClass=classificationClass(code,$classCatalogVersion)
$classAttributeAssignment=classAttributeAssignment($classClass,$classAttribute,$classSystemVersion)

Azure Search by default highlights search results with <em> tag. I've met with situation where user uploads document with that tag inside:
<em>Today</em> topic will be...
When i would search for "topic" i would get:
<em>Today</em> <em>topic</em> will be...
And i wouldn't be able to distinguish the right highlight.
I know that i can modify highlight_pre_tag and highlight_post_tag so i would avoid this in this particular situation. But is there other way to encode this tags before appyling highlighs?
EDIT:
By encoding i mean getting something like this:
<em>Today</em> <em>topic</em> will be...;
So I can send it to frontend and then display <em> from "Today" as <em> and use <em> in "topic" to highlight it to yellow.
Azure Search doesn't provide any built-in mechanism to modify the "raw" content of a document if you are using the Index API directly, however, if you are using one of our built-in indexers, you can look into using the field mapper functions (such as the UrlEncode function) or create your own custom skill (if you want to only apply very specific rules) to transform the documents in transit from your data source to the search index.
Alternatively, we've seen customers use custom highlight pre and post tags that are easily recognizable (and unlikely to be mistaken for original content) and then using a simple search and replace function in their client application to transform those back into the desired tag.
For example, using
pre-tag : "!HIGHLIGHT_START!" and post-tag :"!HIGHLIGHT_END!"
and then using
String.Replace("!HIGHLIGHT_START!", "<em>")
before displaying the results in their application. That way, any client-side logic that requires finding the actual highlights can use the custom tags, while still showing the desired tag in the UX.
I'm trying to access some custom fields in the Quote object from Opportunity Object.
I tried to use cross formula fields to access the fields via SyncedQuote, but for some reason not all my custom fields from the Quote Object appear in the dropdown menue.
Is there any reason why only some some custom fields can be linked and others can't?
In general I want to build a VisufalForce PDF formula set up on the Opportunity Objects, for which I need data from the Quote custom fields. Is there any other possibilty to archieve that?
It is important to notice that my company doesnt have the enterprise licence, so no apex code is available. Can this be archived without?
Many Thanks!
I've been searching the documentation trying to understand if I can filter on page subclass fields the same way I can search on them.
From my experiments search filters must contain only the fields that are defined on the filtered type.
Is this the case? If so, is there any plans on implementing such a thing?
I've been looking at using Angular Schema Form to define all my forms for my project but one thing that stood out to me massively is that when we define a select/drop-down element, the values have to be specified then and there in the JSON. This doesn't strike me as very flexible as I want these values to be retrieved from my Angular controller/factory as they are currently available on the scope.
I've done quite a bit of searching on how to get round this but haven't found a definitive solution or anything that worked for me so I decided to try to extend the Select myself and add a mapping to the schemaFormDecoratorsProvider.
I have followed the documentation for Extending Schema Form, and now have an HTML snippet which defines my Select control and this is being rendered when I define it in my JSON schema. What I want to be able to do is to specify the ng-options attribute either in part as a whole via the JSON schema. I have tried to do this but nothing seems to result in the select options being rendered.
Here is part of my select control:
<select ng-model="$$value$$"
ng-model-options="form.ngModelOptions"
sf-changed="form"
schema-validate="form"
ng-options="item.value as item.name for item in form.titleMap"
ng-disabled="form.readonly">
</select>
Where ng-options is defined, I want to be able to either specify titleMap in my JSON and it be resolved to an object on my scope or I can pass the name of the collection in my JSON and then pass that in where form.titleMap currently sits.
Anybody had any experience doing this? To me is seems like a fairly reasonable requirement but can't find much help on the web about it.
Many thanks.
There are add-ons designed to support dynamic data selection, the library has no preference and leaves it up to the developer to select the most appropriate for their needs, however I built the Material Design decorator to include the capabilities of angular-schema-form-external-options in the decorator so the add-on is not needed. The bootstrap decorator does not have this capability at this stage.
The angular-schema-form-external-options library is basic but covers most requirements for simple dynamic drop down data population
The angular-schema-form-dynamic-select is a more robust and feature full option with a variety of configurable options.
I have added one custom attribute as "category". It's values should be 'Sales','Support' etc.
I have to retrieve only those contacts who have category as custom attributes.
I tried using below code. But It is not giving the excepted results.
ContactFeed profileFeed = contactService.getFeed(new URL("https://www.google.com/m8/feeds/contacts/"+domain+"/full/?xoauth_requestor_id="+adminEmail+"&start-index="+startIndex+"&q="+searchText),ContactFeed.class);
can anyone tell me ? Is there any way to retrieve only those contacts who have 'Category' as custom attribute.?
Yes its possible, ive done ot before with some tricks. If you include a unique string in the properties, you can then search custom properties. For example prepend # to all your custom properties, then search cor those properties that contain "#". Ive done this from apps script though not fhe raw http api.
