I'm trying to render DRUPAL content type form in a custom tpl that I created. But its just printing the hidden fields not the actual form.
I tried using drupal_get_form and drupal_render, but nothing works!
Can someone suggest me a link or reference to drupal theming guide?
Am I missing something?
You need to use drupal_get_form and drupal_render on 2 different steps.
$myForm = drupal_get_form('YOUR_FORM_ID');
print drupal_render($myForm);

I'm a new user of TinyMCE, and i'm trying to incorporate it in my React App. But i'ma actually getting an output problem. When try "format:text" in the tiny component, and try to create a post in my blog using bold and italic options, when the post is posted, the displayed text is just normal, without bold or italic properties. So, I've tried the "format:html" but in this case, I get my text without any styles at all, AND we see the <p> balises.
So, it can looks like a stupid question but, how do we output the posted text correctly ?
As always, thx in advance !
This happened to me as well. If you do not want to see the attributes on your output then go to the React Component which is responsible for output and in your React component when you use the return() keyword you should create a div use the
dangerouslySetInnerHTML attribute inside.
Example:

I am trying to use Angular Bootstrap Confirm by Matt.
In his demo (click here), it is mentioned that html can be used in the message. His code:
Are you really <b>sure</b> you want to do this?
I changed that to
Are you really <b>sure</b><br> you want to do this?
and it still worked. But if I try to add any complex element like input or button, it does not work.
Enter <b>Yes</b><br> <input type='text'> <br>and click 'Yes'
Is there a way to add input or textarea to the message?
You would have to fork their code, based on the source, it is using a class, so you could not do this through the interface.

I have a form that has some fields.
One field is autocomplete
.
The field is filled with information from a table
$f->addField('autocomplete','idfield','Field')->setValueList( $this->api->db->dsql()
->table('items')->field('id,name')->do_getAssoc() );
I'm trying to set the focus on that field when the page loads.
I have did this
On top of the page
$p->js()->_load('seteo_foco');
And then
seteo_foco.js
$(function(){
$("select:first").focus();
})
But this does not work.
Anybody can help ?
Thanks
Try TRUE like
$this->js(true)->_load('seteo_foco'); to load js file.
But in your js code your selector is incorrect. You need to specify you unique field. I'd use something like $form->getElement('field_name')->js(true)->focus(); on the page after the form has been initialized.
This is such a great script called fullPage.js located here: https://github.com/alvarotrigo/fullPage.js
I managed to load the js file and css file and even with the Void Menu Module, managed to call anchor links, but I'm struggling with the data attributes part of the implementation of this cool code! Any help is greatly appreciated! How do I get data-attributes to work in Drupal 7.25? I mean, I need to add them to the menu, so that the html looks something like this:
<ul id="menu">
<li data-menuanchor="firstPage">First slide</li>
<li data-menuanchor="secondPage">Second slide</li>
<li data-menuanchor="3rdPage">Third slide</li>
<li data-menuanchor="4thpage">Fourth slide</li>
</ul>
Just want to add it to the Main Menu in Drupal. Any idea how? Am trying to implement this on my homepage and using the Adaptive Sub-Theme with Display Suite Module installed, if that helps any.
Have added the following to template.php, but it makes no difference at all:
function MY_THEME_NAME_menu_link(&$variables) {
$variables['element']['#attributes']['data-menuanchor'] = substr($variables['element']['href'], 1);
return theme_menu_link($variables);
}
What am I doing wrong here?
EDIT
You can download the sitemaniacs theme here: http://dream-portal.net/dpdowns/MyProblem.zip
You can just download Adaptive Theme from Drupal here and than copy sitemaniacs to your sites/all/themes folder and than just enable the theme and go to your homepage.
There is also a folder called fullPage that is the example of it working perfectly fine without Drupal.
Files to take note of:
/sites/all/themes/sitemaniacs/scripts/custom.js
/sites/all/themes/sitemaniacs/template.php
/sites/all/themes/sitemaniacs/css/example2.css
/sites/all/themes/sitemaniacs/sitemaniacs.info
Let me know if you need anything else, k?
And Thank YOU!!! What I've done is create 4 Basic Pages, and using the Field Formatter Class Module to give the body field a class (when managing the Display) defined as section, than promoted to front page. Than I used HTML within another Node Type and used NodeBlock Module to output it as a menu item within the Menu Bar section of the blocks, with url <front>. Let me know if you need anything else for this, but I can't get it to work using this simple approach. I've tried tons of ways of doing it also, but no go for me. If you find a method that works, or perhaps something is wrong somewhere else, please please let me know.... I'm pulling out my hair on this one.
Have tried straight HTML, and now getting this:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'top' of undefined jquery.fullPage.js?mzf0rp:506
scrollPage jquery.fullPage.js?mzf0rp:506
doneResizing jquery.fullPage.js?mzf0rp:889
The first error seems to occur in the scrollPage function on this line here:
var dtop = dest !== null ? dest.top : null;
Looks like dest.top is not defined on .top. Any idea why?
Use the Menu Link Attributes module that will let you add custom attributes per menu item.
for "href" you can use <'front'>#4thpage(front without any “cotation”) in path in menu that you create in Structure > Menus and use the Menu Link Attributes module for other attributes
These are my first steps with drupal.
I have created a taxonomy hierarchy for my articles and now I am trying to add a new field to the content type "Article" and "Media" so the content admin can assign a "category" to his new content.
So I've been to Structure > Content Types > Article > Manage Fields
Then "Add new field" with :
1- Label = Category
2- Name = "field_category
3- Field = "Term reference"
**4- Automatically changes to "Select list" but I am unable to see the drop down list options. Clicking the list doesn't do anything, I couldn't select Autocomplete or any other value I've seen on forums & tutorials. Using firebug I could see the options are there, but the list doesn't show up.**
This is happening with all types of fields, even with text fields, the most basic one.
Any idea why is this happening ?
As glumbo mentioned, the problem here is caused by jQuery 1.7 update. As of jQuery 1.6 DOM properties should be accessed using .prop() function.
There is an open issue with some hotfix solution:
You need to replace .attr() jQuery function call with .prop() in /modules/field_ui/field_ui.js at following lines:
100: $(this).html(html).attr('disabled', disabled ? 'disabled' : '');
253: $(ajaxElements).attr('disabled', true);
Please note that this fix modifies a Drupal core module and you'll probably want to use a patch (Dries would kill the kitty anyway:).
The problem is with jquery update. If you are using jquery 1.7 you will get this problem
