ReferenceError: google is not defined in Github Pages - angularjs

Question

I get
ReferenceError: google is not defined
when using Google Maps on Github Pages but works fine locally. I'm including Google like:

I'm using angular for map code is in the main controller,

fixed. Seems the google link doesn't like to be minified so I moved it outside of the minify area.
